• She was her BFF, her friend for life
The only person to keep her from the knife
    They constantly laughed, always smiled.
Kept their time in school worth while
Forever they stood, side by side
Riding together on the roller coaster of life
But her friend had a secret, she never told
One so dark, deep and cold
Her friend's like a terrible calamity
Soon to be a horrible tragedy
She hid her secret with a laugh and a giggle,
Little did they know she would pull the trigger
Her mom alcoholic, dad on drugs
She never got any signs of affection,
    Never a hug
One night, her mom had too much to drink
So intoxicated she could barely think
Her mom slapped the girl across the face, not a word to say
Without second thought, the girl ran away
Tears poured down her face, as she searched for the gun
This time she finally had had enough
Buried in a drawer, fully loaded pistol
Her tears glinting in the moonlight shining like crystals
She held the gun to her head, about to face her death
She wiped off her tears, as she took her last breath
She pulled the trigger and fell to the ground
The house was so quiet, not a single sound
The next day, the police were called to the scene
"One more suicidal death by another stupid teen,"
Her friend showed up, not believing it was true
The only person she cared about, that always saw her through
Sprawled on the floor, death on her face
But this was something she couldn't take
She ran home quick with one thing on her mind
Tears covered her face, her life so out of line
    A stool on the ground
    A rope hanging down
    She kicked the stool away,
And hung there with a frown on her face
But before she died, She left a note
On the inside, what she had wrote:
"I had to leave to be with my friend
Because we really meant it when we said,
Together forever, 'till the very end."
