Relationship Status: Single // Age:13 // Injuries/Illnesses: None // Orphan Following after his best blonde friend and his new blonde friend, Leo sat down at the Slytherin table, next to Amanda. The Sorting Ceremony begun, and Leo clapped as the new serpents joined their table. Unlike most students at Hogwarts, Leo really could care less for the old-fashioned House rivalry, but he went along with it, content to not stand out. What he was most interested in at this point in time was the ability to eat his first decent meal in several months. The boy had an unfortunate cycle of living quite well at Hogwarts and gaining a healthy, comfortable, though still skinny weight, and then returning to the streets over summer and dropping back down to a dangerously unhealthy weight. But he had become accustomed to the lack of food, and Amanda had graciously provided him with some when he visited her over the summer. Nonetheless, his first nine years of royalty had instilled a fine taste in food in him, and he was eager to get his hands on some. ((OOC: )) Fear has its use but cowardice has none.

Damien EdgeworthSlytherin // Second Year // Slytherin Table // WearingCURRENTLY WITH // No oneCURRENTLY FEELING // Tired; agitatedCURRENTLY THINKING // 'I'd forgotten how much of a bother this feast is...'═════════════════════════════════ Damien sat at the table, his back erect and his posture perfect, but in truth, all he wanted was to go to his dorm and go to bed. Obviously, that wouldn't be happening any time soon; he'd have to ask a prefect for the new password, and he didn't even see any. The entire process of the Sorting and the Feast was dreadfully tiresome, and he was already exhausted. Being confined to his room all summer following the incident had really done a number on his tolerance of both people and... really, doing anything except reading. He wished he could go to bed... he almost wished that he were home; the only thing stemming that desire was this thought that had been niggling in his mind. This thought that, perhaps, his parents saw him more as a source of shame than an heir worthy of his noble name. His family line, on both his mother's and father's sides, was one of nobility. Their line was pure, strong, and powerful. But, in his childhood, he had befriended a halfblood, and last year, he'd completely failed at performing even the simplest of spells, right up until the only possible moment where failure was preferable to success. It was as though God had wanted him to suffer some horrible trauma... but why? Part of him thought it might be because he'd brought such shame to his family by failing to perform his spells in class, and for what had happened with Adalaide Blythe when he was young. But wasn't God supposed to have better things to do than punish individual people? And yet, he couldn't bring himself to summon the same shame in himself for those failures as in the past, as he really should feel. Honestly, he was more ashamed at his lack of shame. And that was confusing... and he was so tired. He slouched in his chair for a moment, a single lock of hair falling from its perfectly combed position. He stared at it for a moment, that lock, and then sat back up straight, giving himself a small mental shake. He would get over this; the fact that he hadn't was positively unacceptable. He let out a sigh, staring up at the Sorting Ceremony... there were so many of them... too many. This would take forever.

Eliora BlakeFirst YearSlytherin Eli nodded when Joshua said that she got her wish. "Yea, i guess i did!" She frowned after a moment though. "You don't look too happy about being here." She nodded to the girl, Penny, who was welcoming First Years to Slytherin. "The people seem nice enough. And i mean, like i said, Slytherin is smart and athletic and everything good about any house... You seem to fit the bill. Don't you think?" She cocked her head sideways a tad, blinking at him curiously, then shrugged. "It'll be ok. Promise." She smiled at him again. Her hand raised to start to place a comforting hand on his shoulder, but then she thought better of it. She didn't know him that well yet. Currently:Slytherin Table with Joshua. Outfit: Slytherin Uniform. Accent:Very Welsh. Thoughts: I wonder what types of food there will be?

William Dante Nott the Third Sixth Year, Slytherin Prefect The prefect slithered in daunting silence as his peers lingered to their respective houses in robes of bold, identical colors. With a ruffle of black hair sliding through his fingers, Dom stalked, towering and with purpose. He had grown at least a few short inches over the summer, easily mistaking him for an upperclassmen to the unknowing eye. He glanced around in search for his cousin, not seeing her, he decided to sit near the first years who had just joined their ranks. "Welcome to Sytherin," Dom announced, his deep voice echoed, directed toward the first years around him.

Eliora BlakeFirst YearSlytherin Just after Joshua thanked her, another boy, one with dark hair and striking features, appeared, sitting near them. He welcomed all of the first years. Wow. He's wicked cute... Eli thought, then blushed. At eleven, she was just starting to get into the boy-watching phase, and Dom had definitely caught her eye. He's got to be way older than me though! she thought, resigning herself. She waved slightly at him, a bit awkward since she was new. "'Lo then, i'm Eliora Blake. An' you are?" She smiled sweetly. The sixth year made her way to one of the empty seats at the table. She had never really had any specific part of the table she enjoyed sitting at like some members of the house did. Already, there were several first years at the table. Vanessa smiled politely at them as she settled completely into the seat. The blonde wasn't sure how she had ended up late, She was certain she had managed to overcome that habit of hers. A soft sigh escaped the female's lips as she set her notebook on the table next to her plate and untensil. She had to admit that she was a bit hungry but knew that until the sorting was over she wouldn't get to eat. It was clear that there was a strong mixture to them being sorted into the Slytherin house from amoung the first years. This caused Vanessa to want to add more observations into her book. It seemed to the girl that she had added more in the start of this year then in previous ones.

Perhaps it was because she was just slow moving, or maybe she still felt saddened by the fact that Erianthe was dead. However, there was reason to be happy with Erianthe. After after all, her sister was a ghost now. That had to count for something.
The prefect sat quietly, not quite noticing any new students to her house yet. She was sure there were some. After all, there were always a few new ones. Elitist families still existed in the world. Instead of paying attention to the sorting, Jasmine started looking for her sister. The ghost had to be around here somewhere.◄

How did we get here? When I used to know you so well? Marina Eugenie Aldred, Proud Halfblood, Slytherin Second Year
Wearing Mood: Bitter Thoughts: Why so many?!
Marina watched as student after student were sorted into Slytherin. There were many, too many in her opinion. How many cunning, ambitious, resourceful kids could there be?! To her further chagrin, most looked absolutely delighted. There were no expressions of horror or nervousness. None of them looked like their whole world had just been flipped upside down, like she had probably looked. Maybe there wouldn't be too many purists this year. Another halfblood or two perhaps? A muggleborn? She tried to picture a muggleborn getting sorted into Slytherin. The purists would probably lynch them or something, she thought darkly. These first years had no idea what they were getting into. Slytherin wasn't exactly fun and games. She refrained from screaming in frustration, but she was beginning to feel like even more of an outsider. So instead she sighed inwardly, and turned to answer Ronyo. "It's good to see you again too, Ronyo. My summer was fine. Very quiet." If by quiet you meant locking yourself in your room for hours on end. Seeing as that was what she'd spent most of her time doing. She hadn't wanted to go anywhere, see anyone, or do anything but stare blankly at the ceiling and toy with her wand. Yes, very quiet. "Endurance is nobler than strength, and has more patience than beauty."
How did we get here? Well I think I know...

He heard the voice of another girl comment that he was talking to her cousin. As he turned to face her he said "Who is your cousin?" Now that he was facing her he didn't know what to think of her. Ronyo Storm - Slytherin Sixth Year Great Hall/ Slytherin Table Ronyo smiled as Marina spoke of her summer being quiet, that would be a nice change of pace compared to how most of his summers went down. It seemed though the girl was not entirely happy about how her summer had transpired and by her eye movement and tone it made it sound like other things plagued her mind. Looking up to watch the large group of Slytherin coming their way Ronyo looked over the new lot as they passed by and for most of them gave a sigh. Why did cunning and ambitious have to coincide with selfishness or ideas of superiority? Without their magic a wizard was no different than a muggle, and most of the time that was the only thing that separated the two cultures. “Interesting group is it not? Makes you wonder if this house is forever cursed to house those that will forever keep us rooted in ideas of selfishness. Of course the only way that can change is by other believing the house is more than that, and pushing to make such a change in appearance hold. Sometimes the ambition of a Slytherin should be in the betterment of the house and show that not every Slytherin is a snake.” Ronyo smiled as he remembered how his words had rung true during the battle with the demon that had possessed his best friend. His patronus had manifested in the fight when Ronyo pushed himself and the spell to hold the demon until the adults could properly destroy Roi. Ronyo hoped he would get the chance to show his patronus as it truly reflected him in many ways. ((OOC: Please follow the link for information regarding the summer events for readers info. Thick, calloused fingers curled around the handle of pumpkin juice-- he honestly hadn't expected too many to answer him, being too thrilled or depressed to notice. The house of Slytherin was like a double bladed edge, no matter what, there was always a sharp point in the end. Thoughts interrupted, sparkling oceanic eyes curiously followed the voice of a girl, a girl he then learned, was named Eliora. A smile grew and then dimples adorned each cheek as he veered towards her. "Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Dominic Montague, second year," he introduced himself personally with a small flashing grin and wink of his eye. "So, how do you feel about being in the house of snakes?"

With a thousand lies And a good disguise Hit ‘em right between the eyes MICHELLE CATLIN
|||Slytherin|||Pureblood|||Second Year||| Michelle's keen grey eyes noticed multiple things all at once. For starters, Dominic and Damien had joined the table almost at the same time although they didn't sit near each other. Damien looked rather put off still. Something was definitely wrong there and that would just make her revenge all the better. A small twisted smile danced on her lips.
Her eyes shifted to the next thing she had noticed. A small first year girl had joined the table and although she didn't look the way Marina had last year she definitely wasn't excited to be joining the snakes. Which was interesting to say the least.
Thirdly Tay had finally decided to grace the Slytherins with his presence. She made a mental note to talk to him about getting his help in seeking revenge on Damien and Dominic. She was sure he'd be in to any kind of destruction if she knew him well, and she was certain she knew him at least well enough to peg that.
Finally, Michelle heard the answered reply of Jade the new first year and she shifted her attention back to him. "Gracie." She nodded her head in the direction of the Ravenclaw table where the blue haired girl was sitting rather lonely like. "Blue hair, kinda crazy. Totally loveable." Michelle smirked at her accurate description of the Ravenclaw. She was sure getting points for Gracie in this boys book would come around to help her at some point in time. OOC:...
