spaceGypsy watched her brother's escape with playful eyes, fighting to keep them pink and blue. To her surprise, she didn't have to work nearly as hard as she normally did, which was a plus. She almost had it so that she didn't spontaneously change colors anymore. Pretty much the only exception was... well, Jer. He still managed to turn at least one eye and her bangs purple without her being able to stop if he did anything even remotely amusing. And she couldn't figure out how to keep from going full-on burgundy when they were in the middle of a particularly good snog session. Though, she supposed she should just give up on that one; staying pink in that case required control, which required focus, and she'd much rather focus on the snogging, after all.
spaceHmph, maybe she should think about something else, she mused, noting a chunk of hair in her peripheral go darker. Apparently thinking about kissing him did it, too. Not as bad, since the blue stayed blue, but the pink hue was definitely not as bright as her usual. Before she could try and fix it, though, his arms were around her. Given the track her mind had been on, she figured the best thing to do was just kiss him now and get it out of the way. Or, rather, kiss him now and then find a carriage, where she would kiss him more. That in mind, she pressed her lips to his, pulling way before anything got too interesting, and shrugged at his question."I dunno, I doubt if anyone wants to ride with us, anyway,"she said, eyes brightening in amusement. It was true; for all the time Ronna and Toby spent liplocked themselves, they never seemed to fail to complain about Gypsy and Jer. Jess, she figured, would want to ride with Dorian, and Gypsy was all for that, because seriously, the more time they spent together, the higher the chance one of them would finally make a freaking move."Hm... let's get a carriage, and maybe we'll get lucky and our reputation will speak for itself; we might get to ride to the school alone,"she told him with a wink, pressing another kiss to his cheek. She didn't have to explain to him the benefits of having a carriage to themselves, obviously. And, anyway, she didn't really care who, if anyone, ended up sharing with them, as long as it wasn't David. So, no sense waiting around. That in mind, she slid from his arms, taking hold of his hand and heading towards the carriages.

"Can we go find a carriage. I rather not be around the head girl or the head boy at the moment since I am not in their good books since every that happened last. Valentina said to the group. She remembered from her flask getting taken off her, detention with the Gryffindor head of house, being escorted to hoh office and finally nutting at the prefects and others at the table at the End of the year feast. "I did my flask with me this empty but is also my good luck charm and its gonna help me pass my OWLs this year." She told the others and hoping that no ne took notice of that. "I should join Quidditch this year just to annoy them." Valentina giggled as she walked past the olde students with her friends. Valentina was glad she had made some friends. "Still can not believe it took my mother 4 years to tell me that she went to Hogwarts was in Ravenclaw, Donatella Arena, Prefect. I think she might of been head girl but I am not sure." She said to herself. "Shall we get a carriage?" She asked her friends ad waited their answer
It was Gunilda's fourth year already, and the young girl was beginning to bloom- her parents had already caught her dabbling with makeup, although she would never wear it of course, she was too young, she had only been poking at the stuff out of curiosity. Maybe a new look would help her make some friends though, as ever since her first year not many of her classmates had talked to her, which bothered the normally careless slytherin. It had been bothering her since her first year. Why wouldn't people speak with her, offer to team up in a lesson? Was she just weird? Gunilda shook her head to herself, not understanding it all, not understanding why for her, it was difficult to make a few close friends- the only people she really knew were her classmates, when she'd had no problem when she was younger, and no one save for a certain fellow slytherin seemed to particularly dislike her, not that she had given them reason to hate her anyway. Was it possible that this lively slytherin, was starting to feel...lonely? No, she didn't need friends, but still, some company would be nice.
Hopping off the train, she looked around for familiar faces. No one approached her, yet, and some already were immersed in conversations, in their little groups. To hell with it, I don't need them if they can't even spare a 'hello', and with that she popped a sweet into her mouth, a muggle sweet, appearing as happy as could be, although that thought that it was possible no one wanted to talk to her nagged at her. After all, with three years and no real friendships to speak of, and her classmates already sectioning theirselves off into little groups, she couldn't help but feel somewhat out of place. That feeling was so small but it was there. Lazily, she chewed on her sweet, looking over to the familiar carriages. Maybe she could just join a carriage with some of her classmates- they shouldn't mind too much, and Gunilda saw no harm in the matter, as long as her slytherin friends didn't cause chaos.
Out Of Cauldrons: (( Er but seriously, could someone help me find Gunilda a pal? Most of my last requests for such a thing have been ignored and I'm seriously considering dropping her, as there's simply not much to do with her as a character. sweatdrop I just dont wanna barge in and ruin someone elses conversation ._.

Eugene was about to walk away and continue eavesdropping when he heard footsteps coming his way, fast and light footsteps. He didn’t know who was running but could not help it but turn around quickly, out of curiosity. The short height, sunny blonde hair, and energetic brown eyes – he instantly recognized her. His bored face grew into a smile, ”Oh hi, Cate-- ohh!”, he was supposed to greet and ask how her summer was but his mind went haywire in the inside when she hugged him with one arm. He was completely flustered, and his warm light beige face was mixed with redness. He wasn’t used about being touched aside from his parents and his childhood buddies in Edinburgh, he wouldn’t mind because he was close to them. But being hugged by your secret crush? That’s something that he could not explain.
When she released him, he didn’t move and blinked as if trying to reflect what happened. He tried to keep his coolness by keeping his face not to be reddish beige, and listening to her question about how his summer was ”Oh, busy, home café business running with mum. It’s been a busy vacation, and then dad came to our house once again to stay for the summer. He invited me to come with him to the Diagon Alley for a walk which was good and uh…” He sighed out of slight embarrassment, ”And he also invited me in hope that I can socialize with new mates, even mum even agreed that I should do so.”
Eugene shrugged and grinned with a humorous atmosphere, as if taking that as a funny moment, ”And yeah, I haven’t talked with you—well, uh, I’m… sorry we haven’t talked to each other. I’ve got my head buried with activities because you know, I took many electives.” He slightly blushed again, ”I’m also sorry for not coming to the Yule Ball, I went with my dad for a long-time family reunion with mum. I can’t miss that opportunity, but don’t get me wrong I mean like to go too.” He actually said half-truthfully about that last sentence, he wanted to go to the Ball because he believed it was the perfect time to confess his feelings to her. But on the other side he didn’t because he was not a fan of gatherings and parties, and he was a terrible dancer.

Morven had given up on getting her hair clip back and making the thieving scum that had taken it pay. For now. Mostly because there was no clear window of opportunity, with stragglers still getting off the train, other people standing around, and yet others climbing into carriages. She needed to get a carriage herself, before they were all gone and she had to walk all the way up to the bloody castle. She didn't see Camila, and the list of people she was not actually friends with but could tolerate was short, and growing shorter by the day. Still, she was going to end up in a carriage with someone. She'd rather it be someone not annoying. As she neared the carriages, she spotted a familiar dark haired girl she identified as Gunilda, a house mate. Morven couldn't remember the last time she'd even spoken to Gunilda, but she didn't remember finding her insufferable, so she was willing to take a chance. "Fancy getting a carriage together?" she outright asked the other girl, eyeing her chewing something curiously. She refused to admit that she couldn't find anyone else to ride up to the castle with, and held her ground. It wasn't as if the other girl would turn her down. Right?

Cathy/Catie/Cate ❤ ❤ Fluent in: English, Latin, French, Mandarin Chinese ❤ ❤ Studying: German and Ancient Runes ❤ ❤Looking like the Adorable Badger I am! ❤ Who am I? ❤ How about my brother? ❤ ❤
Cathy tilted her head some when Jean took a minute to answer her about his summer and listened to his answer and raised a brow. She was pretty sure Jean's father was the Cursebreaking professor-not that she took the class-but her brother did. Cathy felt better not keeping up with her brother's constant quest to take the hardest class possible and get perfect scores, which didn't happen, and he did manage to fail Cooking (which Cathy thought was mildly amusing considering she was sure David was still fuming about-because apparently he thought he was supposed to be brilliant at everything). "You went to Diagon and forgot to call me up?" Cathy demanded, sounded a bit slighted. "I live right there... well actually Belgravia, but that's London, and so close enough! I could have just gotten a cab and gone over."
Shaking her head, still smiling she said, "So did you meet anyone new and exciting there? I mean Diagon Alley is always pretty busy. Or at least whenever I've seen it." When Jean began to explain about not keeping up with her and being busy and then the Yule Ball.
"Well, don't worry too much about the Yule Ball. All you missed was Peeves attacking students with ink wells, two upperclassmen who thought to bring alcohol to the Ball to sit with in some depressing corner, and my brother being in the middle of some fight over him," Cathy said with a sigh. "I don't even know how he managed to stay a prefect considering the amount of detentions he got from that one. Anyways... I asked a favor of one of my quidditch teammates to go with me. Pretty sure he went out of sympathy with me, which is just sad... but you know the reputations us Puffs have-we're the nice guys."
"Anyways, good to know you were busy, I seriously was beginning to think you forgot about me or didn't like me or something. I was worried a bit," She said, before spinning around to stand in front of him facing him and said, "Anyways we better find a carriage! Otherwise we'll be stuck with one of the upperclassmen who are too busy snogging to notice we exist or my brother and his girlfriend who'll be torn between whether to go all 'big brother' on me or flirt with Leo. Maybe he got his doting big brother out of the way when he saw Leah at Platform 9 and 3/4!" She ended brightly.
Surprisingly, a red-headed slytherin approached her and asked her to join her in the next carriage. Gunilda eyed the other; hadn't this been the girl who had had a fit when she had told she and some other girl to keep quiet? Probably, but Gunilda wasn't about to sit in a carriage by herself. "Sure, why not." She smiled, glad that this girl apparently didn't remember what she did, and climbed into a carriage which was currently empty. Two seats down, two to go. Chewing on the sour lemon sweet, she looked out of the window to her left, taking in the view, before remembering how the girl had been looking at her whilst she chewed, and laughed, "You wouldn't want one, they're sour." Tangy food was her forte when it came to eating, and she held a fondness for muggle sweets.
She found the taste of those types of food to be refreshing, constantly surprising you with a new unusual flavour, and as soon as she had finished the first sweet, she popped another one in her mouth; a small bright yellow diamond shaped sweet, with a slight dusting of sugar. By the clouds in the air she could see through the window it looked like it might rain, but for now the air was dry, and if it did rain, she was at least under shelter. With a yawn, which showed a tongue which was stained bright yellow, she waited for some more people to fill in the last two empty seats. Hopefully it wouldn't be anyone too rowdy; there was plenty of time for fun later, right now Gunilda was simply looking forward to the feast and a trip to Hogsmeade during the school year. They had a sweet-shop, tailors, an awesome gag store- she was excited for that. Maybe she could learn how to cook up some neat treats herself as she had taking cooking as an elective; a surprising choice, but it went well with the subjects she had already chosen.

Jess was caught between being annoyed by Gypsy's constant ribbing the entire time and delighted by it. Either way, she felt like an attention whore, but didn't feel as bad about it as she should have. She could have spent another mind-numbingly dull ride in the prefects compartment listening to Xavier lecture a late David. She was still embarrassed of course, since the compartment had been packed, but it was her final year. Wasn't this supposed to be the year of not really caring that much? Not that she'd ever been great at that before. She couldn't find Dori on the way out of the train and onto the platform, mostly due to her lack of height. She had the feeling she was always going to be 5'2". She finally caught sight of a shock of blue hair after seeing Gypsy and Jer being lovey-dovey (ew) and Toby and Ronna being lovey-dovey (double ew). Being the only in the circle not with a significant other honestly sucked sometimes. Thank god they weren't into double dating, she'd be the perpetual fifth wheel. She fought her way through the crowd, shamelessly darting in front of a few younger years, and very nearly crashed into the boy. Dorian looked awfully... grim, and she hoped he wasn't too mad. "Sorry," she said breathlessly. "About Gypsy- she's always like that. Well, not always like that- Anyways. I should have told her to shut up. Did you want to get a carriage?"

❁❀✿Tanya just stuck her tongue out at Echo in reprimand to him not even attempting to laugh at her joke. Say what you will she was funny! "Thanks, I think I am." she chirped to his obvious sarcasm. She tried, and failed, not to snicker as he bemoaned his family and how they kept him and Gypsy back to have a family breakfast imagining Piper practically throwing her children into their seats and placing dish after dish in front of them while dramatically fawning over how grown they are. She could imagine it because that was how her own mother had basically been acting this past summer going on and on about how she'll soon be an adult, leaving the nest, blahblahblah. She could sort of understand seeing as she'd be seventeen by next spring but seriously, that was so far away it was barely a blip on her radar! Sure she'd love to be able to legally use magic whenever she wanted at that exact moment but until that day came she wasn't really going to think about it much. When Dave joined their small group she grinned and gave him a wave while inwardly smirking and rubbing her hands together as she contemplated the ways to throw him and Elsie together. It had been discouraging, to say the least, to hear about how well their summer together had gone without any mention of actually taking their relationship to the next level. But this is where she came in! She may not have the perfect track record of love but she's one to zero on hooking people up so she thinks that counts for something. When the two made their joke about killing someone and hoping it was League Tanya burst out into laughter alongside Echo while only partially hoping that the Ravenclaw hadn't heard them. It was bad enough she was still more than likely sharing classes with the arse, she didn't need him knowing there were death jokes about him. Although she was sure there are plenty of things he'd consider worse than that. The way the two interacted with each other furthered her point that they were actually perfect for each other but just being stubborn to torment her. She was going to get them together so help her Chuck! At Echo's request that they find a carriage before his sister found them again she snickered at him mainly because she was sure had Xavier not been staring down at them like Smaug that they would've tried to sneak out early for some private time. That and it looked like they weren't thinking of anyone but themselves at the moment. "From the look of things, I don't think Gypsy would be all that keen on someone joining them when they could have a carriage all to themselves." Tanya replied with a sly grin and chuckle. On her way to there she spotted Timothy with his usual annoying friend and with Mira, whom she knocked down from quiet dislike to neutral optimism. She saw the way both teens looked at each other and had thought the pair of them at the Yule Ball last year adorable (in between her still wanting to step on her face for hurting her little Cookie but whatever she was over it, slightly) and wondered if she would have to be the one to give The Talk to her brother while they were at school. She sincerely hoped that he was smart enough to have either looked it up on his own or had the common sense to know that babies didn't come from storks. Still, she would keep an eye out for that development, even if it meant having to deal with that little pimple Benjamin.

spaceDorian was pulled from his thoughts by Jess's voice, her apology making him blink at her for a second. When she elaborated, he shrugged, trying to smile at the older girl. He wasn't entirely successful."Eh, it's... it's fine. I mean... I dunno. She's not any worse than my brother,"he told the brunette. He wasn't quite sure why exactly Gypsy found it so amusing to bring up the subject of his incredibly obvious crush on her best friend, but it wasn't like Jess was encouraging her or anything. He didn't really think anyone using the words shut up in that prefect car would've been a good idea, except Xavier or Ronna. Mostly because if anyone else had said it, either of the Heads would probably tear their head off. Plus, he didn't really want Jess to get into a fight or something with the metamorphmagus, not over him. It'd be beyond pointless. When she asked about the carriage, he managed an actual smile this time, nodding."Uh, sure. Did... they seat four, were you wanting to ride with them,"he asked, gesturing at the pink-haired girl and her blond boyfriend, not particularly thrilled at the prospect. Firstly, he'd had enough of the teasing for one night, really, and secondly, any time not spent teasing him would probably be spent with their tongues in each other's mouths, at least from what he'd heard about the pair, and he didn't fancy watching that all the way to the school. He was sort of hoping she'd say she didn't want to ride with them as a result. He'd much rather go with one of their brothers; as far as he knew, neither Toby nor Julius was quite that obnoxious with their respective girlfriends. Of course, she'd actually asked him if he wanted to go with her, he wasn't going to say no... Maybe he was turning into a masochist. This had to be a form of self-inflicted torture. He couldn't think of any other reason to constantly seek out his unrequited crush to hang out with, or to subject himself to her insane friend. That had to be it; he was officially crazy. He was enjoying his suffering, that certainly wasn't normal.

Benjamin smiled as she threw more questions about his lineage, glad to see that she had a glow of fascination written all over her face. He never really told his family's story to anyone before, mainly because the question never came up. But now that he got to tell it to someone, he felt a surge of pride flowing through him. He loved his history and definitely wouldn't trade it for any other. "Yes, Blakely is my mother's surname. And it is weird because the fact that it isn't spelled the same way as the tradition name...'Blakeley', which has an e between the 'l' and 'y'...rather, it doesn't have it, but because of it I might have some Scottish from my other side. I have no idea about the other though. Just a thought," he admitted to her, shrugging his shoulders. He knew his mother was at least mostly British, but she probably had some kind of other thing in her.
As the conversation shifted towards school, she asked him what classes he had taken that term, to which he answered swiftly. Advanced Flying, Arithmancy, CurseBreaking, Muggle Music, Muggle Studdies, Wandless Magic, and World studies," he told her, wondering what she was taking. "We do need to get a carriage, but tell me what you took on the way." He said this in the least commanding way; so it wasn't like he was ordering her around. He just saw that many students were getting carriages; so might as well join the crowd in finding one, before there were none left

I see you in my head and eye. Your eyes are vacant and your mouth is bright. And all you say are things I don't want to hear... So I smash my hands against my broken ears... Vander nodded and then flatly asked, "So what house is she in?" It couldn't be Slytherin or she would have said as much. It was probably, he reasoned, a Ravenclaw girl and he doubted Wendy even believed half of what came out of her own mouth. He couldn't exactly see her extolling the virtues of a love match, never mind getting herself a boyfriend. He laughed when she called it a fluff class, because it was, and because he remembered her talking about old family recipes involving veritaserum at one point or another. He didn't say that, though, just looked at her as she basically told him he was going to humiliate his family if he scored worse than the muggleborns and halfbloods. Last year, he would have been furious. This year, he noticed that she told him he wasn't stupid at the end of her little speech. "Do you get away with speaking to anyone else like that? Or is it just me? Must have been saving that up all summer." She liked to be as polite as possible while being snotty, he'd realized. He supposed he should feel honored she was blunt with that. He didn't; he was irritated, and he'd probably be angrier later once it sunk in, but she was probably expecting that anyways.

Wendy raised a brow when Vander nodded and asked flatly what house David's girlfriend is in. She knew very well he'd just laugh if she just said Gryffindor-actually Wendy still laughed about that to some degree but it wasn't horrid if the option was to have a more public relations friendly image of the Avery Clan. "Well," Wendy said, "Let's just say she's pretty and fairly agreeable and I doubt awkward rumors about the new generation of the Averys will persist if David has his way and marries her. The comity of course is still out on whether they approve of her, but there are far, far, far worse options in her own house and no doubt more respectable houses such as our own. Leonette Mitchell: she's a Gryffindor." Wendy ended, finally. She waited for Evander's amusement at the thought of a Gryffindor possibly ending up in the Avery family tree-especially with the heir of the family. She knew it was a bit embarrassing herself, it was why she didn't flat out say the house. Besides, there was the things she had explained that did favor Leonette despite her house.
However, when Evander asked about her frankness, she turned bright red realizing how much she had said and she probably shouldn't have. Pureblood, respectable girls were supposed to be quiet, seen not heard, support others perhaps but nothing more than that. They definitely shouldn't have their own opinion or voice it. She glanced away still bright red in embarrassment and realized David League-sorry, David Sinclair Avery- actually would listen to her opinion occasionally, but he wasn't exactly a typical and far from a generally appropriate pureblood. And she was well aware that it was more of a tolerance that she and her cousin had come to.
Flicking her eyes to Evander, she then looked down at her hands in her lap which clinched tighter wondering for a moment to say and began, "I..." She glanced up and narrowed her eyes and said sharply, "Don't ask my opinion on matters. I mean... what I think, it should be only as the family agrees. That's... that is my opinion on anything. My opinion doesn't exist." She ended, head up, though her hands were clenched tightly in her lap and she knew very well her frankness and words betrayed the fact she actually had her own opinions that were a separate entity of others. Fixing her blue eyes on Evander's pale ones she sat perfectly still and straight-a bit like the porcelain dolls Evander had compared her to before-the difference was Wendy was still fighting with a distinct pink tint of her blush on her face-which she hoped Evander didn't notice or her being as flustered as she was. It was weakness. And, it was something she shouldn't be-ever. And it was her own fault, she let herself voice her opinion without thinking. She managed to keep her features blank and not bite her lip like she wanted to, though. It was her tightly clenched hands she focused on more so as she held her gaze on Evander.

Morven thought Gunilda agreed pretty easily for a fellow Slytherin, but maybe she didn't have a lot of options either. She followed the dark haired girl into the carriage, but not before casting a tight smile the way of the thestral pulling it. She'd been able to see them since her second year, after all, and she was longer alarmed by their appearance, even if they freaked her out just a tad. She smiled thinly when the other girl told her the sweets were sour, but she was right, she didn't like sour sweets. And she didn't want a yellow stained tongue, either. "Aren't you worried about spoiling your appetite?" she finally asked. "For the feast?" Far be it from her to tell the other girl what to eat or when, but she was just trying to make conversation here, otherwise she'd go back to stewing in silence.

-Adorable Little Lurker-
The dearlybeloveddaughter, Is now a dead and buriedgirl! Tell me my girl, who has damned you? Over there on the moor and in thecorn... Take my body, my rings, and my dress- Under the moon they have burnedwith me.
She huffed, brows knitted into ugly wrinkles and her nose scrunched up on her face as if a nasty smell had struck her senses. A violent hand tug and twisted at the ends of her hair just to keep her attention fixated on anything but her horrible beast of a step-brother, who hadn't even stepped off the train yet, but was instead fuming inside the empty compartment they shared. The curl of a snarl sat indignantly on her face, despite her best intention to embark on the platform with her head held high and a smile on her face—it was more of a glower and hunchback, to be frank. She shuffled through the platform, dodged the few students to reach Hogsmeade, and caught a fleeting glimpse of Morven's ginger hair disappear inside a carriage.
She only hoped Morven was having a better day than she was. ”Hey Morv—“ she paused briskly, dark eyes glimmering on Gunilda, ”—en.” Her fingers caught a knot in her hair, and she plastered on the most pathetic smile imaginable. ”Heeeey,” she mumbled to the raven haired girl lightly, greeting her for a split second before shooting Morven a look that screamed “what the hell is she doing here?”
Camila remembered their first year as if it were yesterday, and while some details were distorted, her emotions hadn't. It was forever ago though; three years is a long time , especially when schooling only lasted seven. Right now, her annoyance was more fixated on her brother than something Gunilda had said all those years ago. And Camila had to hand it to her, at least she spoke up for defense, everyone else just sat back in horror and watched. Maybe it wasn't all that bad, or maybe it was just her memory playing tricks on her, either way, it didn't matter any more. It was water under the bridge, so to speak, now it was just a matter of time until that bridge got burned. ”So, I had a horrible train ride up here, I hope you two fared better.” She wanted to kick herself. The last thing she really wanted to do was bring up what happened with her and Axel, but it was like word vomit she couldn't stop spewing. ”Anyway, please tell me you mates did something interesting during the summer; all I did was sit and flip through the telly.”
