- ■ Syd found learning about planets to be interesting. All of their different properties and colours sure made for some interestingly creative projects, which allowed him to soak in the information for the exam and do well.

- ■ Syd's passion got in the way of his performance of charms. When it came to charms, one had to be delicate in their wand handling, which he thoroughly lacked. This caused him to fail the class.
xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd's passion, if anything, helped him do well in defending against magic. He was extremely focused in duels, which allowed him to do well.
xxxHERBOLOGY ~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd loved forests, plants and nature. It was no shock that he had gotten an O.
xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Txxx
- ■ Syd did not care enough about history to focus on studying for the class. Instead, he focused all of his energy and efforts into other classes and ended up failing miserably.
xxxPOTIONS ~ EExxx
- ■ When he was focused, he could perfect his potion work. However, he found that there was always a lot going on with potions that he couldn't quite concentrate on everything all at once. However, he did well enough in the class.
xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd's pliable wand came in handy when it came to Transfiguration. Then again, he did study quite a bit for this class.

xxxART~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd loved putting his free time into Art. Or into skateboarding. Or Quidditch. But a lot of his free time went into making art, which he was able to hand in as extra credit projects.
xxxCARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES ~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd found the magical creatures to be quite intriguing and interesting to learn about and interact with. Plus, a lot of the time, he was able to go into the forest, which was a bonus.
xxxCURSEBREAKING ~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd found the class captivating and truly focused his all on breaking curses. He viewed each one as a puzzle that he needed to solve, and he was proud of himself for being able to solve every single one within the allotted timeframe.
xxxDIVINATION ~ EExxx
- ■ Divination was captivating enough to grab Syd's attention throughout the class enough that he was able to retain information when studying and do well.
xxxGHOUL AND GHOST STUDIES ~ Axxx
- ■ Syd found doodling the different ghouls and ghosts more interesting than the course itself, but he doodled the relevant ones while his Professor lectured the class. This allowed him to retain enough information to pass.
xxxHEALING ~ Oxxx
- ■ Syd felt very strongly and compassionately towards others who were in pain, whether physical or emotional. His passion shined through when learning to heal others, so he was able to do outstandingly.
xxxMUGGLE STUDIES ~ Axxx
- ■ Similar to Ghould and Ghost Studies, Syd found doodling the different types of muggle technology and knick knacks to be more interesting than the class itself. But again, he retained enough information to pass.
xxxMYTHOLOGY ~ Axxx
- ■ Similar to Muggle Studies, Syd found doodling the different mythological creatures more interesting than the class itself, but retained enough information to pass.
xxxWANDLESS MAGIC PRACTICE CLASS ~ Axxx
- ■ Syd found his wand to be useful. After five years of working together, it had adapted to his style and worked with him. Wandless magi by comparison seemed more difficult. Luckily with lots of practice, he was able to pass.
xxxWANDLORE STUDIES ~ Oxxx
- ■ Wands were made of different types of wood, which all had unique properties. That was definitely his favourite part of learning about wands, but they also had very many other unique features such as their cores, flexibility, and length. This class piqued his interest, which allowed him to more easily focus on his studies and do outstandingly on the exam.
