Description:
The Ents liked the forest trees, but the Entwives were interested in edible plants. The Entwives interacted with the race of Men and taught them about the art of agriculture. They moved away from the Ents and the wild forest, and the male Ents still visited them for a time.
The Entwives lived in peace until their gardens were destroyed by Sauron during the Second Age, and they themselves disappeared. The Ents looked for them but never found them.
