Astronomy ~ O
--Cley enjoys learning about the stars, their positions, their stories, all of it! It took a while to become nocturnal enough to enjoy the class but he's never regretted it. Acing the test was pretty much guaranteed.
Charms ~ O
--Charms was a very straightforward class which he liked. Incantation+wandwork=bam, results. Still though, he studied and practiced long enough that he definitely earned his perfect score.
Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ A
--Cley doesn't do well with confrontation and while this was technically about learning defense it was still hard for him. While his practical scores might be low, his written were good enough to keep him from failing.
Herbology ~ EE
--Due to spending most of his time with his grandparents, Cley developed a love for gardening and herbology early. He wasn't particularly good at it at the moment, but for the well being of his academic career and his own arse he studied his way to a passing grade.
History of Magic ~ EE
--Cley didn't mind learning and memorizing facts and figures and in some instances it was even interesting. Not all the time, but sometimes! He may have flipped flopped on some minimal dates but he still managed to pass.
Potions ~ EE
--Potions was a bit like cooking except if you messed up and added too much salt he wasn't at risk for a literal explosion just a sad unrisen soufflé. But the important part was that it was all about following directions which was something Cley could definitely do. He managed to under-stir on one of the steps which had his final coloring a tad off but ultimately he was given a pass.
Transfiguration ~ A
--Unlike with Charms when he could follow a simple formula (ok yes he DID know there was a formula but! it involved math!) Cley couldn't really follow this class much. It also hadn't helped that a prank gone wrong caused him to miss most if not all his practical. Still, he studied hard enough that he could pass just under the radar.
Alchemy ~ EE
--This class was definitely something Cley hadn't thought he'd enjoy or be good at but to his surprise it was both. The were a few slips on the written portion but he was able to make it up in the practical and pass with flying colors.
Divination ~ EE
--His grandmé was bit into divination and thus it translated easily over to him as well. She favored tarot but he's always had an eye for tea leaves and sand. While definitely not a seer, he could at least "predict" his way to a passing grade.
Healing ~ EE
--Cley figured it was just good logic to have a decent skill in healing even if he had no interest in going into a medicinal career. He thought his bedside manner was passable but apparently nagging a patient was enough to bump him down a grade.
Mythology ~ EE
--This was pretty close to history but much more fantastical, which he enjoyed! Studying and reviewing for this exam didn't feel like a chore and while he may have flubbed a bit on the practical, he did well enough to pass.
Wandless Magic Practice ~ EE
--If there's one thing Cley would say he was inadvertently good at it's regulating his emotions; a very good thing for this particular class. He rather liked the idea of doing spells wandless and despite an overpowered aguamenti at a poor proctor he did very well!
Wizard Law ~ A
--Cley figured what his parents being...his parents it would be good to have a general understanding of the law. What he neglected to understand was just how dry and tedious the law could truly be. While he could get through most of it he figured that if worst came to worst, he could always hire a solicitor. He barely scraped a pass by the skin of his teeth.
