Right now I'm eating a lollypop (also known as a 'popsicle') and it's supposed to be raspberry BUT THEY LIED! It's CHICK PEA FLAVOURED! BLEH!!!! Oh and I'm gonna randomly throw it at my neighbour's cat that keeps hissing at me...
Ugh, I hate people who judge you by the way you dress or act. It REALLY annoys me! Recently I for some really random reason painted my fingernails hot pink and then put very bright glittery things on them for effect, and everyone's like blinded by my nails now, and... yep. It's so annoying! And also, the way I dress is really different. I dress different because I have my own sense of style and all of my friends can vouch on that and back me up. It's different and kind of...funky ^^ ANYWAY! I hate people who just take on look at you and decide that you're no good or you're not a nice or interesting person. Like my friend! She's really pretty, and she's a model for Ralph Lauren, but when I showed my other friends a picture of her they all said she looked stuck-up and bratty because she's prettier than them! My friend's Swedish, so she's like REALLY pretty in a cool, different way! ^_^ Luff you K8lyn! Yup, and some people take one long look at me - I goof off alot for like really random reasons - and think I'm some stuck-up brat who goofs off to much and likes to annoy everyone in the immediate area! That is SO not me! I like to goof off, but I'm not stuck up and I'm not a brat! Yep, and also there was this girl in my class who began to dress like me and I smiled at her and said she had a cute top, and the next day she started mouthing off about me that I was ugly and that I looked horrible in all the clothes I wore, and that I was copying her. I was NOT! Even the girl's friend who's a friend of mine told her it wasn't true! But even though I'm not in the least bit unstable or uncertain of myself, the word ugly is DEFINITELY my weak spot. No one should call ANYONE ugly, no matter what! Unless the person has done horrible things like... Count Olaf. But still, bad or terrible would be better than calling a person ugly. Because that person, no matter how hard it might be to believe, has feelings too, and might care what others thinks about his or her appearance. The word 'ugly' is probably the cause of suicide among young teenage girls today who feel pressure to be pretty or thin. No person is ugly, because everyone is beautiful in their own special way. I read in Roald Dahl's book, my favourite book, The Twits, that even if you're marred with a wonky nose and crooked teeth and a double chin, if you have a good personality and attitude then you'll be beautiful no matter what. I just think shallow people use the word 'ugly' as a way to make themselves feel prettier. But really, it makes people feel horrible, as well as the... insultant. If you compliment someone it makes you feel happy as well as the person you complimented. I just think that it's a horrible word. Here's its definition in the dictionary: Ugly - 1. very unattractive or unpleasant to look at; offensive to the sense of beauty; displeasing in appearance. 2. disagreeable; unpleasant; objectionable: ugly tricks; ugly discords. 3. morally revolting: ugly crime. 4. threatening trouble or danger: ugly symptoms. 5. mean; hostile; quarrelsome: an ugly mood; an ugly frame of mind. 6. (esp. of natural phenomena) unpleasant or dangerous: ugly weather; an ugly sea.
Personally, I think the first one is horrible to be said. Offensive to the sense of beauty? Excuse me? Whoever even THINKS that is even uglier than the person WITH the wonky nose and double chin and crooked teeth.
This is the definition of beautiful:
Beautiful - 1. having beauty; having qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about, etc.; delighting the senses or mind: a beautiful dress; a beautiful speech. 2. excellent of its kind: a beautiful putt on the seventh hole; The chef served us a beautiful roast of beef. 3. wonderful; very pleasing or satisfying. –noun 4. the concept of beauty (usually prec. by the). 5. (used with a plural verb) beautiful things or people collectively (usually prec. by the): the good and the beautiful. 6. the ideal of beauty (usually prec. by the): to strive to attain the beautiful. –interjection 7. wonderful; fantastic: You got two front-row seats? Beautiful! 8. extraordinary; incredible: used ironically: Your car broke down in the middle of the freeway? Beautiful!
So then what about the 'ugly' people? Are they... displeasing to hear? Pff I don't think so. Well I think I've proved my point. Ugly is probably one of the most foul words to use against someone, and that's FINAL.
Oh & I'm officially scared of Tsubasa. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME! I was bored & took a quiz about what the characters thought of me and it said my boyfriend would be a stupid half blind kid!! WHO READS! AAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think this totally ruined a serious journal entry but THAT'S OKAY!
