Yia turned to the third year and stared at him, it wasn't that this was a bad house, but it will be torturous for him for the next six years. At least while Roi is in this house, "It's not that its bad... Its just... My brother is in this house... You know him." He said pointing to the pale skinned and red haired girl, :Roi." He said staring at her as his hair turned pale. He turned back to Chase and answered his question, "Yiaraw.... Yiaraw Noinnei, but I go by Yia." He said holding a hand out to shake chases hair.

Is he above the second year?" it that was the case she would most likely not know anything of him. Roi was not a word that run any bells in her mind.

Chase BalfordHogwarts Student: Third Year, Ravenclaw Theme of the Moment | Thoughts: Well, well….Oh well, food and ladies!… It seemed that his help wasn’t needed as the boy suddenly brightened. Apparently he wasn’t the only one that fancied the redhead. Though it seemed her name more than her apparence that brought the excitement out of the lad. He raised his eyes to look at the girl again as he turned her name over in his mind. Was she famous in some way that he wasn’t aware of that this child would greet her like she was the next Potter?
Nothing that he could recall was jumping into his front cortex so he matched and exchanged puzzled expressions with the girl and looked back to the boy. “Why? Is she the sixth Weird Sister and isn’t telling us?” Though really, whatever it was at least it brightened the kids mood. The Feast would have been a total toss if there had been a first year sobbing at the end of the table.
Chase looked down the table…Roi…Roi…that sounded familiar. Though Chase often didn’t commit most names to memory if they didn’t come equipped with pretty faces. But then Chase remembered a shifty boy that seemed to hang around with the young Nott boy. Roi seemed like his name, though he couldn’t say that he had ever spoken to the boy.
Turning back, he smiled and shook Yia’s hand. “Family quarrel, eh? No worries. If he bothers you just let us know. We take care of each other in our houses.”
Chase couldn’t understand why being in the same house as his brother would be such a tragedy but then again he didn’t have any brothers or sisters to compare. He was actually surprising himself with his warm welcome to the kid, generally he preferred to keep to his own fun. But still, he did believe what he said. He would help someone in need. And he didn’t like drama in his own house. Maybe he should get to know this Roi character a little better and see what was going on between the two.

Yia sat back down as he heard what she said and looked away, this scared him, not only did she not know Roi but she was in danger, "Do you know Woil?" He asked the upperclassman, she had to know at least Woil. However he could never get the answer from her as he noticed his older brother getting up. He couldn't see who was behind that mask from this distance but he had a feeling it was Roi... "Uh oh..." He said as his older brother's body began to move down the Great Hall towards Yia's scared face.

Ears were deaf to the humorous options voiced by the third year boy, though her head did nod sternly when he spoke of the Raveclaws keeping close to one another. She felt it was a loyalty existed in every House regardless of most rumors and assumptions, but in the given situation she truly felt connected to all the Ravenclaws surrounding her. That feeling was dispersed just as it was created in one breath at the mention of the only Ravenclaw she felt bitterness to. Eyes narrowed further as the young boy's mouth formed the name Woil. "Yes." She said simply, thoughts rushing to the list her trio of friends had created. Rushing toward the goal they were fighting for and the many theories and suspicions that had coursed through her skull thorugh the duration of the summer vacation. Her dark eyes followed Yia's and landed on the very person who fueled many of her search attempts in the Raines' library. ╚══════════════════╝

Chase BalfordHogwarts Student: Third Year, Ravenclaw Theme of the Moment | Thoughts: Well, well….Oh well, food and ladies!… Chase watched the interaction between the two with a skeptical eyebrow. There was obviously something going on below the surface. Then came the whispered warning and Yia’s frightened looks towards the very boy that Chase had been picturing. Woil…Roi…whatever his name was. Either way, it seemed that was the source of the boys worriment but then he was heading off towards him.
As he left and whispered a farewell to the redhead, Chase’s eyebrows knotted. He watched the boy leave, displaying every sign of someone suffering from an abusive situation. It was sad, to be sure, but not all sad situations could be handled for the person. If the boys brother was bullying him, the boy was going to have to stand up on his own to make his brother listen. Of course if it was something worse than that….help might be needed.
Either way, Chase didn’t let real life bog down his fun. He mentally logged away the note to talk to the older brother and get a read on him and pushed the odd encounter aside. His eyes flicked up to Phi. Towards the end she seemed to be part of the crazy conversation rather than just listening to it. As though she completely understood what the boy had been talking about.
“A lot on your mind?” Chase asked. He had an adventurous curiosity and usually felt the need to pry until he was told otherwise. And then pried in secret. Something he supposed that he got from his uncle. Tenacity ran in their family.

The warning was indirect but held more meaning to her than she could understand - with the boy's simple words she instantly knew he was involved. Whatever curses and demons had played with the Woil boy on the night of the fire were clearly a bigger threat than Phi and her trio had suspected. The wild look in the boy's eyes and the pure, animalistic fear was all Phi needed to have her spine run with a chill at the thought of the possible powers that were in play. Woil and... this Roi had just placed themselves a notch higher on the girl's list. But she would not be brash. There was much preparation to be made before she investigated further. She could not dive in and search for something that was not present yet, but at the first sign of worry, she would return. Phi only glanced at the young boy as he walked towards Woil and instead turned to the Chase boy. Drawn by his words, she blinked. He seemed unaware of the exchange that had just occurred - this did not mean she could be relaxed around him. But she did offer him a smile. "I suppose." she answered his inquiry quietly, noticing how intriguing the upperclassman was. ╚══════════════════╝

These songs in my head: My final year.... Oh what turbulent emotions: Calm, nostalgic The spirits that stand with me: My housemates Quietly watching the interaction with the new students and the older ones was a pale figure. Silent as a statue his crimson eyes wandered over familiar and unfamiliar faces. The young blonde boy who joined them seemed upset to be here. Yet another who didn't understand why they were placed where they were he took it. One never knew what the sorting had was planning when it placed you. Xenos himself knew he might have been a Slytherin but absolutely flourished in Ravenclaw. This was normal though for someone not to be happy where they were. A new friend always seemed to end up where you weren't or a sibling you couldn't escape. Casting his gaze back along the faces the albino felt a little tug at his heart.
Had it felt like this to his fellows who had graduated last year? This terrifying thrill and deep sense of regret. Tonight was the beginning of the count down till he graduated. Tonight was the beginning of the end so to speak. There were few faces here that he had known his whole time here and it bothered him to know that shortly he wouldn't be sitting at this table anymore. Everyone faced this time though, and everyone moved on. Now he just had to make up his mind about a career. So many choices....well in all honesty he knew he was going into law enforcement...just where? Rubbing the bridge of his nose lightly the albino pushed the silver rims of his glasses back into place. Long night ahead for the Head Boy.
Seeing the small red haired girl, Phinelia was her name if he recalled correctly, reminded him that he had to pick a new captain this year for the Quidditch team. Wonderful, another thing to worry about. It didn't matter though it was just another passing of the gauntlet to another young wizard or witch. Xenos didn't even realize that he was now staring into the distance as his mind worked down the several paths it had begun on. He needed to save money up, time to move out on his own...where to though? Maybe he could ask his father if he could rent the summer home they had in Godric's Hallow? Or an apartment? Nah he didn't know if he could handle living in muggle society. That and he didn't think Dante would live with him if muggle's were so close. Dante...that name chased the shadows of his many thoughts away from his heart. What would he do without the black haired angel for a year as he waited for Dante to graduate? It would be hell but he would manage. His mind still a buzz, the albino sat quietly waiting for when the end of the feast. As long as I'm living, I'll be waiting As long as I'm breathing, I'll be there Whenever you call me, I'll be waiting Whenever you need me, I'll be there

Zamir followed his pale friend quietly to the table. He cast a glance at Xenos as they waited for more first years to be sorted. Xenos seemed so worried this year. It was understandable though. It was their last year at Hogwarts. He wondered what feeling nervous, or fear was like. As of yet those emotions had not decided to grace him with their presence. Unlike his friend Zamir did not worry. In fact he could not wait until he was out. He could finally join his parents as a hit wizard and be rid of all the odd stares. Besides, this place held memories he'd like to forget.
When he caught a light pink shade color the albino's cheeks he smiled. Well, he knew who he was thinking of. The relationship those two had was incredible. The personalities were so different and yet the two fit with each other perfectly.

Chase BalfordHogwarts Student: Third Year, Ravenclaw Theme of the Moment | Thoughts: Well, well….Oh well, food and ladies!… Chase smiled as she responded. He was starting to understand why he hadn’t noticed her the year before. She seemed to think deeply and be very analytical and rather…well, Ravenclaw-like. He supposed they all expressed their house qualities in different ways. Chase never talked about the things that bothered him, preferring to rely on his own intuition and reasoning to sort out things for himself. But he talked plenty despite that. Usually never about anything serious. Play the part of carefree abandon well and others will believe it, play it long enough and you might believe it yourself.
So, rather than push her to expound, he just nodded and joked lightly, “I know, I keep thinking about it too, if the owls outside go to the bathroom as they fly over the Great Hall, does the ceiling show the splat? We may never know.” He chuckled gently at his jest and looked off after the boy again.
But such concerns were not his business to talk about and far too serious for the Opening Feast of the Year. Plus of all of the things to talk to a pretty girl about, other people’s problems were at the bottom of his list. Though he was pretty sure that he saw this girl earlier with a group of first years, a few of them guys. Not something that bothered him, but he could wait until the second day or so to make enemies. So he decided to keep the conversation relatively polite and appropriate tonight.
“So, Phinella, that’s really a unique name. I’m going to have trouble forgetting it.” He intoned with a rakish smile.
Or maybe not.

Cathryn O'MalleyHogwarts First-Year: Ravenclaw Cat squeaked with glee as the Sorting Hat shouted out, "Ravenclaw!" She skipped over to the Ravenclaw table, accompanied by clapping and cheers from her new house. She sat down next to a handsome boy, maybe a few years older then her. He sported a strong chin, and perfectly cut blonde hair. He sat next to a lovely red-headed girl, who looked to be about the same age as the boy.
Cat stuck her hand out to him. "Hello, my name's Cat! I'm so excited to be in Ravenclaw! What's your name?"

The underlying message of the boy's humorous words struck true with her - it was the Sorting Ceremony. A time of celebration, cheers, House pride and food. The small smile that had played on her full lips instantly enlarged with the decision to enjoy herself for the time being. "Thank you," she said with quickly brightening eyes. Her name was a great source of pride for the Ravenclaw girl; her parents had given it to her with much thought and care. Their decision was not one carelessly created. Its uniqueness also played role in her fondness of it. "Chase suits you." she smiled further, eyes lining the fair locks adorning his head and the strong eyes looking into her. Another voice sounded behind her and Phi turned at an angle to have her sight fall on a young girl approach them with raised spirits. In the background, Phi had just heard the Sorting Hat call one of the children into the House Ravenclaw. It must have been the smiling girl. Phi nodded in kind greeting and gestured for her to take a seat. "I am Phi. Welcome" ╚══════════════════╝

Seren Meinir~First Year~Ravenclaw~Seren was excited when she heard that she was placed in Ravenclaw. It had been the same exact house that her Aunt had been placed in when she started school. She walks over to the Ravenclaw table and sat next to another girl who had also been placed in Ravenclaw. "Hi I'm Seren." She says after hearing the girl named Cat asking what someone's name was. Seren just couldn't wait till later when she would send her Mum a letter and tell her that she was in Ravenclaw.
