addaellis Characters Involved: Sonora Li, Squid, Groundskeeper, and any first years that wanted to join up. (expecting not all explicitly confirmed: Jonah Lane, Iggy Hepburn, Vinny Cloutier, Kam Hepburn, Gideon Edgeworth, Vespera Salazar, Aeryn Quinlan, Priscilla Richardson-Connelly, Charlotte Richardson-Connelly, Stella Connelly) Usernames of each character, respectively: addaellis, CaraMiaKitty and Trickblues, Kungfudemoness, The Forgotten Weasley, Stefan Lee Salvatore, Miss GryffindorK, murrelecreuset. Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Most approved and everyone listed expressed interest in the premise which was listed pretty similarly. What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: The first years invite their family and new friends to a hang out some weekend. The plot would take place in "The Forbidden Forest, "the Lake", and Surrounding Area" forum areas. They meet up as a picnic on the lawn (probably the Black Lake thread) where they run into the Giant Squid, then stroll towards the Forest until they run into Groundskeeper Callum. (Covered Bridge > Stone Circle> Groundskeeper's Hut) Something seasonal could also happen, like a short snowball fight at the stone circle if it's winter. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? 2042 school year What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) A few kids might decide to break the rules or sneak off into the Forbidden Forest. If they get caught they might get detention or lost house points. Why are you interested in doing this idea? It'd be an opportunity for some of the students to meet up and hang out. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? I was running off of the map provided in the main thread and this map for a path option. Supes late, sorry! And not entirely sure what year it currently is, so if this was for the previous year --sorry again!-- y'all can go ahead and do it next school year instead! Approved by Essy!

Characters Involved: Kendall Saunders, Agnes Maura MacDonald, Amata Harlowe, Timothy Steele Usernames of each character, respectively: Cara MiaKitty, Fuzzymelonlord, Diamond Wales Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Yes What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: Kendall was assigned female at birth, but is actually a boy. Being that he is, in fact, a boy, he's going to run into a snag trying to go to bed his first night in the castle, in that he will not be able to get into his dorm room, since the stairs are enchanted to not let boys into the girl's rooms. Maura will notify Amata, who will come to investigate, come to some conclusions about what's going on, and gently question Kendall about his gender identity. Kendall doesn't like change, so he's going to insist that of course he's a girl, why wouldn't he be a girl, and generally be quite obstinate and distressed about the whole situation. Meanwhile, Amata has to figure out where the heck he's going to sleep, since he is insisting he isn't a boy and refuses to sleep in the boy's dorms as a result, but cannot access the girl's dorm. The issue will be taken to Steele, discussions will be had. Eventually it will be decided that the spells on the stairs are archaic and misogynistic anyway, and not really preventing any teenage shenanigans besides, so they'll be removed altogether. Kendall, in the meantime, is going to be shuffled over to Amata's old rooms until the spells are removed, which will probably take a while since they're centuries old and were put in place by some very powerful witches and wizards. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? After the sorting feast What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) No one gets hurt, but Kendall is understandably shaken due to having his worldview and sense of self called into question. We're also changing something established in Harry Potter canon, but nothing especially major. Boys will be able to sneak into the girl's dorms, but realistically that won't change much. It's just making them the same as girl/boy dorms at muggle schools. Why are you interested in doing this idea? It opens the guild up to finally solve some issues that crop up when we have people who want to play trans characters, makes the guild more easily inclusive. This question has come up a few times with regards to trans/nonbinary characters but since they've never been AFAB it's not been an issue that had to be dealt with in the immediate. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? Dia and I discussed the changes to the stairs protocol together and agreed on this decision. I'm not writing up a plot all by my lonesome to change things. Just. For the record.

Characters Involved: Esmeralda "Mera" Mortemer, Aurora Devereux Usernames of each character, respectively: Julian Galaksylph, murruelecreuset Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Yes What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: Ever since an incident struck Mera's family three years ago, she still refused to move on from it. She thought that it shouldn't be something to move on from, after all. As a result, she resents her family for doing exactly That, as well as keeping her in the dark and making her look so fragile for them to be honest to her. Because of that, Mera has grown obsessed in becoming a strong witch just to prove something, especially in dueling; trying to study spells ahead of the class. However... since she got really impatient in just researching about the more advanced spells and waiting for the teacher to tackle the lesson, Mera decided to practice them on her own. With or WITHOUT adult supervision. The practice backfired and injured Mera in the process (not severe but still injured0, but thankfully Aurora witnessed it and rushed to help her bestfriend Mera, suddenly feeling insulted about being helped, snapped at Aurora in anger. Then, she ended up crying and ranting about how her family was so ready to risk their lives and still kept her in the dark about it. Aurora, who was at first shocked at her lashing, came to be understanding and dropped her usual mask, talking to Mera with honest feelings when she usually didn't do that to everyone else. After that, Aurora will convince Mera to help her and thus that will develop their friendship even further. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? Fall 2043 What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) Mera gets injured and would probably get detention for unsupervised spellcasting. But that's it? Why are you interested in doing this idea? Mera has a really big complex that she hated being pitied or helped, to the point that she ended up being self-destructive over her problem of not knowing how to move on. In murrue's part, Aurora spent her years wearing a mask infront of everybody, and being herself with her bestfriend is a small step forward for her development to be herself. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? Nah?

Characters Involved: Byron Lockwood, Giselle Scarlet, Jason Hill Usernames of each character, respectively: Cara MiaKitty, Fuzzymelonlord, Diamond Wales Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Yes What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: Poor, poor Byron is just... so stressed out. School and his family and general life stuff has gotten to the poor boy, and he doesn't have any appropriate outlets for it because everything he could do to get out his frustrations is considered beneath him. So, he's going to do what rich people have been doing for centuries, and start trying to drink his problems away. He's going to find himself hiding out in the kitchens, which he likes to do because the House-Elves are better company than most people, and notice a bottle of wine sitting out that the elves are using to cook with. After a solid five seconds of consideration, he is going to take said bottle and start drinking it. And be very drunk very quickly, because he's only fourteen and his alcohol tolerance is terrible. And then will begin doing this with increasing regularity, until one night he decides to straight up take a couple bottles with him to his dorm. Momo, who has by now figured out that something is going on with him, is going to sneak into his dorm while he's out one day, and find the bottles. In a completely idiotic attempt to save him from himself, she's going to drink all the wine left, and get caught in the boy's dorm drunk off her arse. She will attempt to say it was her own wine, but she was caught in Byron's dorm room, and was obviously going through his things, so it'll be pretty obvious whose wine it actually was. Professor Hill will be informed, both of them get into SO MUCH TROUBLE, and Byron gets to look forward to going home for the Summer, not. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? Immediately What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) Momo and Byron get DETENTION FOREVER. Byron is going to be in massive amounts of trouble with his father. He's basically going to get the 'get your ish together or we'll disown you' talk. And be grounded from everything forever. And watched like a hawk all the time when he's home. Why are you interested in doing this idea? Because someone needed to find a sensible way to do a teenage drinking plot around here. Also like, Byron's a little whiny, I wanna take his melodramatic arse up to 11. And this will further establish how very uneven his relationship with Momo is, which will be nice in the future when I'm deciding if I want to let him repent, or take that step over the edge of the cliff and fall into 'Full On Arsehole Trench'. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? Let mah boi drink?

Characters Involved: Tsubaki Yuko, Raymond Yuko, Caleb Devereux Usernames of each character, respectively: murruelecreuset Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Yes What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: After Tsubaki ratted out her brother to Saio, a search went out for him. Raymond finding out that his sister betrayed him decided to pay her a visit in Hogsmeade. Around Christmas time Raymond would come to Hogsmeade to meet up with Tsubaki. This time however was a surprise to her, as she was pulled behind a building. Raymond quickly calls her out for her lack of loyalty, leading to him sharing that authorities were looking for him. He then threatens Tsubaki, saying if she ever told anyone he came to see her there would be consequences. Leaving Tsubaki with nothing more then a gift, he leaves to go back into hiding. Returning to the Slytherin common room, Tsubaki decides to open her Christmas gift from Raymond. Not realizing it had been cursed, it became apparent the moment she touched it. Suddenly reeling in pain, she screamed before passing out her hair turning white as she hit the floor. Caleb who happened to be entering the room at the time heard the screaming stop and went over to investigate. Seeing it was Tsubaki he rushed over to help her. Seeing her state, he attempted to wake her. Being unsuccessful he noted the gift, using a detention spell on the item it was confirmed that the item in question was cursed. Carefully wrapping it back up Caleb rushed Tsubaki to the hospital wing where she would be taken care of. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? Winter 2043 (Before the Christmas Break) What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) Tsubaki will be left unconscious and badly weakened. She’ll also end up with white hair (not so much a drawback but if you ask her it totally is). Why are you interested in doing this idea? Tsubaki needs a reason to waver on her brother’s loyalty to her and a reason to question his sanity even further. Plus, I’ve always played this character with white hair and have a FC all lined up for it. Also, it wouldn’t hurt for Caleb to show he cared about someone. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? Come on White Hair who could argue ouo

Characters Involved: Rhydian and Gwyneth McHalen, Madam Montague, Adalaide Whitethorne, Timothy Steele Usernames of each character, respectively: Essy ze Ninja, Cara MiaKitty, Diamond Wales Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Yeeeeee What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: Last year, Rhydian and Gwyneth got sick. Everyone thinks it was just a really nasty case of the Black Cat Flu turned Pneumonia (or something equal parts magical and aggressive sickness) anyway, they were in the hospital wing through all of first year and didn't get better until they finally got home during the summer. Throughout the following school years, the twins are going to seemingly get sick rather often. And during so, be in the care of their grandmother, Madam Montague, who had also taken care of them during the first year much to their parent's annoyance. But no one will really think anything of it at first. While sick, they'll be forced to better get to know the grandmother they were never allowed to see. Madam Montague is going to take a shine to Gwyneth. In either third or fourth year, Gwyn is going to get very sick. So sick, that her parents forcefully pull her out of school during holidays and take her to St. Mungos where the healers can't seem to pinpoint what is wrong with her--though she does make a speedy recovery in their care. During this time, Gwyneth is going to try and broker a peace between her parents and grandmother, though it fails completely. Back at school, the more time she seems to spend with her grandmother, the weaker she feels. So Gwyn spends more and more time in the infirmary with her grandmother, trying to feel better. It's all going to come to a head when Adalaide Whitethorne becomes suspicious of the twin's illness. Ada also notices some of her rare ingredient stock has disappeared and wonders if Montague might be the connection there. Now curious, Ada is going to catch Mrs. Montague in the act of contaminating a supply of medicine with poison. They argue, Montague is delusional in her claims that she's only helping the child and Ada promptly informs the Headmaster everything. Montague is fired from her position and turned over to the ministry for child endangerment. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? If approved, it will already somewhat have started (via piggybacking off of the twins being normal sick their first year, which would now make it an induced sickness instead of random.) And will continue throughout the next couple of school years, coming to an end in Gwyneth's fourth or fifth year. What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) Gwyneth has to deal with Munchausen syndrome by proxy, in which a loved one with a mental health problem makes up an injury or illness for someone in their care, as a way to garner love, affection and/or attention. So she'll be sick on and off a lot. Then Montague will be fired from her position and spend some time in Azkaban where they hopefully have Mind Healers employed by now. Why are you interested in doing this idea? It gives Gwyneth a bit more depth as she gets close to her grandmother, and then is revealed that the person she wanted to trust was lying all along. Plus, it gives me an in-guild chance to get rid of Mrs. Montague and make her an NPC. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? Nupe

Characters Involved: Orion Lane, Jonah Lane, Sonora Li Usernames of each character, respectively: Trickblues, Addaellis Have each of the above listed members fully agreed to the following plot?: Yes What is your plot idea? Please explain in great detail: Jonah is at the lake skipping stones when his pet owl, Circe, swoops in with a letter from his brother Orion. Orion wrote to Jonah to warn him in advance that once he got home from Hogwarts, their parents were going to drop the bomb that they were getting divorced, and Orion wanted to let Jonah know ahead of time so he could be ready for it. Jonah doesn't respond to the information well--since he hasn't been home to witness the buildup, the news comes completely out of left field for him and he's left angry that he can't do anything about it and scared of the thought that he and his siblings could possibly get separated in the aftermath. He crumbles up the letter, throws it to the ground, and incendios it just in time for Sonora to catch him upset. Sonora asks him what's going on and Jonah, currently angry at the world, tells her everything about the letter and how his parents are awful for taking so long to decide something like this without even considering their children. Initially he thinks it's his father leaving, not being able to handle two magical children, and he expresses how he blames himself for being such a mess growing up that Marco must have had it by the time it came for Rhea's magic to start appearing. Jonah cries for the first time in front of someone that isn't his own mother, and Sonora manages to calm him down and reassure him it will be alright. The following Summer Jonah moves with his Mom, Orion, and Rhea to her father's old house in Godric's Hollow. Jonah comes to the conclusion Delia was the one to initiate the divorce since she obviously had been keeping the house as a fail-safe, and their relationship will suffer as a result. When do you plan for this idea to go into effect? Spring 2044, last week of school. What are the idea's drawbacks? (e.g. Does anyone get killed? Is Hogwarts going to have to suffer? etc.) Jonah's going to develop some insecurities about his magic and blame himself for the divorce, much like his sister. His relationship with his mom gets rocky since he thinks she's the one that decided to leave and take everyone away from Marco. He will also be more broody going into the next school year, but he will eventually get back to his usual self after a long chat with his mother. Why are you interested in doing this idea? Jonah can't be sunshine and daisies forever. He's got some growing up to do, and this is one of the first steps in that direction. The event will also serve to bond Jonah and Sonora that much closer together, giving their friendship a deeper connection. Anything else you would like to share about this idea? This is a continuation from the plot request on the MoM Guild, here.

Nupe ACCEPTED
