• “Mmmmm” I mumbled as I ruffled my crimson hair. “Does it really have to end here?” I said as I pushed up my black glasses.

“Yes.” There was a faint click as he cocked his gun. “Yes, it does.” He said as he pointed the gun at me with both hands.

“It was fun though… wasn’t it?” I said as I pulled down the sleeves on my black-on-white striped long sleeved shirt. “I never thought, you would be the one to get me” I started to nibble on my thumb as I stared at him.

“It wasn’t fun Ray… Those people you murdered…” His eyes started to get watery as he slipped his fore finger onto the trigger. “I never even thought it was you… My own friend…” He said as a single tear dripped down, leaving a trail behind it.

“I see… Well, why kill me if you could just turn me in?” I said as I pulled my thumb away from my lips.

“You know the kind of man I am. I never turn in someone as bad as…you… They could murder someone and escape!” He yelled, his arm starting to shake. “Well, before I lose my focus…” There was a bang, followed by a sharp pain in my chest. I started to get droopy. I wanted to sleep really badly. I started to close my eyes, the image of my friend wiping his tears forever being the last thing I ever see.

“I’ll see you later then.” I managed to smile. I felt hard cold stone hit my back with a thud and an icy feeling seemed to have swept over me, as I walked towards the outstretched hand of Death.
