• Living style; it isn’t exactly home garden.
Now I live in this place, this jail cell.
It’s cold, hazardous and it’s not right to the human eye. This cage feels like it’s for animals. Its harsh ice cold glares from guards makes any noob s**t on himself.
Most people have a thing or two interesting about them. Take the time you might even hear a good story. Most find mine interesting enough, but really come on mind control? It isn’t the coolest gift. Well till you mastered it. Like myself through the time I barely realized my mind was a complex living creature. All I could do was remember silly memories.
Now I can throw things around without even flitching, control people’s minds, even dig through people’s minds and unravel its unholy existence then destroy it. By doing this I can damage them forever.
It’s like I’m a hacker but a deadly hacker. The organization uses me like a bishop. I find it cruel and wrong to be playing around with people’s minds it’s just the horror I feel after. If I refuse though…I’m scared to death from that scruffy deep mesmerizing voice that echoes threw my ear saying my number. It’s the darkness I feel; it’s the loss of feeling. It’s the waking up with blood on my hands.
    It’s the worst.
    To me at least.
    The others get worse.
This place has testing. The doctors with their cold hands digging within us making us shiver, pushing us to the limit like animals. Here out death rate is like rats. Only the strong ones like me get through the operations.
Anyway this is my life now sharing it with such powerful unlucky people as myself. This place makes me angry.
    I want out.
But there is no way out.
    There never is.
    The Present
My eyes slowly cracked open. Everything turning from a blur is clear as day even the groggy feeling won’t leave my bones and the sound of a recurring beep keeps on getting louder and louder. As I tried to get up I slowly was assured I wasn’t getting anywhere tight bounds kept me strapped down like an animal. I desperately looked around trying to find something to break me loose but then sudden laughter intruded the room. I gulped and listened closer. The laughter sounded cold and cruel and the source from the laughter was a man, he looked insanely creepy almost as if he was a mad man, for all he knew he could possibly be one.
The man was dressed in a white lab coat and his black hair was tangled all over his head as if he hasn’t brushed it in years. His eyes were the thing that got him. They were piercing white eyes. They looked soulless and cold an empty vessel but he did noticed a speck of craziness in his eyes.
I shuddered and watched as the man was putting on gloves. I then finally decided to speak up and say “Where am I?”
The man laughed again this time it shook the whole bed he laid upon. An answered followed “You’re in my lab. I thought this was obvious”
His voice sounded whimsical and it only scared me even more. So I gulped and replied back “Fine then, why am I here?”
The man looked over and said cowering over my body his voice deepening “To see if you’re worth our time. “ I got a confused look on my face puzzled and before I could respond he got out a knife and laughed once more. My eyes widened as I felt a cold hand over my tummy I looked at him and all I could see was his ice cold smile. Pain followed. A hash jab to my stomach and tearing came along with it. I screamed the pain running up and down my body itself screaming for help. The tearing got worse and it spread from my stomach to my chest a line of blood pouring out and my nails clawing at the things around me. And then it happened. Cold hands dug down into me, yanking and pulling, looking for something. I screamed again tears clouding my vision. I looked at him and let my thoughts wonder. Coming to the only conclusion of I wanted him off of me. I screamed with all my might and started to pull against the bounds.
    Light.
There was only light that covered my eyesight a blinding light that shined so bright It burned everything inside me and outside of me as well. My eyesight turned normal once again and I was unbound and the laughter has left my ears. No longer in pain and trapped I looked around and saw the man once more but this time the knife was in him and flutters of black ash fell like snow all around me. I blinked confused but was only answered by the man’s final words digging harder in me than the knife itself.
“You are one of us. Welcome to your new life, newborn”
