- Jer got the spells easily enough, but not necessarily the art of cooking down. While he could make things that were passably edible, it didn't mean they always tasted good. This translated into his OWL as well, as he used the spells correctly and answered the questions on the test with reasonable success, however he happened to burn his dish during the practical, thus only getting an Acceptable.
♓ Ghost and Ghoul Studies OWL - A
- Jer was fine with learning about all the creatures that went bump in the night. What he didn't care for too much was the amount of bookwork when he preferred more hands-on work. Thus, he only gained an Acceptable for the test.
♓ Wandless Magic Practice Class OWL
♓ Wandlore Studies OWL - D
- Jer thought that by going into this class, he could get a better understanding of how to use a wand. Unfortunately, he didn't, and stopped paying attention after the first year in it. Thus, Jer gets a Dreadful.
