-
She stood in the center of the room with her hands up.
Her lifeless expression forever haunting me.
The music began and I reached for her hands.
We danced.
As I embraced her I could feel the beating of her heart on mine.
The warmth of her body barely comforting me.
We held each other and promised never to forget.
We embraced.
Knowing I'd never see her again made me shudder.
We stared into each other's eyes, holding hands.
I shouldn't have let go for I still had more to say to her.
We cried.
I stared out the foggy window and waved to her.
The farther I got from her the colder I felt.
I'll miss you more than anyone in my life...
I love you.
