Well, I'm feeling oober sicky!! My allergies have been bothering me since I was asleep last night (the bf informed me that I was coughing all night). I woke up with the whole 9 yards: sinus pain & pressure, chills, sneezing, runny nose, aches, cough, sore throat...you name it, I got it!! Everything straight down to the pale face.
This is (surprisingly) my first taste of the season's allergies.
And, of course, I had to work today.
And, of course, one of the delivery guys slept in, so the huge store delivery was terribly late.
And, of course, most of the putting away had to be done by none other than myself.
And, to top it all off, the assistant manager (unjustifiably) got a lil lippy with me right before I left.
So, most of the time that I've been home I've spent wrapped up in a blanket & drinking tea (black *orange pekoe* tea, with 3 tsp sugar & enough milk to make it a dark creamy color).
And, since it's only 56 degrees (F) right now, I decided tonight would be ideal to work on my Bianca blankie for the first time in quite a few weeks (it's been hotter/muggy-er than hell!!) It's a thick piece of work, & it's coming along quite well, so it's certainly keeping my lap warm.
Maybe *someday*, it shall be finished & on its way to its intended owner...
I worked on my stuffie doll last night. All I have left to do is stuff another arm, both legs, & her torso, and then sew her all together. And then add hair. And then make some clothes...
*One step at a time, though, hehehe*
I decided it would be super sweet to make myself a "healing" shrug, for that sick-y feeling. I have to work on expanding the idea a bit though.
Well, back to my craftin'... smile
*sniffle sniffle, cough cough, whiiiiiiiine*
