About her past: It had all started merely three years ago. One night when Kate Winters and Ana Harris were walking through the grave yard, they wanted to play ouija bored in the cemetery, weird yes, but both girls were quite odd to begin with. Anyway that was the night when both of them learned that vampires, creatures of the night, the living dead, were indeed real, and not just a fictional tale. Obviously both girls were very freaked out, but soon they had grown accustomed to the idea. From then on Kate had met a male witch who went by the name of John. The both of them loved each other...until Kate fell in love with Darren, a vampire. So one night Kate taking a walk and thinking over her options. You see, John didn't really know anything about Darren...that's right, Kate was now an unfaithful girlfriend! On her walk she was attacked and almost killed, by just a run of the mill chaos demon. Darren found her in time and changed her into a vampire. Kate liked the idea of living forever, but hated the fact that she had to pray on the living to, well, live. John found out about all of this. He was in a word, pissed...but he still loved Kate, so using magic turned her back into a human. Once again Kate was torn between her two men. On one hand she was in love with John. He was funny, crazy fun to be with, nice to her, he would do anything for her, but on the other hand she had Darren. He was dark and mysterious, he also worshiped the ground she walked on, and would also do anything for her. Turns out that one night Kate found John's diary, and 'accidentally' glanced at the recent entries. John was planning to perform a spell on Kate in her sleep, causing her to only love him. Well this helped Kate make up her mind. She left John and went with Darren, who immediately turned her back into a vampire. You think the story would end there, but that's where you would be wrong! Turns out that fate has a plan for us all. When Kate was out one night, finding some...uh...food, she came upon another vampire in a dark alley. (how cliche) Kate couldn't exactly see the other vampires face, but she did see the dim light of the streetlamp reflecting off his white fangs. He gave a small chuckle, and told her that he would see her again, but now was her time. Before Kate could say anything else, the other vampire slit her throat. Her immortal blood flowed freely from her body, as she slowly lost consciousness and died. Darren found her. He told Ana, who was still Kate's best friend, and then she told John. After the funeral both of Kate's lovers left the city, finding it too hard to stay there. Ana stayed. (good choice) Ana was living in her and Kates house. It was in a nice area. Ana was working at the local 50's themed Caf named Swingers. On her way home one day, she decided to visit her friend, Kate's, grave. They had been friends for so many years, so it was hard for Ana to let go. As she came closer to the grave, Ana saw someone standing in front of it. As she got closer she saw who the someone is. Oh hey! It was Kate. This was odd- no it was more then odd...weird, wacko, bizarre...let's just say that Ana was questioning her sanity. Kate was just as she had been before, only now she was human/alive again. She remembered everything that had happened to her, except she didn't know how it was possible that she was back...alive, again. Also she couldn't remember what had happened when she had died. Heaven? Hell? Purgatory? Who knew? Both girl's just found this as a blessing, and decided to move on with their lives., which wasn't very difficult considering that Kate had only been dead for around three months. And here is where the story really begins... Kate thrashed around in her bed a couple more times, before she finally kicked the blanket off of her. This was ridiculous! Why couldn't Ana just leave the air conditioner on during the nights? Whatever, she was up now, and there was no way Kate would be able to get back to sleep. She sighed loudly and looked at the clock on her dresser. One in the morning. It was still early...sort of. She sat up and slipped her black pants on and her dark red spaghetti strap on. She was feeling restless and wanted to go on a walk. She pulled her hair back into a pony tale, grabbed her purse and slipped on her sandals. As she walked down the dark street she looked through her purse just to make sure she had all the essentials. Cell phone, check. Cat treats, check. Cherry flavoured Pepper Spray, check. True she didn't have a wooden stake or anything to use against vampires or the forces of darkness, but pepper spray worked as a hell of a good distraction giving the victim, her, time to run away and get help. Kate took in a deep breath and felt the humid warm air fill her lungs. Summer was too hot, thank god it was almost over. She turned on her cell phone and slid it back into her purse as she rounded the corner to the park. It was dark with a single street light that gave off a orange-ish glow from beside a bench, in front of the lake. Kate immediately began to make little kissing noises. True she looked like a loon, but no one was around to see it. Finally after only two minutes a large orange cat appeared from under the bench. ''There you are!'' Kate cried as she walked over to the bench and took a seat. The cat jumped on her lap and Kate reached into her large purse to get the treats. The story behind the cat was that Kate had come across this stray cat one summer in the park, and fell in love with him. So every winter, when it got cold Kate took the cat into her and Ana's house, and then when summer would come around she would let Chandler, the cats name, go and would visit him all the time at the park. ''How can you still manage to breath with all that fur when its so bloody hot?'' The cat just laid down in Kate's arms and began to purr. Kate smiled and slowly laid back on the bench, and looked up at the stars. Hmm, there were lots of them out tonight, but no moon. She closed her eyes for a moment. There was loud snap. Kate bolted up, launching the cat off her belly and causing her to fall to the ground. She looked around, confused for a second about where she was. Right! I came to the park. Damn, must have fallen asleep. Why is it so dark? She looked up and saw that the lamp had burnt out...well she hoped it burnt out anyway. She looked around at the vastness of the open field and just to her right something caught her eye. There was a faint orange glow, then it was gone...smoke? Oh! Someone was smoking! Oh no! No one comes out this time of night to hide behind trees and smoke. Kate looked past the figure to the only path that led out of the park, damn he was blocking her only exit. Ok, I can do this. Just be calm. She got low to the ground and rummaged through her purse until she grabbed ahold of her phone and pepper spray. She quickly punched in her home phone number, and waited. One ring...two rings...''Come on Ana!'' she quietly whispered to herself. Finally after the sixth ring a sleepy voice at the other end answered. ''Hello?'' ''Ana, it's me! I'm in trouble...I think.'' ''Kate, are you phoning me from your room again?'' ''No, don't be stupid...I only did that,like,once-'' ''Try, like, three times, within the last week''! Ana said getting more annoyed. ''Ok, well I'm not in my room this time. I'm not even in the house.'' ''What? Where are you? What's going on? Why are you whispering?'' ''Ok, well I'm at the park. I fell asleep on the bench, and now there's a guy.'' ''A guy?'' ''Yes.'' Kate repeated. ''Oh no! A guy! He might, oh I don't know, ignore you to death!'' Ana said sarcastically. ''Obviously you don't think I'm in much danger.'' ''No, I don't believe you are. Just ignore him and come home, it's late.'' Ana said. ''Ana, this guy is evil!'' Kate hissed into the phone. ''What makes him evil?'' ''He's smoking!'' ''Well, I guess that proves it then. What kind of person would get horrible nicotine cravings and have to smoke in the middle of the night- oh! I know what kind of a person...A NORMAL ONE!'' Ana was obviously getting annoyed. Kate gave a short sigh and looked over to the man who was still smoking. Just then she saw it...proof! ''Nope, he's definitely evil.'' Kate said as she lowered her head closer to the ground. ''Why? Did he take out a evil cell phone? Making a collect call to his other evil friends?'' Ana said sarcastically. ''No...but I think the fact that his eyes flashed red could mean somethings off about him.'' Kate said in a very nonchalant voice. 'Oh,ok. I'm on my way.'' ''He's standing by the pine tree, blocking my way out of the park. What do I do?'' Kate asked with her hands trembling slightly. ''You wait until I get there, then I'll call you and tell you what I came up with.-s**t!'' ''What? What's wrong?'' Kate demanded. ''My cell phone. I left it in your purse when we went shopping earlier. Oh well. Just watch out for me, ok?'' Ana said. ''But how will I know what to do if I can't talk to you?...Ana?...Ana?'' Yoo late, she had already hung up the phone. She was always doing that! Usually she wouldn't even say bye! She would just hang up the phone. Great, this was just great. Kate stayed laying on the ground, then suddenly felt something brush against her ankle. She was about to let out a terrified shriek, but saw that it was only Chandler. Kate pulled the cat closer to her and looked over to the man, who still seemed to be looking at her. Why me? Always me? Some people have a bad day, or a bad week, but no, Kate was stuck with the bad lifetime! Bad luck seemed to follow her around everywhere. That's ok, she had her handy dandy pepper spray if things got really bad. She also had long nails, and she could bite, although if this was a vampire then he could also bite and he also would have nails, and crap! She would die- just then she noticed something moving by the path leading out of the park. She squinted to see...Ana! Kate looked closely and saw that Ana was trying to signal something to her. Kate watched as Ana made about twenty different hand gestures. Hmm...it seemed that she was performing a type of rain dance or funky chicken...well that's what it looked like to Kate anyways. She then noticed that Ana was looking at her and waiting for some sort of response. Kate only shrugged and watched as Ana smacked her own face with frustration, then commenced signing / doing the funky chicken all over again. This time Kate tried to understand as well as she could. Ana was signaling that Kate should...walk slowly towards Ana? Something to that extent-wait,no, Ana just gave her a thumbs up, which means be cool. Ok, now she got it! HA! It really is a brilliant plan! Ana stopped dancing around and looked at Kate, who only smiled and nodded, signaling that she understood the plan. Kate chuckled to herself as she stood up, threw her purse over her shoulder and began to walk confidently through the vast field. Ana only stared at her with her mouth hanging open in shock. The plan, Kate thought, was to walk right past the stranger as if he wasn't even there, and to do it confidently. I mean it really was a good plan, he would never see it coming! As Kate reached the halfway point she heard a evil sort of laughter come form the stranger. Kate froze and turned to face him. He walked out from the shadows. He had deathly white skin, short sandy brown hair and was wearing all black. Definitely a vampire, and he was laughing...at her! ''Whats so funny!?'' Kate demanded, a tad offended. ''Even I knew what she was trying to signal to you!'' he stopped to laugh, then continued, ''She wanted to you try to sneak past me, hoping that I wouldn't catch on, and then you could both run home.'' He laughed again. ''Well...uh...RUN!'' Kate yelled as she took off towards Ana. They both ran as fast as they could until they reached their house, then realized that they weren't being followed. When they had both gotten into the house, and locked the doors they both looked at each other and began to laugh. ''You moron! What did you think I was signalling you to do?'' Ana demanded. ''I thought you wanted me to confidently walk through the field, ignoring him.'' ''Why would I say that? It's suicide!'' ''Well, I thought it was quite a brilliant plan-and how the hell was I supposed to know what you were trying to tell me? It looked like you were dancing! What kind of hand signals were thoes?'' Kate did a mock impression of Ana, and they both laughed- but were interrupted by a scratching sound outside their back door. Both girls looked at each other and Ana started to walk towards the door. ''What do you think you're doing?'' Kate hissed at her, but Ana ignored her and peeked out the side of the window, then let out a relieved breath. ''What is it?'' ''Look for yourself! I'm going back to bed.'' Ana shuffled down the hall. Kate walked over to the door and looked out the window to see Chandler looking back up at her, and giving a little meow. Kate smiled, and opened the door to let the cat in. Then locked up and went back to bed. Yep, just another night, like every other night. part two ~ Mysterious Stranger~ ''Why do you always take so bloody long in the shower?'' Ana asked Kate, who had just stepped out of the steamy bathroom. ''I had to shave my legs.'' she said, as if that was the answer to all of life's questions. Ana just rolled her eyes. ''You know that I have to work in the next hour! Now because of you and your hairy legs I'll probably be late.'' Ana grabbed two fresh towels from the closet and set them down on the bathroom counter. ''Firstly, my legs are no longer hairy and secondly, it's your fault if youre late for work. Your shift starts at five and you're the one who slept in until two this afternoon and didn't even leave your room until three thirty.'' Kate was attempting to towel dry her hair, which always caused it to go in every direction, almost as if she had been electrocuted. ''I wouldn't have slept in so late and been so tired all day if it wasn't for you and that freak you saw at the park!'' Ana spat back at her friend. ''Well, the longer you stand here and talk about who's fault it is, the more time you waist and you will end up being late for work.'' Kate said with a smile as she turned around and waltzed into her bed room closing the door behind her. Ana only grumbled something as she shut the bathroom door behind her. ''Hmm, what to wear?'' Kate asked herself as she made her way across the room to turn on her stereo. Just as the old songs of Savage Garden started to play, Kate could hear Ana yelling quite loudly, something about Kate not leaving any more hot water. Kate rolled her eyes and blasted the song as loud as it could go. She smiled to herself and turned back to her wardrobe when the music suddenly stopped. Damn, she must have blown out the speakers. This sucked. She was craving to listen to some kind of music, any kind. Ou! I know! She thought to herself, as she jumped across her bed and began to wind up her old porcelain ballerina. It was a gift Kate had gotten for her second birthday. This little ballerina in a white tutu, and when you spun the bottom, the ballerina would move in slow circles to the Swan Lake theme. It was a lovely figurine, if only Kate hadn't dropped it by accident, then she was younger, causing the ballerina to loose her left arm. Oh well!'I'm leaving!'' ''Wait!'' Kate ran into the kitchen to see Ana all dressed up for work. Her uniform consisted of a large puffy pink poodle skirt, a pink angora sweater and her hair tied in a ponytail with a white scrunchy. True that the job was a tad degrading, but hey that's what you get for working at a 50's themed diner called Swinger's Kate stifled a laugh. ''Shut it! You know the uniform is mandatory. Now what do you have to say, whatever it is make it quick because I'm already late.'' Ana said as she rummaged through her purse for her car keys. ''You're taking the car?'' Kate complained. ''You have your motorcycle, don't complain-ah! Here they are.'' she said pulling out the keys. ''What time are you going to be home at?'' ''Not until one, I have to work yet another eight hour shift.'' ''Sucks to be you.'' ''Speaking of that, you should get a job!'' ''We weren't speaking of that! We were speaking of you and your bad job, nothing about me getting a job!'' whined Kate. ''I was speaking about how you should get a job and then you will know how much it sucks, and were talking about it now. I think you've had enough time to get back to...well normal so-'' ''Hold on a minute there! Just how long do you think it takes to get over being dead? Because I think I would know. I am so not over it yet!'' ''You told me you were over it last week...remember, when we were drinking those milkshakes I made for us...in the backyard...it was around nine thirty at night...come on! I know you remember.'' ''Whoa! Look at the time, you are going to be so late!'' Kate pointed to the clock on the wall and saw Ana's eyes go wide with shock. ''Crap! I am so late! This conversation isn't over!'' she cried as she ran out the door and towards her car, which she had taken the liberty of naming Captain Oats after Seth's horse on the O.C...both girls were very odd. Kate smiled at herself for avoiding yet another 'figure out where your life is going' conversation. How could she figure out where her life was going when her life had in fact stopped for three months? Life was so demanding! It was so much more simple when she was dead or a vampire, because then she had eternity to figure out what she wanted to do. Blah! No more talk of immortality or death, both were very gloomy subjects. Frist thing first...food! Kate walked over to the pantry to see what they had to eat and wasn't surprised to see a whole lot of nothing...well, that and healthy stuff. Ana was into healthy eating whereas Kate...well, wasn't. Neither one of the girls were overweight, though. Ana was quite thin, pale, light blond hair and only a bit taller then Kate. Kate on the other hand was very curvy, she had a very nice hour glass figure, she was pale as well, and her hair color had the tendency to change quite frequently, at the moment it was a darker brown with copper streaks. She sighed loudly as she pulled out Mac and Cheese. Another boring night with nothing to do.( Damn now i want mac and Cheeze!) Only and hour left. One hour and I'll be able to leave and not come back until tomorrow. One more hour. Ana kept reminding herself as she filled the salt and pepper shakers. The diner had been empty since eleven thirty, so the last half hour had gone by at an incredibly slow pace. It's not that the night had been an exceptionally busy one, but just tedious with a lot of customers complaining for stupid reasons, such as their milkshake hadn't been chocolaty enough, that the jukebox played modern songs as well as ones from the 50's therefore making the diner less authentic, and also the fact that the diner didn't have a live band playing. Who complains about that? Swingers only had live bands on Saturday, therefore if the stupid people wanted to listen and dance to a live band then they would have to come back in two days. Ugh! Ana needed to find a new job or she would kill herself. Just then she was pulled from her thoughts as a man entered the Diner, s**t! It was past twelve, she was supposed to lock the door at twelve. Well she couldn't kick this guy out now. Oh well. ''You can just take a seat anywhere.'' she said to the man as she locked the front door, assuring that no one else would come in. She then turned back to see her customer and found him sitting on a stool at the front counter. Ana looked at him and smiled despite herself. He was very good looking. He had blond hair that was short and gelled back, wore black jeans, black shirt and a long black duster jacket. He turned to look at her, oh wow, he was hot! Very distinct cheek bones, which was a turn on. Ana then noticed that she had been staring, so she quickly contained herself and walked behind the counter to ask what the man wanted. ''Um...hi! Welcome to Swinger's Diner, where the 50's will never go out of style. What can I get you tonight?'' Ana hated saying it, made her look stupid in front of this very hot man. ''You're blushing, love.'' he said with a British accent. ''No, I'm not! I'm just flustered.'' she argued stubbornly. The man held his hands up, ''Didn't mean any offence.'' ''Sorry, it's been a long night. So what can I get for you, sir?'' she asked again. ''Roan.'' he replied. Ana arched her eyebrow in confusion, he continued, ''My name is Roan.'' ''Oh, well it's nice to meet you Roan, my name is-'' ''Ana.'' he cut her off. She looked taken aback for a moment. How could he know her name? Then he pointed to her name tag. Wow, she really was being stupid tonight. ''And I won't be ordering anything , thanks.'' ''You won't be ordering anything?'' Ana repeated, and saw Roan nod his head. ''Well, no offence or anything, but why are you here then?'' ''Just trying to get away from someone, love.'' he replied. ''Get away from someone?'' Oh no, this situation wasn't looking very good. ''Get away from who?'' She questioned, a little nervous to hear the answer. Roan opened his mouth to talk, but there was a loud bang on the door as two vampires pounded on it looking at Roan and Ana through the glass. Ana knew right away that they were both vampires because of their morphed faces, long fangs and their anger problems. ''Them!'' said Roan. ''Vampires? Why are you running from vampires?'' she asked. ''Oh! So you know all about Vampires then?'' he asked. ''Obviously. I have this whole past thing.'' She said as she waved her hand giving the impression that she didn't want to get into it. ''Ah, I see.'' He looked at the vampires, who were still banging at the door, and he waved at them with a smile. ''Why are they chasing you exactly?'' ''Because I kind of killed their sister.'' he said as he turned back towards Ana. ''Why did you kill their sister? Don't piss off vampires!'' Ana cried. ''I killed her because vampires are evil and if that's not enough for you, I killed her because her and both her brothers were sent to spy on me and to find out where I was. Now they know, bloody hell!'' he cursed. ''I don't even want to know. Great, now we have very mad vampire brothers trying to get into the diner and kill us.'' Ana repeated the situation to herself. ''Yeah, well we should probably get out of here, before they figure out that they can just break through the window and come in.'' ''I'm surprised that they haven't figured that out yet.'' ''Their sister was the brains of the family. These two aren't exactly the brightest in the bunch, if you know what I mean.'' he reached across the counter and wrapped his hand around Ana's wrist and pulled her around the counter and towards the back of the diner. ''Do you have a car parked in the back of this place?'' ''Yeah, this way.'' she said as she grabbed her purse and pulled out her keys. They both opened the back door to see that the coast was clear, then ran to Captain Oats. Once they were both in they locked the doors and Ana started the car. ''Crap the only way out is for us to go past the vampires in the front of the diner.'' Ana pointed out. ''If they come at us we can just plough right threw them...assuming that this car won't fall apart if we do.'' he said. ''Captain oats has never let me down before!'' ''Captain who?'' asked Roan, but before Ana could answer she had gunned the accelerator and they took off. The vampires did indeed see both Ana and Roan in the car and did attempt to jump on the car, but Ana drove the car onto the grass and pulled the emergency break, and with the grass being wet from the sprinkler system that had come on earlier the car spun into a 360, knocking both vampires to the ground. Ana put down the break and took off down the deserted street. ''Wow, nice driving, love.'' ''Thanks, my friend Kate taught me that move. She does that on ice in the winter, I only assumed that I would also work on wet grass.'' Obviously Ana was very proud of herself. ''Now where do you live?'' ''At the moment?'' ''No, where did you live last year?'' she asked sarcastically. He chuckled. ''Down on Maple street, I rented a house for awhile.'' ''Ok, I know where that is, it's right by my house.'' The next ten minutes in the car were silent, it wasn't awkward though, which was quite odd. When Ana pulled up in front of Roan's house he went to open the door, but then stopped. ''Hey, you wouldn't be interested in going out with me tomorrow night, would you?'' ''Um, I have to work until ten'' Ana thought about this in her head. Obviously something was very wrong with Roan, if he had vampires spying on him but he was really nice, funny, and extreamly good looking. ''But after work Im free!'' ''Good, I'll pick you up then. I'll do the driving tomorrow, love. Thanks for the lift.'' he winked at her then shut the car door and walked into his house. Ana couldn't quite figure out if this was a good thing or a bad thing.Kate sat on the front steps of her house, with Chandler sitting right beside her. ''It's only midnight, still another hour until Ana comes home. God tonight was boring.'' Kate looked down at the cat, who only meowed back. ''I'll be right back, I want to put my pajamas on.'' She stood up and walked back into the house and into her room. She then slipped on her silk black pj pants and then buttoned up the matching shirt. Just as she was doing up the last button she looked out her open bedroom window and saw the figure of a man standing under the street lamp right across the street. OMG, it was the same guy-vampire that was in the park the night before! Had he been watching her change? The pervert! He was a stalker! Kate looked more closely and saw something snaking around the vampires feet. She squinted her eyes and saw what it was, Chandler! He's going to kill my cat! Her stalker picked Chandler up, and waved a Kate. He then waved for her to follow him and he began to walk away. There was no way in hell that Kate would let this jerk kill her cat, so she was going after him, but not unarmed. She ran around her room throwing holy water, pepper spray and wooden stakes into her purse, as she pulled her cross necklace over her head. She took another look out her window and saw that he was already gone, but she knew where he was headed. She grabbed her motorcycle helmet and ran out the door. She just prayed that her assumption was right. Within minutes she pulled The Black Pearl aka the Pearl, the name she had given to her black motorcycle, up to the parks entrance and turned off the ignition. She got off the bike and pulled a bottle of holy water out of her purse. Keep it handy just in case, she thought as she entered the park and just as she expected she saw her stalker standing in front of the bench with Chandler in his arms. The freak has my cat, she thought angrily to herself. ''He's not your cat. Just a stray you picked up.'' ''Yes, I picked him up, therefore my cat.'' she pointed out, then realized, ''You can read my thoughts?!'' ''I thought that was obvious.'' he said with a smirk as he dropped Chandler who slowly made his way towards Kate. Maybe he wasn't a vampire after all, she didn't know any vampires that could read minds. ''Oh, I'm a vampire, just not a sanguinary vampire.'' Great now hes talking in riddles, Kate thought, the vampire only chucked and then motioned for her to come closer to him. She shook her head vigorously. Who in their right mind would just stroll up to a vampire in the middle of a dark park? Only a suicidal person, that's who! Kate looked up and saw that she was now standing right in front of the vampire...oh no! How did she get here? A minute ago she was over there, and now she was here...pressed tightly against this very good looking but very evil vampire. This wasn't good. Then she remembered the holy water in her hand. She quickly pulled the cork on the small vile and threw the liquid at him. ''Ha! See you in hell!'' she cried as the water dripped down his black leather jacket...wait a tick. Why wasn't he burning? ''I already told you, I'm a different kind of vampire.'' He smiled as he wiped some of the water away. ''You want my blood, don't you?'' Kate was quite afraid. She didn't exactly know what she was up against here. ''Tempting but unnecessary. I brought you here for another reason.'' He stepped closer to her. ''Nice pyjamas by the way.'' he mocked looking down at her. Damn! She had forgotten to change before she left the house. Great when the police find her body they would think she was some psycho person who sleep walks or something. ''I already told you, Im not going to kill you. I brought you here for a different reason.'' This thing where he read her mind was getting a tad annoying. ''You lured me here!'' she argued. ''Ok, I lured you here but not to kill you.'' ''Well then what do you want?'' He smiled, maybe that was a bad question to ask. Kate's stomach was twisting in knots. ''I wanted to know if you wanted to go out tomorrow night.'' ''huh?'' was all that Kate could manage. ''Tomorrow night. You and me going out somewhere.'' ''A date? You want to go out on a date with me? Why?'' she questioned, very much taken aback by the whole situation...he hadn't luered her to the park to kill her but to ask her out. ''I've been watching you for a long time and there is something about you'' ''How long have you been watching me for, exactly?'' ''About a month...when you first moved in with Ana.'' ''First moved in? oh! You mean when I moved back in!'' he stared at her in curiosity. ''I left for three months...on a trip, then I came back.'' 'Yeah, anyway, how about it?'' Kate looked into his icy blue eyes and felt shivers running all the way down her body. She could hear a voice whispering in her head saying 'yes'. ''Yes.'' the words escaped her mouth before she knew what she was doing. He stepped even closer to her. ''Great.'' he said ''Well I guess I'll be heading home now! See you tomorrow night!'' As she was about to turn away he grabbed her arm and spun her around so she was once again facing him. ''Before you go, I'm actually a little hungry.'' ''Please don't take my blood! It's very thin, kind of like Chinese food, you're always hungry again an hour later!'' she cried desperate not to be eaten by a vampire on this particular night. ''I told you, I'm a different kind of vampire. A psychic one.'' Kate saw two fangs sticking out of the corner of his mouth as he smiled. ''You're teeth would say otherwise.'' she mumbled. He chuckled, then placed his finger under Kates chin forcing her to look him in the eyes. God, they were gorgeous eyes. She could stare into the blueness of them forever. Then she felt tingles all over her body. She began to feel light headed and weak as her legs gave out from under her. He caught her in his arms as darkness began to cloud her vision. ''Until tomorrow night.'' he said as she fell into a deep sleep.
and there u have it, that was the first two chapters of my book ^^
