• With the sky so grey, I knew the storm was coming. The waves crashed mercilessly at the cliff's edge. A sign that the hurricane would be hitting us anytime now. There is no use running away anymore. The storm would wipe us out anyways. What good would it be to waste energy and still end up dying? I stood on the cliff's edge. The temptation to jump rose within me. My angry soul, it wanted to join them. The storm, that is. Nothing good ever happened to me. Now would be the perfect time to end it all. I stepped closer to the edge, but I didn't jump. Not just yet. I waited a bit, and looked back a couple of times. He wasn't there. My one and only love, I am now sure, doesn't care if I just end my life here all alone. Why should he care if I were to disappear? It would do him good, I bet. No more hesitation. No, I must focus. I looked back at the colossal sea, and jumped.
