Location: Music Club Leonette smiled as David placed his hand on hers and gave her a kiss. She hadn’t realized he’d been in the room until then, luckily he hadn’t scared her. “No not really, just felt like testing my knowledge of all those music classes.” She replied with a smile as she looked over at him. “As for Leah, I think it might be good for her.” She added shifting over a bit for him to join her. As he took a seat next to her, Leonette thought about what plans she did have. “Yes, quidditch is sorted out and one less thing I have to worry about so to speak. I decided to leave the team in Julius’ capable hands despite how unsure he is on that one.” She told David honestly just glad to have that sorted out. “As for the club, I don’t know how brilliant my plans are since I’m mostly running off last year.” She explained with a smile. “So any idea if your sister and/or cousin will grace us with their presence today?” she asked, god she hoped so. Maybe I should have taken one of those instead of cooking. I probably would have done a lot better on my OWLs. Anyways, I'm glad you approve of my educational plans for Leah, since any kids I...we... have in the future I plan to do the same to."He shrugged and sat back looking at her as the conversation went to quidditch and her leaving the team to Julius, who he just nodded about. It seemed odd that the guy who seemed fairly confident-or at least confident enough not to be phased by Sapphire being a protective big sister and no doubt giving him threats about his intentions with Caleana-would lack confidence in his capabilities. The guy was a prefect and you never heard about him causing any issues. He wasn't particularly flashy or noticeable, despite having blue hair, but then again he was in a house where most people were competing to take center stage. "My sister? I wouldn't know, I mean she's not really the musical one of my family," David said. "I know she has fun here but she has quite a few OWLs too... as for Wendy." David shrugged. "I figure she'll show up eventually. I mean she inherited her mother's talent-or apparent talent-for viola and harp. Might also help that her father before he decided to get himself locked up in Azkaban for being a hotheaded moron had Wendy start out fairly young. I assume Wendy likes it since she continues with them even now. Or were you talking about Sera? I don't think I've introduced you to her yet, not that I know her that well. Why?" He added raising a brow at Leo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vander had pretty much been dragged kicking and screaming to Music Club. Well. Not really, but Vander didn't deal with 'reality' most of the time, so- The point was, he was only here by the grace, or disgrace, or something, of one Wendy Chaisty. He was fairly certain he'd been half blackmailed, half coerced into coming along. It wasn't that Vander hated music, or anything like that. He rather enjoyed music. He liked playing the violin. It was just that his parents were under the impression he played the piano. He didn't. Anti did. They'd switched years ago.
He did not, however, like playing the violin in front of other people, so Music Club had might as well have been something like the third circle of Hell. He couldn't be sure. He'd probably be sure someday. Additionally, the club was ran by her cousin's fiancee, and that made the whole 'it's a small world' saying uncomfortably accurate. He didn't want to get to know her family and soon to be family. Did they know he and Wendy were betrothed? He entered the room with the older Slytherin and a scowl on his face, gripping his violin case defensively.
"Look, I've set foot in the room. That should fill up my quota for the day, right?" he sneered, before dropping moodily into a seat, casting a dark look over the rest of the room, then flat out ignoring Leonette and David in favor of glaring at Wendy. "I still can't believe I let you talk me into this. Because clearly it was a horrible idea that never should have been realized." Found yourself a path upon the ground, You ran into the night, you can't be found. But this is your heart; can you feel it? Their blood pumps through your veins. Summer evening, breeze is blue- Drawing voices deep from you. On a different path, led by a beating heart, What a year and what a night! What terrifying final sight! Put out your beating heart.

------------------------------------------------------------------------ xx Wendy had spent the time walking up from the Slytherin Common rooms, carrying her violin case in her hands, folded behind her back, primarily in silence, suppressing a small smile as Evander spent the time glaring at her. He might complain all he wanted but it wasn't like she forced him to come along. She may have 'nagged' him about it just a hair, but really she had said very little besides a few suggestions. He didn't even have to bring his violin with him if he didn't want-though she may have forgotten to mention that little fact to him about never having to perform. You didn't even have to play a musical instrument. She may have forgotten to mention that, but despite all that he actually did come. Obviously he wanted to, he just was too stubborn to admit it. She looked over at him, clutching his case to him as they stepped into the room, where Leo and David were busy being disgustingly clingy and cutesy like the happy Romeo and Juliet they had painted themselves. Well at least one of the engaged couples in the room was happy with the status. Besides it wasn't like Wendy was sporting some engagement ring showing off her status to the world like Leo was. Yeah, she was not wearing some engagement ring unless she was forced to and she'd poison the first moron who pointed out the fact she didn't have a ring yet to the Averys or Evander's meddlesome mother. "Oh, are you so weak willed you would let a girl talk you into something? Besides, I don't have horrible ideas," She said leaning close to him in a low voice and adding with a small smile and chuckle, "Besides, Mr. Lillantine, you look like a small child who got his lollipop stolen sulking like that."------------------------------------------------------------------------

He even sang a little too but he refused to admit that to most people. He just needed to do something with his life, maybe socialize a bit, no matter how painful that might be. Location: Music Club “Maybe but I appreciate that you trying to dive into the world of cooking even if it didn’t work out.” Leonette smiled. That smile widen at the mention of kids. “I whole heartedly do. In fact when we do have kids, I’ll leave the piano to you and I’ll make sure they are least know the basics of cooking.” She said knowing so long as they weren’t like David she’d be fine. When David went into answering her question Leonette nodded at the mention of Cathy. She expected with OWLs the music club would be the last thing on the Hufflepuff’s mind. “I was referring to Wendy but no you haven’t. I was actually quite surprised at the sorting when I heard the last name.” she commented before explaining why she even asked. “Simply put I was debating about leaving the club to one of them. I’m just unsure if that’s an insane idea or not.” She filled him in. Looking over at the door upon hearing complaining Leonette noticed Evander who was complaining to Wendy about being forced there. Whether he had been forced or not she didn’t really know but at least Wendy had someone to socialize with. It was better than her being off in a corner by herself. That thought just bothered Leonette even more since it only made her think about her sister who should have been there. “I would have left it to Mira but she never wanted to put up with me to join.” She said with a small sigh. Soon she noted a Ravenclaw boy that if she recalled correctly was in Grace’s year. Location: Music Club The music club was about the only time he could pin down Alice, at least last year. However, today the short girl was back to dragging him into the room. Jasper didn't mind being lead to the music room. He'd started taking up guitar but by no stretch of the imagination was he ready to play in front of people. Alice on the other hand wasn't much of a musical instrument person or a singer really. She just liked listening to the performances. Entering the room Alice led them over to the seating before letting go and taking a seat. "You better sit with me Jazz." she said not at all sounding as threating as it should have been. "You thought I wouldn't?" he asked her with a smile. "Of course not." she replied falling silent again. "Hey you wanted me to come remember?" Jasper commented not wanting her to act all defensive and against the idea of him being there. Like usual when he was right she didn't say anything and just continued to wallow in silence. xDavid Sinclair Averyxxxxx xxxx <7th Year> Time: 2029-2030 Location: Music Club Dressed: Casually ------------------------------------------------------------------------xx David smiled as she talked about the prospect of their kids (or the idea of it) and what they would teach them, and said, "I can make a sandwich and a very good salad at least. I mean I may turn into a rabbit if it was just me to forge for myself, but at least I wouldn't starve. We probably should leave the cooking to you too, unless we end up getting a house elf, but the Averys got rid of any of the family house elves at least fifty years ago." He didn't add that he'd rather not ask why or where about the details of that one. Usually that was his theory on most things. Besides, he was in a good mood and didn't want to think too much on his less savory family members when Leo said it was actually Wendy she was referring to and her surprise at hearing the last name during the sorting. "It slipped my mind," David said, "She's my uncle's granddaughter. My family is sort of... convoluted? Mum's... well she was... at least ten years younger than all her other siblings so..." David paused his voice for a moment growing cold and then he continued more casually, "I'm sure we'll see her at the wedding. And my cousin-well cousins. And my uncles and aunts. I'd suggest eloping, but my grandparents would just make us have another wedding anyways," David added rolling his eyes and then raising a brow when Leo said that she was thinking of leaving the club to one of them. "No offense to your ideas, Leo, but Cathy would be a dreadful idea, even if she shows up, and she probably will, I'm pretty sure most of the club is more serious about the club then she is," David said. "Besides, she has quidditch to worry about... though I'm still debating hexing Elsie for making her Vice Captain." He glanced up as he heard complaining from a vaguely familiar Slytherin and spotted Evander with Wendy, and the two almost looked cozy. At least Wendy looked more at ease than she did sometime, or showing that she was capable of some sort of emotion, though what that emotion might be was beyond David to judge. He still wasn't sure if that arrangement was something that Wendy actually was thankful or not for. Wendy wasn't one to say, David knew that much. "Speaking of Wendy..." He said, nodding slightly towards Wendy and Evander, before going on about leaving it to Mira, "You could put Wendy in charge on the condition she take Mira up as secretary or something... I mean Mira and Wendy are friends. And I think Wendy respects your opinion... or as much as she respects anyone's."------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vander looked outraged at the notion that a: he was weak willed in any aspect and b: that he had been talked into anything by anyone, female or male. "You're pathetic," he muttered back, "If you think you can get me to get into it with you in front of your cousin and his little girlfriend." He resisted the urge to either lean closer or just get up and move seats when she had the nerve to practically whisper into his ear, while smiling and laughing. They probably looked like every inch the happy couple, he realized with a sense of disgust. "And also," he hissed, "I'll bloody sulk if I want to. You're not a very gracious winner." He realized at this point he was arguing just for the sake of having something to do. Found yourself a path upon the ground, You ran into the night, you can't be found. It can be reminiscent of our first 'date'," She ended, her tone sarcastic and she rolled her eyes ever so slightly as he retorted about his sulking. "Your sulking makes me want to be even less gracious of a winner, but at least you admit I won," Wendy added with a grin before she glanced to where Leo and David were and her grin slowly evaporated back into her neutral expression that was more typical of her and she said as she opened her viola case and began to polish the instrument which was already gleaming and then moving to inspect the bow, "Anyways, if you didn't want to be here in the first place, why did you bother bringing your violin?"------------------------------------------------------------------------

What a shame we all became XXSuch fragile broken things XXXA memory remains XXXXJust a tiny spark ♯♩♪♫♬♭♮Rory practically ran to the clubroom with glee, happy that finally finally it was time for Music club again. Outside of the actual class (and when she was skipping of course) this was one of the few places she could get enough inspiration to play and or write up her own music and share it with the populace. She saw the Leo hanging with that odd Ravenclaw David and knew they were dating so the were more than likely being all lovey dovey and decided to leave them alone. Then there were was the two Slytherins who sort of reminded her more of spiders than snakes arguing like they were a married couple. Adorable but really not. And then there were others spread around that she didn't know (mainly because they were many years younger than she was-gods) before she spotted a duo she did know and went skipping over to them. "Hey Alice, Jasper. Got anythin' up for queue today to perform?" she asked absentmindedly strumming the strings of her guitar as it laid by her side. ♯♩♪♫♬♭♮ ✲Wearing ✲Where~Music Club ✲With~Alice and Jasper ✲Finally!! Vander snorted. "Fiancee. Fine. If the wedding actually happens without someone getting cursed, I'll be shocked." But it wasn't as if he cared whether or not David and his future wife got their happily ever after. From what he understood (and he'd only been half listening while enraged) if they didn't marry and have an heir, he didn't even have to be with Wendy. His younger sister had to be with David. Anti would only be thirteen come the summer, so obviously there'd be a bit of a wait if that were to happen- and the small rational part of Vander knew it was highly unlikely.
He hadn't said a word about it to his sister, though he'd been severely tempted- Father had warned him not to discuss it with her, because she was just a little girl and would likely become upset, since she didn't understand these sort of things- and he'd also not brought it up because he wanted to let it 'slip' when he was really, truly furious with her. It'd be the ultimate trump card. Of course, it would be useless if the Avery heir immediately got his wife with child and it was a boy that wasn't a squib. But Vander was willing to hold onto the information for now. He could be calculating; sometimes.
"I can hardly wait," he mumbled with an unconvincing level of mock enthusiasm. "Perhaps we'll get lucky and something will be poisoned. Imagine the excitement." He narrowed his pale eyes at her when she grinned, though he was a bit surprised she was being so open right now. Obviously she was at ease in Music Club. Maybe she trusted her elder cousin not to rat her out for anything, or her love of music was overriding her usual walls. The fact that he knew so much about Wendy made his stomach twist uncomfortably. He cast her viola a scornful glance; everyone knew violins were the superior instrument, and gave her an incredulous look. "Yes, I was going to be dragged along to a meeting of the Music Club and not bring a musical instrument. Genius, Wendy. Are you sure you're not a Ravenclaw?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ xx Wendy sighed at Vander's snort and said her voice light her expression neutral, "Oh, Mr. Lillantine, you should know how our sort are, we'd rather wait till after the party to ruin our lovely party attire." She began to work on tuning her strings, listening carefully to the instrument while half listening to Vander mumbling about how he could hardly wait and that if they were lucky something would be poisoned, she answered, "Good thing I've taken to carrying a bezoar with me. I'm sure poison might be interesting to me, though I don't know how it might be if you are puking with the rest of the guests. Or is that what you consider exciting. I dear say I hope the wedding is quite boring, beyond the gossip."She fell silent as she went back to tuning her instrument with exactness as she felt his eyes on her, critical, and she looked up to see his scornful look that was directed more at the viola than her at the moment and her brow creased some a bit perplexed as he answered her about the musical instrument. "Shame I'm not a Ravenclaw, I'd probably have been seen unworthy to be lumped with you by your no doubt lovely mother," She answered her tone sarcastic but guarded of any true emotion as she answered, "And if you haven't noticed plenty don't show up with an instrument. The club doesn't require musical talent, it only requires an appreciation of music."She picked up her bow as she finished tuning the viola and began to tighten the strings and said, "Well, I've never heard you play so I suppose that'll be interesting. Though, violin seems an odd choice, unless say your father played it first...?" She raised a brow at Vander and then shook her head and said, "Better yet, don't bother answering, I'm sure you only have some snide remark to that. And I don't feel like debating on what instruments we picked up and the why." She stood as she picked up her viola, and case and glancing to Rory Bolan, gave the Gryffindor a small nod before walking over to Leo and David. Rory might be the equivalent of gutter trash, and played far less traditional of musical tastes as Wendy did, but the girl was one of the best musical talents in the club and Wendy couldn't help but respect that. Besides, even a muggle could be a good musician. Wendy said, "Good day, Miss Mitchell, David... please excuse me, I was giving a new member a proper introduction. Apparently Mr. Lillantine is itching to show off his violin skills. Cute really."David raised a brow at Wendy and glanced at Leo and said, "I suppose my sister isn't coming today, do you care to start us off then? I mean the club should at least get formalities out of the way. Don't let my ramblings hold up progress after all. And Rory is here at least," he added to Leo with a wave of his hand as he turned on the bench and raised a brow at Wendy, a bit suspicious of his cousin's assessment of Evander. Who knew maybe the Lillantine heir had irritated her or perhaps Wendy was being genuine. After all, Evander did manage to get Wendy to smile about something not too long before she came over. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

xWendy Madeline Chaistyxxxxx xxxx<5th Year> Time: Start of the 2030-2031 Location: Music Club Dressed: Casually
------------------------------------------------------------------------ xx Wendy had come up to the music club classroom with Mira. Together they were to run the music club and Wendy had a feeling that Leo would never had handed over the club to her if it hadn't been for her friendship with Mira or David. And to be honest there had been some strain to Mira and Wendy's friendship no thanks to the wedding. But, honestly what was Wendy supposed to have done? If she would have went and admitted that Mira willingly and happily dated a half-blood and member of a blood-traitor family, she knew how that would have went with her father. He would have been furious. Probably banned her from speaking to Mira ever again, and knowing her luck found or convinced someone to interfere with her ever speaking to Mira again. Cyrus, Evander's little brother, probably would have happily done it just to be obnoxious as for whatever reason he seemed to decide it wasn't enough to try to get under Evander's skin. Honestly, considering that Cyrus was someday to be her future brother-in-law, she'd think he would try to win points with her. She had few people she would be happier to poison then Cyrus at the moment: who knew Evander wasn't completely exaggerating on the lack of likability of his little brother. She decided to push aside the idea of the future family she was arranged to marry into and focus on the music club. She may have been instructed musically to follow her mother footsteps and be like her mother according to her father, but Wendy truly did enjoy music. She even had arranged to have a decent harp shipped in and added to the music classroom. She would happily even teach a mudblood the beauty of that instrument if one asked, because the one thing Wendy realized early on is music was something that crossed all boundaries of blood and even species. Even dogs had an ear for music and the merpeople had a better ear for music than humans they said. It might be fun to learn mermish, Wendy thought before turning to Mira and asked, "Do you have the paperwork ready? We were sure to notify everyone right?" Wendy didn't like to admit it but she was sort of nervous about running the club, even if she was musical. Besides her tastes were more classical than modern. She should have dragged Evander up there but knowing Evander he would have been just rude at Mira. Wendy didn't see why it mattered if Mira was fond of whomever or not. Besides her habit of spending time with Benjamin. She swore she found blue hair dye in her shampoo once and she only looked because of a rumor he was talking to Peeves about getting some. Seriously who was that juvenile? You'd think how much time he spent snogging Morven and trying to do more and with OWLs on the horizon he wouldn't have time to try to pull his petty pranks and play his nonsensical games. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Location: Music Club After what happened at the wedding and everything there after, Mira wasn't sure about this whole music thing. However she understood why Wendy said what she did. No matter what Wendy did or said Mira knew she was her friend. They both didn't have a large pool of friends and despite her dislike for Wendy at first she came to like her over the years. Sadly Mira was just afraid to speak her mind to Wendy and tell her what was actually on her mind. Like about Benjamin... it took everything she had to even mention that her red-headed friend didn't agree with the two hanging around each other.
Regardless, Mira had told Wendy at the end of last year that she would help run and organize the music club. She wasn't about to break that off over a little trouble they had during the summer. That was behind them. As such Mira went with Wendy papers in hand, from the Slytherin common room to the music room. Placing the papers on a small table, Mira honestly didn't know what she was doing but she could at least try. She had sent out notices to all the houses about the club and hopefully some people would be interested. "Yes, on all accounts. Paperwork's right here completely with a self-inking quill. Memos were sent to each of the houses." Mira answered her friend. "So, how do these things usually go exactly? Since, I've never actually been a part of the music club or any club for that matter. Well... unless you include Quidditch." she asked curiously. It was because of her dislike for her older sister that she never joined any clubs other than the Quidditch team. Sadly her sister had joined all of them and she didn't want to deal with her. Thus she avoided even the one thing she wasn't all that bad at which was singing. If only she hadn’t been so stupid.
