my avatar always has this hair style and color. I cosplay as a lot of different things with my friends, and i've gone so far as to change my avatar's skin color (it's purple now) but i always try to make it look like a costume... sort of like halloween or play dress up? I think it is well done, and instead of JUST using the halloween stuff the stores put out you actually added your own touch and i think that is awsome.
