"Y--yes," she replied blushing to his question about being his girlfriend.

[Castle Alfitaria, Selone's room] Eldin loved hearing Aulona's voice, it was beautiful. Your voice is beautiful, Aulona. That was a lovely song. We'll talk more later. Eldin gave Aulona a kiss before exiting Selona's room, then closed the door for the girls privacy.
Shall we get changed into the ballgowns, Aulona? Selona went with the ballgown in hand to her changing screen to get changed first. Do you like my ballgown, Aulona? Selona asked Aulona.
Aulona nodded as she went to get ready to change into her gown. She was quiet while thinking of various things. "Yeah. It looks pretty," she replied when asked if she liked Selone's gown.

Care to see it Selona asked Aulona as she went to show her. The girls can hear Alfitaria's Chancellor's voice: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8... Shameal, Shamazel! Hackensack incorporated! It was Laverne Marshal, she had blonde hair, blue eyes and wore a green attire.
Oh, hello, Selone. Who's your friend? Welcome to Castle Alfitaria, I'm Laverne Marshal, Chancellor. I moved to Ivalice from Pennsylvania a year ago. That is a nice dress, you look like a princess. Laverne said to Aulona introducing herself
"Yeah," she replied, just as she heard a man announcing something. Seeing a woman, she did a curtsy. "Thank you. It's nice to meet you. I'm Aulona from Riverin." It felt weird hearing that she looked like a princess, as she thought that they seemed a lot more gracious than her.

Aulona felt excited about the ball, really looking forward to see what it would be like. She could imagine it being very different from the village festivals back home. She got ready to follow outside to the carriage.

I think this will be a lovely evening together. Selona said to Aulona as she got in the carriage.
"Yeah," Aulona replied smiling kindly as she got inside the carriage to sit next to Eldin. "I think so too" She had no idea what to expect once they would get that, and that alone was exciting enough.
