Description:
Jocasta has killed herself when she realized that her son, Oedipus, had killed her husband, Laius, that she had married him and bore unnatural children by him.
Oedipus then proceeded to cut down Jocasta's body and lay her on the ground. He took the golden brooches from her robes and stabbed out his own eyes with them, so that he could no longer see suffering. He then promised to banish himself from Thebes. - Date: 03/25/2009

- demonpimp. this inst from the play Antigone, this is from the play Oedipus in Antigone there is no Oedipus. and a very excellent job portraying the whole thing 5/5. and i absolutely loved the play.
