• There once was a kid born to a happy family. The kid’s name was Marlo Greece. Marlo was born with one green eye and one blue eye, and he was born really small. His father was a tall, musician and toured around the world. His mother was a short, skinny teacher and taught at Arielage Junior High. His dad had blue eyes and his mother had green eyes. Marlo stayed at his Aunt Bailey’s house, and he didn’t see his parents very often. When Marlo was two years old, an accident happened and Marlo’s uncle was trapped under a shelf. Marlo picked it up with his own two hands and saved his uncle from dying.
His uncle said “One day Marlo will be the greatest hero that ever lived. What he did was incredible!” he said in shock.
Marlo was not flattered because he really could not understand what was being said. Marlo just stood there in front of his uncle staring at him wondering what in the world was he talking about.
Three years later, Marlo started school in kindergarten. Marlo was at least two inches taller. He met a kid who was very lonely, Jeremiah Small, (who then later turned his last name into Monster.) Jeremiah was really tall, he had blue eyes and had a lot of dots on his face. (his pimples are starting at this age.)
Marlo asked, “Do you want to play football?”
Jeremiah replied, “Yes, but why are you asking me. Aren’t you going to play with the others?”
“No, you look lonely, and you need a friend.” Marlo said.
Jeremiah turned his head and whispered, “You got that right!”
Well, after this day, Marlo and Jeremiah became best friends. Marlo practically defended Jeremiah because a lot of kids teased him of what he looked like. He had really big pimples on his face.
Curious Marlo asked, “Aren’t you going to squeeze those pimples on your face?”
“I don’t know how.” Jeremiah admitted
“Well, ask your parents.” Marlo said
Jeremiah started crying and said “I don’t have parents, I live with my uncle Chuck.”
    Marlo said, “Ask your uncle.”
I can’t, he’s really mean, at least to me!” yelled Jeremiah
    Marlo said, “Oh well!”
Marlo also got teased because of his size. They would call him shrimp, baby, preschooler etc. Like one of the kids at school would say: “Hey shrimp, how is the weather from down there?” Marlo did not answer, he just walked away. Marlo did not really care because he thought being short and weird was a good thing. People did not expect anything from him. Marlo was a skinny kid too, because he practiced martial arts a lot, he lost all the calories and fat he ate everyday. That means he could eat all his favorite foods all he wanted. Marlo always wore his “gi” (a karate suit.) After school Marlo would go to Kung Fu class and study the martial arts, so he can save the world when he got older.
Ten years later, Marlo and Jeremiah were 15 years old. Marlo saw Jeremiah destroying homes and killing people, even his uncle Chuck. Eight years before, Jeremiah and Marlo were no longer friends and had become villains or enemies. Jeremiah turned green at the age of 10 and Marlo just never grew. When Marlo got older he started seeing things differently in both eyes, the green eye saw real life and the blue eye saw virtually. One day, they came face to face in an alley. Jeremiah made the first move, and missed. Marlo started to attack and hit him.
“You are no match for me. I’m Marlo the Kung Fu Fighter!” Marlo screamed.
While Marlo said that, Jeremiah came from behind and hit Marlo in the back of the head. Marlo made another move and missed. Jeremiah got away. Two months later, Marlo (at his big house in Arielage) became sick with Influenza and could not walk, or do Kung Fu, so he could not save the world.
Five years later, Marlo, now twenty-nine, spotted Jeremiah again. They start to fight in a dark room inside an abandoned stadium.
“You’re going down into the ground.” Jeremiah said confidently.
Marlo said, “No I’m not. You are!”
Marlo made the first move. The fight went on for an hour, and finally Jeremiah was tired, and with the advantage, Marlo won. After this fight, he finally defeated his main enemy Jeremiah Monster. The next day, Marlo got two medals: one from the governor of North Carolina and one from the president of the United States at the White House.
In his acceptance speech he said, “Thank you all for giving me this award. I am happy to accept this award because of my hard work and because of my dedication to doing Kung Fu and using martial arts to help people. From when I was two years old until now, I have been helping people around this city and I’m proud of doing it. Thank you for listening!”
For the rest of Marlo’s life he gained respect for his hard work and because a lot of people (especially children) looked up to him. He gained a profit from being in commercials (which he did a lot.) He spent much time doing charitable work for poor children. Marlo still fought other villains too, but did mostly commercials (like the Gatorade commercial.) This was what he did for the rest of his life.
