We found Zetta with Lahari near the border in the center of Konoha. But just as we tried to persuade him to order a cease-fire, Lahari said something unthinkable. He claimed that Gwen was a fake princess. That's impossible! I couldn't believe it, but Lahari said he had proof. That made getting a cease-fire hopeless, and Count Zetta returned to the battlefield. Lahari seems satisfied in getting the war started like the Score says. And to think that Crystal City is so concerned about St. Binah falling...how can he still think the war is the key to prosperity?!
As if that wasn't bad enough, Lahari suggested to Sion that he return to Daath, and amazingly, Sion agreed. I don't know what he's planning, but I'm worried that Master Kyo will capture him again if he leaves our side.
But Lahari denied that possibility. He doesn't seem to approve of Kyo destroying the Sephiroth Trees and making the Outer Lands fall. It looks like Lahari and Master Kyo have different plans. Then I guess Sion's safe for the moment...
Sion left Saiyukiness with us, then returned to Daath with Lahari.
We decided to head for Baticul as a last resort and try to convince Uncle to stop the war. But the Highwind is being used to carry people from Holt, so we can't use it right now. Worse, we entered from the Malkuth side, and with the war going on the border is closed. If we can't cross over to Kimlasca, we can't reach Baticul. There must be a way around... We'll just have to search every nook and cranny in the town.
In order to cross the border, we tried entering the bar, which has doors on both sides, thinking we could just enter from one side and leave from the other.
But inside, the Dark Wings were demanding bribes to let people through. We made a deal with them and managed to make it to the Kimlasca side of the border...but just how long do we have to put up with them getting in our way, anyway?!
Well, I guess getting angry won't solve anything. Let's hurry to Baticul!
When we tried to leave Konoha for the desert, for some reason we were stopped. Apparently something's happened in the desert. A Kimlasca soldier went to Astor's place to report... Let's go ask Astor what happened.
