Archades "Archie" Montague Firstie - Ravenclaw House
Archades jogged slightly to keep up with the nurse's hurried pace, though he could easily understand why she was in a hurry. "I'm not really sure ma'am. This Slytherin boy was outside, and then he suddenly started hyperventilating for no reason. Then he collapsed, and couldn't breathe at all."

Slip out the back before they know you were there
and at the worst you'll see nobody cares, you don't want to be around when it all goes down... William Dante Nott the Third First year, Slytherin The morning sun had begun to peak its head over the rolling hills, but Tay couldn't see it from his dormitory. Cold breaths blew, flurries of snow had dropped from the northern skies and because of it, Tay bundled himself in his enchanted robes, which thickened with wool at the declining temperature. He had never been one for breakfast, so he only strolled into the Great Hall long enough to wait for his owl, Drogo, and the paper that came with him. He left the Great Hall, his nose buried deep in the Daily Prophet. And he was a bit shocked, to say the least. Dark magic arising in Germany? He wondered if his uncle had any part in this, Remington Nott, an infamous name in the seemy underbelly of the wizarding world, with too much information stored, and not enough galleons to soothe him. Tay had always had a connection with his uncle that he did not have with his father, a dark connection, if anything. But as Tay continued to read on, he was more and more confident that this had nothing to do with his uncle. Still, he couldn't help but wonder why the name 'Phelps' left such a lasting impression on him, had he met the man? He couldn't be sure, but he wouldn't have been surprised in the least if he had. In that moment, he wondered if any one else had gotten their issue of the Daily Prophet. ╔══════════════╗ Location: Ground Floor with The Daily Prophet Injuries: Thoughts:'...dark wizards, again?' ╚══════════════╝ ..even heroes know when to be scared.

The stairwells were only just waking from their artificial slumber, their enchantments groggy in the rising sun's light. Their movement was minimal so the quick-paced Ravenclaw could rush from her tower common room with ease and little detour. Red pigtails, trademark for the short girl, bouncing on her cloaked shoulders as she flew done flights at a time.
Nothing was in her possession apart from her billowing cloak and school uniform. Blue and bronze crest bearing the eagle of her house proudly displayed on her chest. To most, her hurry might be interpreted as a growing hunger and a run down to the Great Hall for the breakfast feast. To others, perhaps more familiar with her house cliches or her own studious habits might think her about to bang on the door of the Staff Room for assistance. In either case, whatever observers had these assumptions blossoming in their minds would be wrong. In fact, Phinelia was rushing down toward the kitchens. Toward the Hufflepuff Common Room, to be precise. Her hope was to catch her friend; Jane Doyle, in front before she proceeded to the Great Hall to dine. Phi had held a worry in her chest since her physical reunion with the girl. Jane seemed a bit taken aback from her, as if she had said something wrong or acted in some uncharacteristic way. Even during their first indoor class together - Transfiguration - she had sat apart from her. If there was a cause to all these things that Phi had missed in her countless mental run overs of all the encounters they shared, she needed to speak with Jane herself. It hurt Phi to think that perhaps she was mislead or offended the sweet Hufflepuff girl in some way.
Various portraits and even one ghost watched her with mild, half-asleep curiosity and surprise at her speed and purpose. Passing the famous painting of the bowl of fruit and down further into the bowels of the dungeons down which she knew the Common Room resided. But with a sudden skid, she wondered whether she had made a correct turn. Her dark eyes blinked and she stopped momentarily, seeing if there was some sign for her.╚══════════════════╝

xxxxxxxxxx █████████████████ Muggle Born Hufflepuff ████████████Jane opened up the door and walked out of the common room not looking up from the book in her hand. She took a bite of a a piece of chocolate her mother had sent with her to school. She glanced up and jumped, dropping her chocolate. She growled slightly looking at the chocolate on the ground with a displeased look. "Why must that always happen to me?" She muttered thinking of the incident last winter with her book dropping from the bridge. She heaved a sigh and looked up to see Phi.
Her eyes lit up. "Oh Phi, hello. You startled me." She said looking at the blood red pig tails on the girls head. She gave one more glance at her lost chocolate the closed her book and put it under her arm. She straightened her bumble bee tie, as she called it. "So, what are you doing in the lowly first corridor on such a nice morning?" She asked imitating almost every teacher that every caught her inside when she wasn't in the class. She had turned passed the pillar which Phi had stopped not far from. The girl was distracted however, by a book, to Phi's amusement. The Ravenclaw watched with a growing smile on her face but reflected disappointment when the chocolate fell. "Oh, I am sorry! Was that my fault?" she quickly intercepted, the sweet looked home made. And such a present was terribly wasted if it was in fact her fault for startling her friend. A chuckle could not be withheld by the guilt however when the Raveclaw picked up on the Hufflepuff's clear imitation of a teacher stalking the halls, questioning skippers. "I was looking for you." she said with a little jump in her tone, smile broadening still, as if the fact was meant to be obvious. Though, that lighthearted feeling suddenly felt deadened when she realized she had no way to casually enter into the worry that was burdening her. How to bring it up and perhaps speak with Jane on the subject. How to even check whether Phi's suspicions about Jane's wavering favor to her was a true fact.╚══════════════════╝

xxxxxxxxxx █████████████████ Muggle Born Hufflepuff ████████████Jane smiled broadly and giggled slightly. "Oh your fine, there are plenty more back in my room. Mum loves to send me things she cooks, especially her fudge." She said thinking happily about her mother slaving over a hot stove even when she knew Jane didn't much care for chocolate. She was certainly a remarkable woman, even for a muggle.
She started to walked towards the Great Hall. "Should we head down for breakfast?" She asked then stole a look at Phi, she wasn't following. "Are you alright Phinelia?" Jane asked in an obvious worried tone. She could tell something was bothering her at least a little. Made by Purpleinatorooc; new format is being madeJane Abigail DoyleHer

Jane's second inquiry snapped her back harshly to reality and she looked up with a jerk of her head. Eyes a bit wild as she was ripped from her distant mind's thoughts. She blinked and swallowed awkwardly once she realized that the opportunity presented between them was ideal. The worry in Jane's tone had hit her harder that it was intended to and she opened her lips, brimmed with full lips, twice. Opening and closing with no sound escaping on her command. Her tightening fingers had found the hem of her black skirt and began to tug at it, the severe division of her logic and emotion waging war inside her once more. The dominant side of her; the logic, yelled for he simply brush off Jane's anxiety and say there was nothing wrong. Let the situation unravel itself silently between them with mute gestures, not easily misunderstood words. However, the second side of her. The one she was working hard to bring out from its underdevelopment since she first began to realize she had become friends with the two boys and the girl, encouraged her to speak. Phi was not affectionate in any sense of the word, she was a complete stranger to the art of friendship-making and when this first problem arose, her mind had blown it to ridiculous proportions in her worry. Not Phi had to let some of the air out and confront this fear or attachment that had haunted her since she was a child - the thing that alienated her the most. Even more than her blood's magic. "Jane," she started quietly and she started awkwardly, "Have I, er, said or...or done anything wrong? You seemed...sad."╚══════════════════╝

xxxxxxxxxx █████████████████ Muggle Born Hufflepuff ████████████Jane gave a strange sort of look and felt a tad uncomfortable. "Oh...that" She said. She almost sounded disgusted. Jane had hoped to avoid the subject. "I don't know, it's just..." Jane stumbled over the words, she didn't know what to say. She felt her eyes tearing slightly. "Several things I suppose. It's my house, no one cares about a Hufflepuff. You all have brains, and courage, and cunning and then there's me. Hufflepuff. No one cares. I'm not special" Jane sighed. She hated telling people her feelings, especially when they were as stupid as hers. She had gotten over being placed in Hufflepuff. She loved it but there was still something missing. "The nightmares aren't helping much either" she mumbled. Made by Purpleinatorooc; new format is being madeJane Abigail DoyleHer

The truthful words flowing from her like on a string without her consent, "The House of loyalty, friendship, pride and understanding. The best people come from Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw is full of those deemed smart, but anyone can read a couple books. Gryffindor is said to hold courage, but most of them just seem thought and careless. Whilst Slytherins seem highly selfish. Everyone can be clever if they want something bad enough." At around the point of Slytherin Phi began to realize that the words she was hearing and agreeing with wholeheartedly were coming from her own mouth. Her voice had sounded distant and unlike her - strangely buoyant and pressing as compared to her quiet, meek tone. Her words began to slow and turn to her mousy style of speech but then she realized that was she had said without thought was what she actually felt - her emotion had caused her to say it against her logic. And there was nothing but truth hidden in her stark words. "You can't become a truly good person through books, pranks or selfishness. It seems like Hufflepuff is the only House you can't trick into belonging to." In her speech and strange battle with herself to say it all, all she could offer toward the mention of nightmares possibly plaguing her friend was a worried flash of her eyes. First Colton and now her dear Jane. It seemed her friends were with holding demons she desperately wanted to help with.╚══════════════════╝

xxxxxxxxxx █████████████████ Muggle Born Hufflepuff ████████████Jane's smile reappeared on her face though it was not as bright as usual. She did believe Phi, in fact those were some of the most emotion filled words she had ever heard the Ravenclaw speak. That had been a goal at the beginning of the year, to get Phi to show her emotions more. The girl always seemed to enclosed from the world somehow. "I know, and Hufflepuff is wonderful, I love it but just at the carriages..." She trailed off, not really sure what she was saying. Jane's mind now dwelling less on her house and more on the nightmares but she wasn't sure if she should bring them up or not, she didn't want to bother Phi with her useless problems. It caused a ripple of chills to run along to being of the Ravenclaw second year as she heard Jane mention to event they both experienced at the carriages. Perhaps two separate experiences.
Phi's memory was mainly focused on Colton as it became evident to all present that Jane's regard for the Thestrals had brought a deeply consuming nightmare to the boy's silver eyes. The pain she saw flash in his eyes had frightened her form her physical shell - seeing the strong, stern boy she had grown to know and recognize as a rock of strength and fortitude start to shatter. Something about the crash she saw in his foundation was hauntingly similar to her and her mind could once again not repress the terrified, shattered face of Alfons Flint. It passed through her mind just as the pain passed through Colton's. Both eclipsing whatever separate experience Jane might have been subject to during those pounding two seconds. Phinelia now looked at Jane with strange, alienated eyes. Mutely asking for any answers the beautiful Hufflepuff was willing to give out of her own power and decision.╚══════════════════╝

Grand Staircase/ Main Floor Ronyo Storm - Slytherin second Year Not until Ronyo reached the main floor of the Grand Staircase did the boy’s hands come away from his wands. The odd presence had not followed him but that did not mean he should be any less cautious. There were things in the Wizarding world that likely would make his senses confuse themselves or give him a false impression and that would be the time to be the most alert. There was some odd things going on in the school even for Hogwarts and most of them did not give Ronyo a pleasant feeling. Now that he was in what could be relative safety with so many people and professors closer Ronyo could reflect on the great new find he had discovered. They had their suit of armor which meant all they needed to do now was find a secure place to meet and begin working on…well whatever it is they would decide were the biggest problems facing the school. It was that thought process that led Ronyo to start thinking about how the group could be effective outside of taking on the large agitators like Blaire and Tay. There were always small problems going on in Hogwarts many of them brought on by those who thought themselves better or smarter than others. They still wanted to remain anonymous in who they were but that didn’t mean they could not advertise in some way. Ideas were flooding Ronyo and he knew he needed to find Phi and Colton…he just had to figure out where they were.

яεġrετ┃ηστнιηġ ♦ ғεαя┃ησ σηε ♦ ταkε prιdε ιη┃εvεяyτнιηġColton whistled loudly as he swept through the inner doors of the castle, his Firebolt II slung lazily over his shoulder. Quidditch tryouts were next week, and despite that he was enrolled in Advanced Flying, he still felt inclined to get in as much practice as possible. Approaching the the Grand Staircase, he spotted Phi and Jane chatting seriously, so he slowed he pace to ensure he didn't pop in at the wrong time. "Ladies." He greeted politely, offering a slight bow and a patient smile. Sensing the depth of their conversation, Colt felt as if he were possibly unwelcome as an awkward silence settled between the three.
Smiling wider, he forced his gray eyes up the stairs and was relieved to see Ronyo descending from above. "Ron! Hey, Ronyo!" He raised his voice to make sure his attempt didn't go unnoticed. Meeting the Slytherin halfway to give the girls a few minutes to finish up their conversation, Colton twisted his broomstick in his rough palms. "Any luck?" He inquired, feeling another ping of remorse for choosing Quidditch over accompanying Ronyo on a search of the castle for a willing - and faithful - suit of armor.

Grand Staircase/ Main Floor Ronyo Storm - Slytherin second Year Seeing Phi and Jane as Ronyo came down the stairs had the boy laughing a bit inside as he was worried he would be spending more time searching the school grounds for them. Now he just needed to find…Colton. As the boy came through the door with his broom over his back and showing signs of a windblown look Ronyo remembered he had gone to Quidditch practice. The more times things seemed to just fall into place the more Ronyo believed that the school was either pushing them to complete their task or they were truly destined to form this group. Smiling at Colton at the question of their knight surveillance Ronyo just looked up the stairs for moment and nodded a bit. “I did indeed find us a knight of noble qualities who wishes to help us,” Ronyo wanted to introduce them all to the armor but he remembered the odd feeling he had while up there, “I have a feeling someone else was up there but I cannot guess who. I will introduce you all to him at another time but now I have a few other things I think we need to start looking for. Now that we have our Knight on the sixth floor we need a place to meet that no one else but members can even reach, and a way to contact each other quicker than running through the school.” Looking at the group standing around him he looked to Phi and Jane who seemed to be having something going on. The group had talked about Jane being the fourth member and their Hufflepuff and Ronyo guessed now was the best time to make it official. Seeing the two girls were engaged in conversation Ronyo thought it best to pair the duo up for a task while Ronyo and Colton took the other. “Phi, could you and Jane look for the room? There are not many second years that know the history and area of Hogwarts like you do Phi. Me and Colton can work on the communication, and I may have an idea were to go for that.”
