• Description: I was watching... some movie or other and I kept thinking that the side-kick was the one doing all the hard, scary stuff and the hero was the one who got the happy ending. So I wrote this for all the side kicks.

The Savior
The Chosen One
I'm not the Princess
The Damsel
The One to be Saved
I am the Background
The Helper
The Follower
It's not my story
I'm no one important
No one to care about
No one to look at twice
So don't look
I'll disappear
And then no one will Help the Hero
No one will Tell his Tale
No one will Save the Savior
So I think I'll stay
Here in the Background

This is very good, and so so true! it has a great appeal to it, but i don't think it has a deeper meaning which i personally think is a good quality for poems to have
