Perhaps the first major change that Dante made this year was the fact that he attempted to keep his eyes open for most of the time as a Keeper. It certainly made catching the quaffle a lot easier, as in the split second Gid had attempted to score a goal and the boy had made his decision, Dante managed to catch the quaffle without letting it roll past his fingers or without missing the whole ball altogether. Grinning from ear to ear as the boy took possession of the quaffle, Dante looked around the field, eager to pass it off to a teammate and keep the game rolling. Tossing it to Arianna who seemed to be the closest.

Groaning audibly when the gold keeper caught the quaffle; he had hoped for better for his teammate, but at this point, there was nothing else that could be done. At the sound of cracking bats, he glanced around to make sure none were on his tail before he skyrocketed across the field towards Arianna hoping to make a quick steal.

Before she could switch to the offensive she noticed the same beater aiming to hit Gideon again. Axel stole from Arianna, so he followed the older boy. Arianna stole right back from Axel, and that meant it was his turn to try and steal. Tsking at himself for having lost the quaffle so quickly, Axel whipped around on his broom to chase after the thief in question. It was one of the sixth years, Ana, Ari, or something; he couldn't really remember. As he gained on her trail, one of his teammates, that young one, bolted in for a steal but missed. Axel zipped in from the opposite direction hoping to steal from Arianna.

✮ Sɛƈօռɖ Yɛαʀ Gʀʏʄʄɨռɖօʀ ✮ Gid missed the steal, but Axel did too. He kept pace with Arianna, biting his inner lip in concentration. He wasn't sure if he should try again, but something in his gut told him to at least give it one more shot. The girl was much older, and probably had lots of practice, whereas this was his first time even trying to play Quidditch. Maybe he'd get lucky? He missed again, but that's not too much of a surprise there. He hadn't played quidditch in almost four years, he was rusty as hell, especially compared to the first string players, like Arianna. But, he bolted in for another steal and hoped for better luck this time.
