• Description: I'm not the type to write poetry. Most of the time, I'll play out poetry and lyrics in my mind as I lay in bed. As I fall asleep, they are forgotten. I was thinking of the love triangle between the general, Jovis, and Nallaen... thus, this very short poem was written. It's 2 AM and I don't even know why I am submitting this. Guilt because I haven't submitted anything in a while? Fear of forgetting these words? Who knows?

There's the man you love and the man you're with.
Your thoughts at night open up the gaping rift.
It is in this hour you begin to realize,
As the two ignore the constant lies.
A decision pulses deep within their minds.
Bound one man to your heart and release the loved one's binds.
