• A stranger sits across the aisle
Starring out the window behind me
    I can't help but stare
If only he would come sit by me
    I look at his perfection
    And he meets my eyes
    Locked in a stolen intimacy
I see his chest rise and fall as he sighs
His deep brown eyes don't seem to blink
    As he gazes into mine
We seem to be all alone
At a stand still of time
The driver calls out an address
He looks startled so I shake my head yes that I know
So we smile at each other when he stands to leave
I wish he didn't have to go
    I look out the window
    As the bus pulls away
And thus ended our three stop romance
With the smallest good bye wave
