• The Mean Cat: Chapter 2

All of you know the tale of Neptune, cough, I mean the Noble Cat right? Well it’s time that we tell a different tale about the Mean cat, Hades. Hades is a black cat who is selfish and rude. Did I mention mean? Hades, in the tale of the Noble Cat, nearly killed Neptune by making his 3-headed friend, Cerberus attack him. After, everyone had heard what happened Athena put Hades and Cerberus on her special watch. “Don’t you see what you’ve done?” asked Athena. “Yes, and I don’t care. Cerberus failed the mission I gave him” Hades said carelessly. “You’re so selfish. You almost killed Neptune. I was training him to be more…” said Athena before she was cut off. “More brave. Blah, blah, blah, blah. We all know the tale. “You are also so rude. What made you be like this?” “Mind your own business. I hate when people are on my territory” said Hades angrily. “First of all, I’m trying to relate to you so we can talk about your problems and secondly, what do you mean your territory? The forest belongs to no one. It belongs to everyone.” said Athena wisely. Hades was outspoken because of what she’d just said. He thought of something to say. “Where is Cerberus? I need to talk to him.”
“I let him go a while ago because I know I need to help you.”
“What makes you think you’re the one who is going to help me? And anyway I don’t need help.”
“I think you do and I’m the one who helped Neptune to get out of the scardey-cat faze.”
“ Ok, maybe you can help me. ….I’ll do it!”
