• Ever since the first Serpent,
    drove Man to realize their faults,
    with the bite of the poisoned fruit.
    He's been hiding in the bushes,
    awaiting the unsuspecting.
    To strike him in the ankle,
    and inflict his lying tongue.

    The venom spreads through the body,
    filling the heart with deceit,
    and turning the Man green.
    The Man infects the public,
    changing friends into enemies.
    Hostile friends began to bout,
    over who will take Lady Fame.

    Many dance with Lady Fame,
    as she corrupts their reputations,
    only to depart with full pockets.
    Leaving a hollow man,
    alone, to replenish himself.
    But is only able to,
    through the eyes of his peers.

    Lady Fame slips away,
    From the public, with gold and disgrace.
    As the public denounces her, to be a villain.
    Eventually, Lady Fame becomes,
    a forgotten maiden of the past.
    Only to live on, in the Serpent's Hiss,
    of his lying tongue.
