• Remi rolls across the floor trapped in another nightmare. In her nightmare she is only three. Two people are kicking her as she lays in a corner in the fetal position hugging the sword she was given. After being beaten for what felt like hours, Remi struggles to stand up and pulls out her sword which is twice as big as her. She slices through the first man's body diagonally. Then she stabs her sword through the other man's stomach and out his back before pulling it back. The last thing she sees before waking up is dark crimson blood, pouring onto the ground.
Remi's eyes open and she looks around the room. Her blanket is in a heap on the other side of the room by her pillow. The sweat rolling down her had soaked through her shirt. From the position of the sun outside her window, Remi estimated it to be six in the morning. She takes off her shirt and dumps it in the closet. Then she pulls out a long black dress. The sleeves of it go from skinny at the top to slightly flared out at the wrist. Her dress as a whole is layered, thus making it much thicker. It shows off her body shape in the top half then becomes wide and flows in the back two inches or so past her heels. Remi pulls the dress over her head, puts on some short black boots and walks out of her room.
Around the corner Kiskei is slicing fruit. Remi looks up and gives him a half-smile. He seems as if he wants to say something but doesn't. The smile on Remi's face disappears,"Speak if you want to,"she says frustrated.
"I-I,"Kiskei stutters."I heard you whimpering in your sleep,"he manages to get out.
    "Just a small nightmare."
    "What happened?"
    "I got kicked."
    "You whimpered from getting kicked?"
"Look! Everyone has nightmares. Quit bugging me."
"You scared Yoko with the sword last night,"he mentions
    "Force of habit."
    "I shouldn't b-"
"No, you shouldn't butt in! I pulled my sword out on Yoko. Obviously. I had a nightmare and whimpered. Sure. I also heal faster than most." Remi takes Kiskei's knife and slices through an inch of skin on her cheek. Kiskei watches the cut close completely after the blood only reaches her chin. His eyes go wide. He knew she ran extremely fast, jumped high, and she was really strong. He didn't know Remi healed faster than any living thing. She wipes the blood off with the handle of his knife and tosses it on the counter. While watching his reaction she says,"I'm going to the hot spring outback." Remi slightly bows her head and walks out to the ot spring with a towel in her hand.
    .....

Kiskei throw the fruit away. Taking a glance at Remi's sword he things to himself. He should probably hide her sword for the time being. He's afraid of what she might do with it. At times Kiskei sensed a coldness in her. As if Remi would kill someone for the looking at her wrong. He feels like something bad happened to her before she came to Hashi. What occurs in a four year old's life that makes her so cautious? Remi's much more protective of herself than most people. Her memories must be lost because she was so young.
    .....

Remi slips off her clothes and slowly steps down into the boiling water. It's shallow enough to allow her to sit down and have the water only reach her shoulders. She lays back, closes her eyes, and floats on top in an attempt to forget her recent dream. The hot water feels extremely relaxing. The wind quietly whistles around her and birds are chirping farther away. After a half hour Remi still can't erase the image of blood pouring out everywhere. She gets up, and drys herself off with the towel, and she puts her clothes back on. When Remi goes back inside she notices that Kiskei's gone. She also sees that her sword isn't where she put it. "Dammit,"she whispers to herself. Apparently Kiskei didn't like the fact that she pulled her sword out and Yoko and when she cut her face it must have scared him a bit. She can't believe he had actually gone somewhere and hid her sword.
Once Remi realizes all this she hears Kiskei come back. Kiskei takes one look at her face and knows she noticed her sword was gone. "Where the hell did you put it?"she asks him.
"I put it somewhere safe. I don't want you harming anyone with it or yourself."
"If I don't have that sword it'll be harder to stop them."
"Stop who?"he looks at her confused.
"I don't know but I have the sudden notion that someone needed me and I didn't comply,"Remi replies.
    "Someone's after you?"
"Not necessarily. I can't really remember anything. I just got a feeling that I needed my sword to solve something. Well, now you've taken it from me. I'll have to fight without it."
"Why are you remembering this now? Do we have to go anywhere?"Kiskei questions her.
"Maybe I can sense things going on in other places. And I think right now I'm most likely getting these thoughts from where I came from."
"And these senses happen to pop in your mind the second you don't have your sword."
"Obviously I only knew this in my subconcious and you taking my sword brought them out to tell me who know what will happen."Remi says
"Fine. Lets pack, I'll go with you,"Kiskei answers.
"No,"she stops him."You'll get yourself killed. I don't have time to pack and there's no need." Remi runs out of the house and doesn't stop. She figured it would waste time and she'd have to rely on her advanced abilities. The truth was that Remi knew she had been in danger since the previous night and she had blamed Kiskei so he wouldn't realize she hadn't warned him. Too much of her life was spent in that village. Remi knew she didn't belong yet she hoped to live a normal life there.
As she's running through the field of cherry blossom filled trees she know that her dream has something do do with the people who're after her. They wanted to use her superior abilities and make her into some kind of heartless murderer. They thought Remi would take care of their enemies. So at only four years old she fled and ended up at Hashi. Whatever she is Remi decides she matured extremely fast too. Strange, the sword which they gave her is also suppose to protect her. She would rather destroy it. Though some kind of invisible connection she feels to it would keep her from doing so.
Continuing her run Remi tunes her senses into the surroundings to keep from being captured. If anyone attempts to attack her they'll be killed in an instant. She eventually gets to the tree which is in the exact middle of the field. A strong feeling causes her to search the hole at the bottom of the tree. In there Remi finds her sword. Kiskei must have gone farther than she thought, to hide it. She quickly puts it on her back and continues going
    ......

A little sooner than an hour after Remi leave a man knocks on Kiskei's door. When Kiskei comes to the door the stranger jumps behind him and restrains his arms. This man has very strong but thing armor under his clothes. "Where is the superior form?"he questions Kiskei.
"What are you talking about?"Kiskei replies.
"The one known as Remi. Where is she?"he persists.
"She's gone."Kiskei kicks the man's leg extremely hard to be free from his grasp. He then punches the man's face hard enough to knock him out. Once he finds his kitchen knife he sticks it in the stranger's throat and pulls it out, thus killing him. Kiskei finds another knife, but this one has a small sheath. After hooking it onto the inside of his pants he leaves his house in search of Remi.
    .....

Remi has now been running straight ahead for a long time. She isn't sure how far away it is where she's headed or where another town is. As she's contemplating this she sees a group of men up ahead who she senses are the enemy she's been looking for. Remi pulls out her sword, speeds up to a much faster pace, and slices every one of them. She then puts the sword back in its sheath and enters what looks like a town.
