This is a comprehensive list made for the use of this guild. There have been a lot of disagreements of spells that students should be able (or not to be able) to do depending on their year. These are non-negotiable!

Colloportus (Seals a door- counter to alohomora)

Coloromuto (Changes an object's color)

Colormuto Multiplex (Colour Flash Charm) (1st Year) A variant of the Colour-Change Charm, used to make the item it is cast on flash different colours.

Meaning behind the name The word is derived from Latin, cochlea meaning "snail", and fors (a suffix often used in transfiguration spells) for "chance, luck, fortune".
Effects of the spell It is used to transform a snail into a teapot.
Wand movements required to preform properly The spell itself does not cast any light or noise, but strictly transforms a snail into a teapot. The wand movement necessary is to wave the wand thrice and speak the incantation.
History behind the spell This is one of the most basic Transfiguration spells and is commonly practiced in all beginner Transfiguration classes.

Meaning behind the name Latin for "it must be heard"
Effects of the spell As the tip of the wand travels across a line of text, a disembodied voice reads it aloud. A perfectly-cast spell is read in the dry, tired voice of Ben Stein, but if not cast properly it runs the gamut from Gilbert Gottfried to Fran Drescher.
Wand movements required to preform properlyTap the wand twice and lift slightly as if conducting an orchestra. Then, drag the tip of the wand across the letters.
Is there a distance requirement? The piece of writing must be close to the caster
Are the effects lasting? The sound is produced once unless the wizard retraces the same words.

Effects of the spell Removes the freshest ink mark placed on a surface while leaving any marks under or around it.

History behind the spell This spell was created by an exceptionally brilliant but horribly clumsy wizard after he'd lost his notes on spells one too many times by spilling ink on them.

Canon


Adhaero - Superglue hex. Sticks the victim or an object to a surface with the strength of superglue. The spell lasts for up to an hour or until a countercharm is cast. (unlike the permanent sticking charm, can be cast on people). The spell is not generally known, but is found in the volume of works of Theobold the Thin. Players *must* discover the spell, or be taught by someone who discovered it before using this spell.

Aurumflamma(Golden Fire Spell) Produces a spurt of golden fire capable of breaking targets (such as wands).

Wand movements required to perform properly A sweeping downward motion with the wand, followed by a sharp flick up and parry to the left (as in the fencing technique) followed by the incantation.
History behind the spell Inspiration for this hex came from the Greek Mythological monster, Medusa, and was named in her esteem.

Meaning behind the name Concussus meaning shaking, vibration, earthquake, rage, and fury. Intrusus meaning “intruder.”
Effects of the spell Devised to eradicate unwelcomed visitors of a home or vicinity. A rolling earthquake will vibrate the house/surroundings, the walls will wave and the floorboards will slap and thrash and fly, all of this, to physically knock off and throw back the unwelcome visitor out the door.
Wand movements required to perform properly A long, quick slash from side to side over the vicinity followed by a very soft and delicate point in the direction of the center of the room.
History behind the spell Remington was always a paranoid man, he discovered this spell in his youth shortly after graduating Hogwarts and on his explorations through Europe, Asia, and Egypt. Being in so many new places, he’d learned quickly not to trust people who seemed trustworthy.

Are the effects lasting? Yes, the caster must recite the finite charm to end this curse.
