Alriiiiight! It was down to the final two matches of the season. This is where all the hard work of the year would pay off for one team. So far, Hufflepuff was holding the points majority, but there was still a chance for Slytherin and Ravenclaw, depending on how this game went. Gryffindor was more playing for pride, but Xiang had done that a few times through her years as well. Sometimes seasons just went sideways! She'd gotten to the pitch early as always, doing her checks to make sure everything would be safe and perfectly set up before the teams rolled in.
As they did, Xiang grew more and more excited. She was chatting with a few of the kids, then Marni as she strolled over and to where she usually stood to watch the game. This one wasn't the upcoming Knapp-Fiasco, but there could certainly still be some action play by these Beaters. It was always a fascinating study to see which preferred offence and which went defensive. After drifting to thought for a second, Xiang shook herself out and chirped her whistle to summon the kids skyward. "Good morning boys, girls, and flying squirrels! Today we've got a match up between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, game five of our season! Both teams are ready and in order? Good, good!"
Xiang released the bludgers, then the snitch, before taking the quaffle in hand. Flying to the dead-center of the pitch, she continued her words. "Alright, as always, no cheating and no magic. And have fun! Chasers are ready, here's the ball!" She threw the quaffle straight up and quickly backed out, preparing to watch the match.

The game was started and Hes mounted her broom. Her eyes were locked onto the quaffle, but she glanced over to see who from the Hufflepuff team was going for it... Bieito... great... well, at least it wasn't a seventh year that she was matching up against. The second year had battled several much older students this year and came out on top, so why not now.

Going for the quaffle at the same time as Bieito led to a comical collison, at least for the people watching. Hesperia's face collided with Bieito's shoulder and pain sprang into her face. Tears rimmed her eyes, but the girl shook it off. A little blood in the nose was how you knew you were aalive. She looked around to see that Ben had the quaffle now. Wiping away her tears, she dove at him, trying to steal the ball for Slytherin.

After popping the Quaffle out of Benjamin's grasp, the Seventh Year Slytherin Chaser tucked the misshapen lump under her arm as she executed a hard flip turn that had her flying upside down at one point as she started her own run for the Hufflepuff goals.
