"Do You Care How I Feel?"

• Description: This is a poem I wrote about the earth and pollution because I'm into writing poems about the pollution and what we have done to our home. You might have read my writing before in my poem "The Earth" This poem is similar yet it's the earth's point of view. Please keep in mind my poems are also messages about pollution and I would love if today, when you read this you will remember and do one good thing to help the earth. Like walking somewhere instead of driving, or starting a recycling bin.

Again it speaks
As sorrow leaks
A wishful moan
In hopeful tone

Your hurting me
It solemnly pleas
I want to be the same
Yet you all can't be tame

I used to be earth
My beauty, infinite worth
Now I'm broken down
You don't hear my sounds

If I stay like this, I will die
Can anyone hear me cry
It hurts me and I hate it
Yet in the end, you will regret

Ignoring me and going on
It's not a game, I'm not your pawn
I am the earth you live on me
So get out now, give me your key
