Second Year Slytherin Student: SaLevera SykesLevera hated being dismissed. Above all else she couldn't stand being discarded, tossed to the side, dismissed as a lesser person. This professor was pissing her off. He had no idea who she was or what she was capable of and he had picked with the wrong student to piss off. She hadn't been kidding when she threatened to kill him, Levera did not often make empty threats. Actually she didn't really know the concept of an empty threat. He had shocked her when he made apparent that he knew Mandarin. At first she was somewhat embarrassed, but then she realized she didn't care whether or not he knew how foul her mouth could get. She wasn't interested in earning his respect. Her punishment was detention, she bristled some at this, but in reality it didn't effect her too much. Detention was not punishment. Being forced to hold the Shotokan stance, Kiba Dachi for three hours with fifty pounds of weight balanced on your shoulders was punishment. Her hips twitched at the thought of the last time that had happened to her. The next day she had nearly lost her life in the forest because her hips kept popping out from the tendons being overstretched. She had managed to free climb into a series of rock caves and hidden behind a waterfall for twelve hours. Levera had been incredibly lucky that no one had found her and that she had the luxury of stretching her legs out. Levera growled loudly at him, it was a feral sound like that of a wolf. He was too far away to headbutt, but she wanted to make sure that he knew her displeasure. The second she was free he was going to know exactly how pissed off she was. The bloodlust that was Levera's inner demon had taken over, her eyes were crazed, and all she wanted to do was rip someone's throat out. Eraz turned to walk away. He waved his hand and suddenly Levera could shoot her feet. She grabbed another steak knife off of the Slytherin table and launched herself at him. She didn't care about honor and never striking an opponent from behind. All she knew was that she was going to assassinate this man in any way possible. Her training had not taught her about honor, it had taught her about slaughter. Had she completed her training she would have been one of the most ruthless mercenaries or hitwomen in the world. The only honor she had in her was this loyalty complex that made her completely loyal to certain people that earned her respect and kindness. Everyone else was subject to the most ruthless tactics and manipulation to make sure Levera got the result that she wanted. ~~ “Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing. Use the pain as fuel, as a reminder of your strength.”

sℓyтнεяιη Isт yεαя ❝ Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars ❞ ~ Shin smiled, a smile only people under 12 could pull off. "I don't know... I always loved I when my father pulled his want out of his stalf...." he said. "Personally I want one in a sword...." He loved want holders, like some boys loved dragons or sports. "Or this magic ring my mother has hers in. She just thinks of her wand and it appears in her hand..." !" ~

Morvin Varren One of the Professors stormed over to the table and after separating the fighting children demanded to know why no one else stopped them. "Believe me, Professor," he spat out, "if I could, I would have." A total lie. He didn't get involved in things like that unless he had a vested interest and he didn't in either the boy or the girl. He finished mopping up the pumpkin juice spilled on him and rested his head on his arms, cursing under his breath.

Roisin O'Brennan Slytherin - First Year Roisin smiled back at Sever. "My father carries his in an elaborate cane, but he very rarely uses it anymore, prefering wandless magic." Suddenly, the girl popped up on her feet, another knife in hand and launched at the Professor's back. Roisin sat stunned. Eyes wide, she grabbed ahold of Sever's wrist and squeezed, not knowing if she was hurting him or not. Surely this wasn't going to be pretty. Great. There was no way Slytherin House was going to win this years House Cup. And they were going to be known as reckless and thoughtless. Really? Maybe going to Durmstrang with her brothers would have been more peaceful. At least there, despite the cold and dark, Roisin had five brothers to act the body guards as they often did during their summer breaks.
The girl was admirably scary, though, and Roisin admired her as she flew through the air. She didn't know what she felt more, annoyance at the obvious disadvantage they were going to have in the race, awe at the girl's skill and determination, or apprehension for the same reasons.

sℓyтнεяιη Isт yεαя ❝ Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars ❞ ~ Shin smiled. "Ya canes are popular but wandless is ea-" He gasped, seeing the girl linch herself at the teacher. He was horrified. This was going to lose so many POINTS!! his mouth actuly hung open. He gulped, holding back in Miss Roisin. He did not know he did it, but he did the same thing with his brothers. "Holly Salazar!" He cursed. !" ~

Mira smiled up at the teacher as sweetly as she could stand, "Well professor, if my opinion still matters, I was raised to believe holding in agression is unhealthly and by all the rage she just let out, she just got years back on her life. Not to mention the face that it was all physical and no magic was used, a trip to the hospital wing will fix them right up Mira was interrupted. "Sssssaaaaaaarrrrrrrrttttthhhhhhh" He hissed at her as he flicked his tongue in the direction of the boy. " Which I believe the boy is in need of, Slange can smell the blood on him, so if I may I would like to take my wrongly attacked underclassman to nurse to be healed. Mira said a sneer now on her face. She watched again as the stupid girl jumped at the teacher. ~ Translation~ {{{" I can taste the blood in the air, it's delectable"}}} ((On my phone, sorry for any errors))

The Sorting Hat With Sorting [mostly] over, the Welcoming Feast was set to being. Appearing on the table was food of all sorts, chicken, steaks, corn, mashed potatoes... anything. You name it, it's there. The pumpkin juice contains refilled themselves.

Ariya Denari Ariya frowned slightly when she heard the comments about Mudbloods and how destructive Muggles were. In her opinion, the wizarding world gave Muggles little to no sympathy nor credit, which annoyed her to no end. Soon enough, a fight had broken out . . . What? She knew it was none of her business, but it was the first day of the new year! Couldn't that wait? Apparently not . . . Ariya watched on in silence as a menacing Professor approached, breaking up the fight and starting internal ones. She raised an eyebrow when the girl that had attacked the boy launched herself at the Professor with a steak knife. On one hand, the girl was stupid to attack like that. On the other, she found herself hoping that the knife would hit its mark. She told herself that the blood lust was just the Slytherin talking. She hoped. She turned her attention to the table, where the food was now sitting. She smiled, piling her plate high with roast beef, yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. She hadn't eaten like this in a while.

Roisin O'Brennan Slytherin - First Year In mid lunge, the food appeared, but Roisin was too distracted to do anything more than take note of it's existence. The smells of butter, gravy, roasted lamb, honey glazed carrots and aromatic soups waffled through the air, and the sound of silver wear clanking as servings were taking, only served as a sensory background as a the girl seemed to slow down, at least she slowed down in Roisin's mind. Roisin could see where the knife would slice into the Professor's back at the angle she was attacking, unless the girl could shift while in the air.
Their House was going to be so far behind in the race for the House Cup. Not only did they already have a negative point value, but this was surely going to cost them more. And what about those that turned their backs on the violence. Sever had a point taken away for not defending against stopping a barrel between students. How many points would Slytherin House lose now with people serving themselves and watching as if it was for their entertainment. Not that Roisin disagreed with that trail of thought, but to act it would surely get more points taken away.

He are nothing. He then started to feed her beef. Suddenly a plate appeared infront of him. It had raw fish and rice with orange orbs on it. Shin looked shocked. "Shamus...." !" ~

Roisin O'Brennan Slytherin - First Year "Shamus? Where?" Roisin finally took her eyes off the soon to be disaster. Everything was happening at the same time and it took all of her concentration to observe it all. She looked around at Sever's exclamation, looking for his brother. She wouldn't be surprised considering all that had happened even before the feast had offical begun. Crows, owls, kittens, fights, an arrogent Professor, knives, and the list went on. Who knew what else would happen before the end of the feast?
One thing was for sure: It wasn't going to be boring at Hogwarts.

sℓyтнεяιη Isт yεαя ❝ Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars ❞ ~ Shin blinked. "He told the house elfs what I'll eat..." He said. He pointed at the food. His brother was not there. That would be mortifying. He would eat very little things. "Probably had it spiked to" He said. !" ~

Roisin O'Brennan Slytherin - First Year Roisin didn't understand why a brother would do that. Spike or poison their siblings food, especially their younger siblings. Sometimes she wanted to spike her brothers' drinks just to get them to fall asleep instead of constantly hovering over her like her parents, but that wasn't the same thing.
Roisin looked down at the plate that had appeared in from of Sever. There was barely anything on it. No wonder he was so thin. At first glance, Roisin would have assumed it was mostly for the kitten, but she didn't eat rice, though Chocolate was eyeing those orange orbs. "At least you can eat now. If you wanted to." Roisin said absentmindedly. She had all but lost her appetite, and turned to watch the Dung Bomb go off.

So that's how she's doing it. Without breaking stride the professor started spinning his staff when he heard the girl start running. Instead of attacking as witch once more she was going a more physical route. When the girl's footsteps left the ground he shifted where he was holding his staff and spun it outwards. The carved wood spun upwards through the air, on an intercepting path for the girl's stomach. If she did what he thought she was doing, jumping for a kill on his throat, then his staff would catch her in mid leap and bring her over his head. Strange. A girl who knows Mandarin curses, and obviously has some kind of combat training...and a temper shorter than a pygmy is tall. Taking more points from her would be utterly ...pointless, she likely doesn't even see them as important. Very well then, let's see how she likes wall sits.
