Astronomy: A
Even though she had a bit longer to learn the material, James had issues staying awake during the class the second time around due to what she went through with her kidnapping. Because of this, she was only able to study so much.
Charms: O
James has always done well with charms and makes sure to have time to practice. With her new wand, her charms have been even more refined.
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O
Since being kidnapped and feeling helpless, James has worked very hard on DADA to make sure that nothing like that ever happens to her again.
Herbology: E
James has never quite loved herbology, but she sees its use and so she has worked at it quite a bit in her free time.
History of Magic: E
A boring class that James hardly pays attention in. She gets by on her writing and intuition.
Potions: A
James is good at following directions. What she isn't good at is waiting.
Transfiguration: O
Transfiguaration, like charms, has always come easily to James. It is something that she has not had to work too hard on.
Healing: O
Due to her sister's nightmares, James puts everything into her healing class in order to see if there is anything that could help her.
Cursebreaking: O
After being under the sleeping curse, James became very interested in learning how curses work and how to break them.
