• Our memories still can’t be erased; I can’t get her out of my mind.
    It happened to years ago.
I was a transferee in that school,
I met her that very day and the first time I saw her, I knew she was the one.
She was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, her name was Gharlyn.
We became friends at first, but I didn’t tell her how I really feel for her.
She was a very fun-loving person that’s why her friends call her “Smiley” because she was always laughing, forever smiling.
We usually spend our time with our group of friends drinking coffee in Starbucks and playing video games in my house.
A time came when she didn’t come to school I asked her best friends if she’s sick or anything like that but all they answered me was a blank stare.
She was absent for the whole week.
I called their house but nobody picked up the phone.
When she came back to school she was a little pale and thin.
She told me it was for a personal reason, every time I asked her why she was absent.
I figure it out but she kept a secret from me. I only found out when they rushed her to the hospital, the very night I was going to tell her what I feel for her.
I found out she had cancer in blood or some call it leukemia.
She was confined for days, so I decided to tell her anyway.
I was surprised she told me she loved me more than I expected.
    I fell asleep.
While watching her sleeping when I woke, I tried to wake her up but she didn’t move.
I called for a nurse and that’s when I found she was gone….. FOREVER. sad
