Well... uh... I'm of short height with a slim build. My blond hair is spiked, and in Final Fantasy VII featured one particularly large spike emerging into the air. For this reason, my spiked hair has become one of the trademarks of my appearance, although in later appearances the spikes have been toned down. I was originally conceptualized with black hair, but this was changed, as my hair is meant to serve as a contrast to Sephiroth's silver hair. I have... blue eyes, which glow due to the Mako flowing through my body. Because "Mako eyes" are an icon of SOLDIER, I'm often mistaken as one. Presumably it is this Mako that allows me to wield my iconic Buster Sword, which is seemingly too heavy for non-SOLDIER members to use. I was, however, capable of using it to great effect as a Shinra guard with no special abilities. Then again, when I was inside the Nibelheim Reactor, I was exposed to raw Mako. Probably helped out with lifting that sword. It feels like a feather to me, but I've seen Cid struggle to try to pick it up.
My outfit in Final Fantasy VII is a modified version of the uniform for 1st Class SOLDIERs. The clothing consists of simple pants with a short-sleeved shirt, which are purple-blue in color, and a belt. I also wear brown boots and gauntlets with a single pauldron over my left shoulder. This is also the uniform I wear for most of my other appearances, with slight variations.
In Final Fantasy VII, due to the combined effect of mako poisoning and the influence of Jenova's cells in my body, I unknowingly held a fake persona created by the Jenova cells mixing my memories of Zack's personality with the somewhat cocky and selfish attitude I believed a SOLDIER 1st Class would have. However, during the events of the game I eventually restore my original personality, and show genuine concern for the fate of the planet, a sharp contrast to my persona at the start of the game where I claimed that I didn't care about the planet and only agreed to help AVALANCHE for the right price. Once my true memories are restored, I hold the same personality, although my guilt over the events that I allowed to occur as a result of my false memories never left me.
In Crisis Core, I am depicted as a rather shy person who idolize both Zack and Sephiroth. However, when Sephiroth has burned down Nibelheim and badly wounded Zack and Tifa, I didn't hesitate to avenge them by hurling the madman to his apparent death whilst impaled with the Masamune. ... Which hurt. A lot. I promptly passed out, along with Zack.
About my weapons-

Buster Sword: The Buster Sword is an iconic symbol from Final Fantasy VII, that has since appeared in several other games in the series. It serves as Cloud Strife's main weapon, and was wielded before him by Zack Fair and Angeal Hewley. The Buster Sword is classified as an enormous broadsword (though it has more in common with a Zweihander). From tip to handle, it is approximately 5 feet long, with a single-edged, enormously wide blade. Its broad hilt sports a swirling motif, and there are two holes on the blade near the hilt, often mistaken for Materia "slots", but are in fact used to attach the sword to a harness on Cloud's back. The funny thing about that is that the Buster Sword in-game has only two Materia slots.
