The Trees wept their sweet sorrow,
Caressing my thoughts with their mournful song.
They tell a story of their lost brothers and sisters,
Dead because of my kind.
They surrounded me,
All whispering their great tragedy
Moaning with greif and despair.
To hear their cries of unhappiness
Rids me of all joy,
For it was the saddest thing I've ever heard
The day the trees sang to me.
