Lying on the ground so cold
Like a dream from long ago
There she lays wrinkled and old.
Standing watch, proud and bold
The crow mourns the woman so
Lying on the ground so cold.
People pass to watch her mold
leaving her to return to their abode
There she lays wrinkled and old.
Wings, the crow does fold
Protecting the body forgotten long ago
Lying on the ground so cold.
Once a heart made of gold
Now a mass regarded so low
There she lays wrinkled and old
This woman's fate is sold
Sympathy, no one will show
Lying on the ground so cold
There she lays wrinkled and old.

- Brilliant poetry, finally something good to read on gaia. I thought only more s**t would be added to this stack, but it seems this poem is a diamond in the s**t. (Trailer Park Boys inspired metaphor) Maybe they fell to connect in Teenage's mind but not in mine. I think its about the loss of sentiment and unthinking minds that never look deeper at things than whats on the surface. A crow would normally eat her, but its seeing past its animalistic needs to something higher.
