ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
'Kay 'kay, you Harpswell Three. Gather 'round and listen to my tale.....

MUGGLEFEST!!! Y'know, for the book. I've gotten you all tickets. It starts at 1:00 PM and goes to 1:00 AM, but we'll have gone to Bookland by then. But you ride a train and everything and go to a fake Diagon Alley. Jenny will be coming, as well as Becca and my mom (for parent's information). I'll also have my cell phone, for safety reasons. rolleyes
I think it'll be really cool, and tons of fun.
Oh. When does the Bookland one start? Because we'll leave before that to make it to that one. mrgreen
Now for my day..
Bike path. Sheriously, running is getting annoying. And three miles never seemed so long.... I was actually able to "run" a mile at my snail pace. I did better than I thought I would. eek We -by 'we' I mean Jenny and I- started a the beginning. Mum would do some shopping and pick up some P'zones from Pizza Hut and wait at the end. I left my cd player in the car because they were whining and Jenny would have no one to talk to. But as soon as we started running she left me behind!
So I trotted along...
And soon she was out of sight.... *angry muttering*
The next time I saw her, she jumped out of a bush trying to scare me. But I was focused on my breathing, so I didn't even flinch. mrgreen That was where, of course, the skin of her right hand burst out in angry welts. Like, twenty mosquito bites. Stupid stupid. I didn't stop though. She ran up to me, then drifted into milkweed and found a monarch catepillar on a leaf. So she wouldn't run anymore.
I stopped and waited for her once, but then I got pissed and didn't do it anymore.
I finished after a while. I had never actually finished it before, so the ending was unfamiliar. There were a few cars in the parking lot. I was walking, debating where to go, when mom conveniently pulls up in her station wagon. I eat some meat p'zone and I tell her about Jenny's rash (probably poison ivy or something). Jenny comes, we go home to wash it out. Because of her, I didn't get to look for a gray sweater vest for my Gryffindor getup. evil
Val, do you still have your scarf? I do! Thank you, Randi. heart
And I'm just going to use my Helena tie. I don't care if it doesn't have stripes; I'm not going to draw them on.
And I found my mom's graduation robe. We kind of.....cut it short. Well, when I was in the 3rd grade. Because of Halloween there. I was Hermione. So now....it's somewhere around my knees. But that means that I have a shiny spiderwebby hat and a vampire cape to lend to peoples. Do you have anything, Jordypoo? I'm not completely sure my hat will match Randi's cape... And Jenny has a cheapo red tie because she wanted to copy me... ninja I think she'll let one of you borrow it. She wants to be Dobby for some reason I can't comprehend....
But really, for a costume, all you need is a white blouse, red tie, black skirt, tacky knee socks, and clogs. Which is basically what I'm going to do. Don't laugh at me! emo
