Kasamir was flying about the pitch trying to spot Bludgers and keep them getting too close to their high-priority players, and Csuri topped the list. Sure enough, there was an iron cannonball arrowing into towards their Seeker. 'Another game, another Knapp,' grumbled Kasamir inwardly, he'd been hoping this wouldn't be another endurance match like their last one. The Russian sped in to attempt to deflect the Bludger off its intended course...
...With a deft touch, the Russian spared Csuri the Bludger's wrath, and redirected it towards Everly

Brianna found the cold wind aloft was simultaneously keeping her quite awake and alert, while simultaneously giving her a headache, although the latter might have been because of the coffee. Hmmm, naw, couldn't be that. Orbiting the pitch, she was taking the chance to survey the state of the game. Ravenclaw's new Chaser managed to get a shot on goal, but it was denied by Vik, who tried to lob the Quaffle back to Brianna, only to have Everly pick up a turnover.
The veteran Chaser rolled inverted and threw herself into a steep dive to pick up speed and set-up one of her head-to-head jousting passes, in hopes of forcing another turnover...

'What the heck's wrong with me?' the white-haired veteran Beater asked herself as they game was getting into the thick of things, and she seemed to be moving in slow motion. Already Serghei took a shot on the Slytherin goals, and even though he'd been blocked, it let the Snakes know they'd come to play, and they weren't going away quietly. Brianna tried to get the ball from Everly after the latter snatched up a fumbled exchange.
Now there was a missile speeding towards Everly, courtesy of Slytherin's up-and-coming Beater, Kasamir, and now... Well, it was time for Linsey to try to earn her keep out here...
... 'Well, barely....', she thought sourly, as she just managed to shift the offending cannonball off-course, tapping it with the end of her Beater's bat, and that was about the all of it. 'Need to do better than that if we're going to win today...'
