• Please comment and critique. I know it's not perfect, but I tried.

It had been a month since his last 'rampage.' He hadn't even caused damage, yet he had been imprisoned in what they called a 'room.' He wasn't even full android. He was mostly human, but the metal on his upper leg reminded him of his ancestry. He didn't need to be called a model. He hadn't been made in a factory, yet he had been kidnapped and renamed Model S4567. He jumped off his bed and began to pace the floor, planning his escape. 'They' had covered up the hole he had used for his first attempt. He heard a knock on the door. He recognized as the nurse's, who had helped him with all his attempts to escape.

"Come in." He said. She opened the door. Her name was Mariko, and she was about twenty.

"Hello." She smiled, walking in. Takumi noticed that she had dyed her hair a new color. Origionally it was black, but now she had dyed it some kind of dark blonde. She was planning to escape. She was also half-android, but 'they' hadn't realized it. It was actually quite obvious.

"Here's your breakfast." She dropped his breakfast and left. He walked over to where Mariko had placed his food. A colorless, rotten-smelling blob.
"Delicious." He sighed. He quickly threw it away. He was not going to eat that mess. What was wrong with the cook? Even real androids wouldn't eat this slop! He heard another knock. It was heavier and more urgent-sounding than Mariko's. It was 'them.' The scientists. Those sadistic, cruel, amazingly stupid, scientists. Takumi often wondered how they'd been allowed to leave the house, let alone work as scientists. The world had turned into a ball of dirt and plants run by idiots. The 'normal' ones, the ones who didn't run the place, were actually quite smart, and in Takumi's opinion, should be running the place.

They didn't bother to hear Takumi's pseudo-polite 'come in.' They barged in and demanded him to strip for some kind of test. Sure. Like they knew what to do. They drugged him, as usual, and probably did tests. Or left him naked on the bed. Takumi was betting on the latter.

He woke up about an hour later. He was still nude, which proved to Takumi that they just left him lying there. He put his clothes on, swearing under his breath. He grabbed the gun he kept under his pillow. The scientists apparently didn't check for things that, y'know, could be used for murder and/or escape. Idiots. Further proving their stupidity, they hadn't even locked the door.

"Attempt number 4." He mumbled. He opened the door, the gun hidden beneath his jacket. A few nurses approached him, but he didn't shoot them. They weren't bad. He needed to get to the scientists. There he would strike. He took a few steps towards where the scientists were situated. He saw Mariko. She smiled at him, obviously knowing what he was up to. He walked closer to where they were. He knocked on the door. He could hear laughter. That was definetly not 'scientist work.' One of them opened the door. Takumi was there, gun poised, ready to shoot. The man barely had time to open his mouth to scream. Boom. He walked in. Boom. Boom. Click. He reloaded the gun and shot some more. By the time he had killed all of them, the supervisor had showed up.
"What's going-?" Boom. Headshot. Takumi made a run for it.

He was free! For the first time in nearly a year, he felt air on his skin, the sun, everything. He saw some kind of flashing lights. Probably police, but he didn't care. He kept running like he was a drunk.

    Then it all went black.

This was origionally a sample post that I made, but then I saw the short story potential in it. I like this one better [than the other one I've written]. I'll probably make this a book.
