Although he got an O on the OWL and is good at wand work, his attention wasn't exactly present during class, and he did not try his hardest. However, since this class came rather easily for him, it didn't take much to stay higher than A level.

xxxxxxxDefense Against the Dark Arts - A
Although he got an O on the OWL and is good at wand work, once again, his attention span sort of died off in this class. In previous years, he had to really try to achieve the best grade. This year, he lost interest and only cared enough to pass. The A is a high A; nevertheless, it is still an A.

xxxxxxxPotions - E
Same grade as the OWL because it is not wand work, so he did have to work to achieve the grade he got. However, it's just simply following instructions which isn't too hard to do as long as he pays attention and stays focused on his work. Usually, he did, but sometimes, he got a little distracted.

xxxxxxxAlchemy - O
Alchemy was one of the tougher subjects, but it is interesting, and Cameron definitely had to focus on it to get an O and beat his OWL grade of an E. The boy usually did well in that course, and after more concentration on the course, he managed to receive a low O.

xxxxxxxCursebreaking - E
Another course that Cameron took a liking and an interest to, but he had to really focus on this class. Even though he concentrated and did his homework, that wasn't enough to beat his OWL score, but he didn't get a lower mark either.

xxxxxxxMuggle Music - O
Muggle Music has always been an easy course for Cameron since he grew up playing the guitar. Both his OWL exam and NEWT exam scored a solid O.

xxxxxxxWandlore Studies - P
Although a fairly easy course if Cameron were to study, he got a P. He found the course interesting near the beginning, but as he went on to sixth and seventh year, he seemed to have lost interest in the textbook based class. Instead of doing his homework or studying, he studied for other classes or goofed off elsewhere.
