For a second Khina merely blinked. She was unuse to people taking an interest in her notes. Glancing down at them, she frowned, trying to remember if people wrote notes in polite society.
Oh, so much to remember for being out in public, she thought and then tucked her hand and notebook into her lap as she smiled at the inquire person, Fir, Firion, yes..yes...
"Well, Mister Firion, you're got a rather lucky and magical set of numbers. Your character is a 7, as if your heart, while your social number is a 9. You are an interesting person given your numbers, she said as she glanced at her notes in her lap. She chuckled slightly, since she knew that while the numbers in themselves were powerful. Their meanings were something different. Though I don't want to tell him in front off all these others.

Cillian's attention flitted towards his left, upon hearing a soft, voice greet him. He calmly studied the professor who addressed whilst she talked. A soft, muted chuckled escaped from his lips after she was done doing so. "A 'ermit?" He asked with a quizzical expression on his young face. The professor slightly doubted her hermit stasus, considering the fact she was seemingly interacting with the blonde-fellow and the green-haired lady quite well...but, eh? She might of changed her ways for all he knew, or maybe he hadn't paid enough attention...
"Nah, am a new addition. And, as fe me name, it's Cillan McPhee." He replied in his Liverpool accent, giving her a polite smile. The man moved a warm hand from his jacket pocket, and then held it out for her to shake.spacespaceტut ტf ეharacter: space

Rian frowned when he saw his beloved was no where in the room. He sighed but found his way to a seat and left the one next to him open in case she did make it. So far he did not recognize anyone at the table. Even Isis was no where to be seen. He shrugged and instead turned to focus on the students filing into the room.(( OOC: Rian has a heavy Irish accent))

A lawyer without books is like a workman without tools
This place brought back so many memories to the old Ravenclaw. The smells and sounds and sights were all as he had remembered them to be. Yet now it wasn't the long line of benches he was headed for. Instead it was the front at the staff table. Never had he thought he'd ever be there. "Hello" he said politely to a few who were already seated. He sat down not really near anyone but he was not positioned alone either. If anyone wished to speak with him then he would answer. Other than that he took to observing the hall he had not seen in such a long time.

A lot had changed for her over the school break. She started seeing someone. Someone that made her feel great. She had even stopped seeing other men for him. Something that Inari had never done before, but she didn't need to. For the first time, one man was meeting all of her needs. She had even went back to her natural hair color. He had wanted to see it so she took off her spell. It was a beautiful color, it had been so long, she'd forgotten."Hello everyone, nice to see you all back." She kept her cool demeanor as always once reaching the others. Taking her seat she scanned the room waiting for the man in question to show. He had wanted to get a few laps in before joining everyone. He hated to sit for any long period of time. He was always in the air. It suited him and she liked it when his hair had that wind blown look so it was a win win. Was a shame that she was a one man woman now, some of the professors keep getting hotter each year. but hey a girl can still flirt cant she? "Time for another year..." She said to herself.

Alyosha Loren McCrae
"Cowards falter, but danger is overcome by those who nobly dare." Alyosha's hand went upwards to arrange the crimson tie at his collar before he quietly sauntered into the Great Hall. The Staff Table had yet to be filled, and the upperclassmen students were now flitting into the room, taking their places at their respective house seating. He stopped, letting some of students speed on ahead of him before he hastened up his own pace. He quickly climbed those few steps up to the platform, where the Staff Table was placed. The man gave no oral greeting, instead he politely nodded to the colleagues who noticed his arrival, and then took his seat by a new addition, a fellow brunette like him (Felix). He poured himself some simple, spring water into his goblet and then took a sip, pale blue gaze going up once the doors pushed open letting in the small crowd of first years. "Go Gryffindor," he murmured softly to himself, before taking another sip of his drink. His attention stayed on the Sorting Ceremony whilst it went on. Cursebreaking Professor

Henrietta had unintentionally drifted back into her thoughts in the middle of her conversation. The only thing that snapped her back from her thought was the voice of the old sorting hat. She shook her head breifly in an attempt to clear her thought of food, well except for what food would soon be in front of her once the sorting was finished. The green haired woman looked down the table and noticed that more professors had joined them since she had last been paying attention. A soft laugh escaped from her as she realized that she had spaced out not only in front of her new colleagues but also in front of most of the school. "oops I guess I spaced out for a bit." Oops was probably the best thing for her to say after all she had been told many times that she is quite absent minded and scatter brained.

Mira Sinclair
"Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known." Mira effortlessly flitted in and out of the crowds of incoming upperclassmen before making her way gracefully to the Staff Table. After having seven years of crowd dodging practise as a student, and then time to do so again at Beauxbatons, perfecting it, she was now a master of not bumping into people in large groups. It was a skill, she somewhat took pride in. The professor, although aged, looked no different from her former self, for her Asian-styled robes of deep violet were still the customary work attire, and her long, tawny hair was still grey-less and neatly pinned up. Still, she felt different. Maybe it was the new title bestowed upon her or love once again, but she couldn't quite pin-point it. Releasing a deep, stress relieving breath, she walked along the seats of the Staff Table until she reached the one next to Rian. The woman felt her heart soar as his familiar, and handsome face was clearly caught in her view. She tapped his shoulder, and then asked. "Is this seat taken, love?" She smiled softly at him. Professor Ewan Faing Flying Instructor and Quidditch Referee Ewan strode into the great hall, broom in hand and robes billowing behind him. Weaving among the students that quickly filled the enormous room, he ran his fingertips through his hair, his locks tosseled after his windy ride around the quidditch pitch. He smirked, ready for the new year to begin. Shortly after the term had let out for the previous year, he had found himself in the position of being offered full-on flying instructor due to the leave of the previous professor. He had heartily accepted, and was anxious to see what this year had in store. The students he had taught the previous year in his advanced flying course had proven to be quite able. He hoped this batch would prove to be just as so. Nearing the staff table, his pace slowing and his eyes glancing about, Ewan's smirk softened into a gentle smile as he spotted her seated among their peers. Their eyes met, and his heart was sent soaring, as it did every time he laid eyes on her. Coming up behind her, he placed his free hand on her shoulder, leaning down until his mouth rested beside her ear. "Well hello there. Might I join you?" His voice came out husky and whispered, a gentle hum under the boisterous exclamations of the student body. The break over the summer had created so many amazing memories for Ewan, and had resulted in a happiness that he hadn't known for a long time. The woman that sat in front of him had given him something new to hope for in his life, and he dared to say that he cared for her very deeply. She calmed him, helped him see sides of things that he wouldn't on his own, broke down his tough exterior and found a gentle heart waiting beneath. She had roped him in, and he couldn't be happier.

Professor of Alchemy..............Ravenclaw"The cycle of life only goes one direction, not even alchemy can change that." ╔══════════════╗ Location: The Staff Table Thoughts: School never changes.. ╚══════════════╝
It was all so eerily silent- well, in his head at least, for some reason, he truly couldn't encompass a single thought as he watched and waited. The seer had sat, and once the gentle honey rays from his vision swept over the room, he watched the first years, and the staff as each presented themselves one-by-one, funny- he thought they were supposed to arrive first. The proverbial professors paraded in, the generous one that everyone is comfortable with, the one that everyone adores, new teachers, like himself, held the air of unfamiliarity as they gazed at the structure of the building as if it had been years-
And for most, that was true. The idle chatter drifted, in and out, little snippets had reached his ears, but nothing of importance- simple greetings, reminiscent stares, and murmurs of adoration-
How he of all people, had managed to become a professor, was beyond him. In fact, the very wizard who had sentenced him knew that.
The bloody nerve. Still, Angel had might as well make the best of his break from his personal studies, and was, at the least, relieved at the sight of younger, more- defined, professors then during his year. "Seems you're lot will have high chances for the cup this year," Juan commented, noting that a man an empty chair to the side of him had indirectly cheered for the house exponentially promoted- especially with the tie.
"Couple of good looking first years," He commented, nodding towards Raine and then Skyhart as they sat down at the scarlet adorned table. "Angel Amorocho," he introduced himself to McCrae with a small nod.

"For you this seat will always be open" Rian said grabbing her hand then kissed it softly. He missed her. Again his break had been filled with work. After she was seated he turned to look at her. "How was your break?" he asked with a smile. He couldn't get enough of the porcelain smoothness of her skin. Her hair flowed down around her face as if it were made of water and her eyes shined like the stars themselves. With her in his life he felt he could easily make a transition to poet if he wanted.(( OOC: Rian has a heavy Irish accent)) (( sorry for the short post))

Having beaten her brother there for yet the second year in a row, Avalon took a seat at the Staff Table. It appeared that there was already a conversation going about the House Cup. She always was rooting for Ravenclaw, as they had been her House in her years at Hogwarts. "Well, I see no reason not to," the World Studies professor admitted. "After all, we all have our sides to pick."± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Alyosha Loren McCrae "Cowards falter, but danger is overcome by those who nobly dare." An almost invisible, amused smile flitted onto Alyosha's pale lips. He let it fall of, as he turned to his left, blue gaze lazily drift on to a tanned professor seated not far from him. He nodded, silently agreeing with the statement. The number of students which the Gryffindor house had claimed, had been a stable one. And as for those taken, their potential did look well. It cheered his heart to see that his old house had a chance for the House Cup...and perhaps even the Quidditch one too. The brunette's gaze, then, went to follow the direction in which his colleague swayed his head towards. He briefly studied the two students, before recognizing them as ones which he had clapped for earlier. Amorocho then quickly introduced himself. "Yes, it seems like the new students are good batch, but you really don't know into one of them joins your class..." He commented, lips quivering upwards in a reserved smile. 'It'd be nice to have a full class,' he mused. Though he found it draining to interact with others, (like right now to a low degree), that feeling went away in the classroom, for he could teach about a subject he loved... The brunette's calloused hands swiftly moved forward to refill his goblet with spring water. "Alyosha McCrae," he announced, finally giving the professor his name. After taking a sip from his drink, he inquired politely, making small talk. "So, what are you hired here to do?" Cursebreaking Professor OOC: Sorry for taking Rian's surname on accident, Rose-chan. redface Maybe I should change the Mc to Mac... sweatdrop
