	WORLD'S BIGGEST WATER BALLOON FIGHT
	WORLD'S BIGGEST WATER BALLOON FIGHT

On Saturday the 21st April, 2006, Sydney's infamous Coogee beach ( Bondi's baby brother ) played host to the World's biggest water balloon fight thanks to major sponsor Xbox. Picture it, 2,921 participants divided into two teams launching over 55,000 water balloons at each other. Thats a lot of water! Balloons were launched with a count down arrival of a chopper hovering above the crowd. Participants came from as far as South America and Europe to take part in this record breaking event, to celebrate the Aussie launch of Xbox 360 Live. Global record breaking events are fast becoming the event de jour, thanks to the brilliant organization and financial backing of players such as Xbox. Money raised went to local surf life saving clubs, who end up rescuing about 8 thousand overseas visitors to Sydney untamed seas ever year. Remember, always swim between the flags!
