As soon as the balls were released by Professor Jones, Fianna was in the air looking for the Snitch. 'We need to find it, grab it, and call it a day today,' she thought, the red-haired lioness. 'No drama, all-business.' She needed a good start today if she was to compete with Gavin. Once up to a nice distance above the inevitable scrum for the Quaffle, Fianna started her search.

He positioned himself to be able to go for the tossup, so when the quaffle was in the air, he flew forward, reaching out to grab the ball away from Bas, the Gryffindor.

Gavin had a slower start than he would've liked to admit, but he almost collided with one of the chasers and had to pull himself out of the way of the quaffle and into higher ground. Picking a random direction, he hurled into the air and kept eyes peeled for gold. The rush of wind whistled and just as he turned to see a bludger hurtling at his chest, Ahnna swerved in to block. ”Thank you!” he shouted to his captain and continued his search.

Glaring, Eve took off to try and save her teammate, intending to send the bludger riht back at Ahnna.
