• My wings will spread far and wide
    On the morrow,
    Encircling the land and
    Casting feathery shadow.

My wings will spread far and wide,
    The tips touching the stars.
    My feathers will brush against
    The dreams of the universe.

My wings will spread far and wide,
    Leaving no stone unturned.
They will search for the smallest being
And hold it close to my heart.

My wings will spread far and wide
Until they can stretch no more.
    Within their span exists
    Light, darkness, good, evil.

My wings have reached the limit
At the very edge of the dimensions.
    My wings, their purpose fulfilled,
    Shed their feathers.

My wings have spread far and wide,
Leaving no soul untouched nor no stone unturned,
And in their conquest have transformed
From snow white to pitch black.

My wings are mere shells of their former glory,
The soft plumes fallen over the cosmos.
Only now do my subjects gaze towards the sky
And see the ruins of my legacy.
