• Chapter 4
    CHAOS?!

Hero rushed out into the open.

“Hey kid! Don’t go any further it’s too dangerous in there!!” Shouted an officer afraid to leave his post as Hero zipped by, punching through the window of the bank. A shot was fired as he landed in the main lobby, the bullet skinning his face. Several more shots fired in his direction.

“Holy- . . . just my luck,” He shouted taking a dive for a near by desk for cover. His heart raced as chips of wood flew off behind him from more gun fire.

“. . . You’re an idiot! You keep proving my statement over true.” Kei spoke through the helmet beside him. In shock he jumped, hitting his head on the desk. He turned around as Kei took off the helmet. “Hey you’re the chick from earlier.” He pointed out the obvious.

“Noo, I’m her evil twin.” Kei resorted to his statement.

“What ever . . . we’ve got people to rescue” Completely shrugging off her sarcasm. He grabbed some shiruiken from inside his school blazer.

“I’m surprised that the head master hadn’t found these on me yet.” He spoke brimming with confidence

“Where the hell did those come from,” Kei questioned him. A clank sounded from on top of the desk, and then a green round object dropped in between them. Both of their eyes opened wide looking at the object and back to each other.

“Holy Jeebus,” The both cried, leaping for another desk for cover as the object exploded behind them. As they took cover under another desk, more gun shots fired.

“Shoukeki,” Shouted Kei, waving out her hand, raising up a barrier protecting herself from debris and gun fire.

“Damn it all,” Screamed Hero, tossing his shiruiken at two armed men, knocking their weaponry out of their hands. He then fell to the ground clutching his leg, he was bleeding severely, Rolling up his sweat pant leg, revealing a deep wound within it. He twitched with agenizing, tearing his T-shirt apart, wrapping his wound up.

“Oh crap! I forgot about you” Kei mentioned inching further into the desk with her barrier up, realizing Hero was reaching a peak of anger.

“You shot my leg!! Idiots! Now you’ve got me angry,” Shouted Hero, standing up without a wince of pain.

“You’ve done it alright, yup, yup.” Kei whispered to herself. Hero ran at both men, his cap flying from his head, showing pointy snow white dog like ears. Both men stumbled out of Hero’s path of attack in shock as he punched a desk in half. Shifting his view to one of the men scrambling for his gun, he dashed at him quickly. Hero grabbed him by the collar of the shirt, raising him high in the air.

“And what are you planning now?” He asked.

The man trembled within Hero’s clutch, stuttering his words. “J-just wh-who . . . wh-what are you?” the man replied with another question. Scuffing to his feet, the other man aimed his pistol at hero, taking a shot. Hero’s ears twitched, he turned using his free hand catching the bullet in mid air.

“Nice try moron” Hero commented. The man tried several more times, but to no success.

“Your n-not h-human. . . “He stated, falling to his knees pointing his shaking hand at Hero.

“Hey! Spell using chic,” Shouted Hero, picking up the other man by his shirt collar.

“Yes,” Responded Kei coming out from under her hiding place.

“Get these hostages out of here.” He ordered.

“Since when do you make commands?” She questioned.

“Just do it” she spoke sternly.

    “Okay fine.” She answered.

“NOW,” He shouted. Kei moved swiftly escorting the hostages to safety.

“God bless you children for your bravery.” Said an old woman as she exited, Hero took both men, hanging them up high.

“Who put you up to this?!” hero yelled at them.

They kept silent testing Hero’s patience.

“I’ll ask again! Tell me, WHO put you up to this?!” he asked, twitching his nose. The man he hung on the left side took in a breath.

“Chaos, our boss goes by Chaos.” He answered.

“Thank-you, which was all I needed gentlemen” Hero smiled cracking his knuckles. He then punched them both out cold and walked out through the banks entrance doors.

“Halt!” spoke the officer who tried to stop him earlier.

“The men you want are inside, napping.” Hero answered before leaping off. ‘Looks like that girl left as she escorted those hostages out . . . Oh well I think we’ll meet again.’ He thought heading home.

‘One thing rattles me though, who is Chaos?’
