One day it was very dark like usual in this small town,bloom, it was always raining here the saddest town in any were how'd it get a name like bloom? noone will ever know the guy that named it has long been dead he must have seen something here but all i see is wilting flowers and dark skies no sun just clouds up in the sky up ahead. All the animals are so miserable only a few still hang around these parts if you see any at all there nothing but bones they look like they'll just fall at any time faint or maybe die. When the storms come there never expected it looks like it's always about to rain. Here almost every house is abanded only creepy people still live here a few down my block. Sometimes there will be one normal family. Like my boyfriends family but were planning on getting out of this town very soon it's way to depressing to stay in. Our family's don't want to move away they all believe that one day this town will be beautiful. Like something will actually grow out of these ashes. But they say it's okay if we go they know that we'll be okay on our own.
cHAPTER ONE MORNING!!!!!!!!
"candy are you ready to get going ?" "yea, just a minute" i said huging my mom a tear stame down my face down my cheek bone i closed my eyes tightly wrapping my arms tighter not wanting to leave. "Bye candy" mom said her voice cracking.
letting go of her i gave my dad a hug rubbing my little brother andy's dark brown hair messing it up. "I love ya'll guys so much!" i said picking up my red suitcase going down the driveway i looked back one last time at my mom's sweet loving face her red hair flowing like water. My dad standing broad,his short dark brown hair just like andy's. I looked at the blue door that used to look so ugly and so uninviteing now looked like a welcome sighn. The cars slow steady rumble startled me as i came out of my memories of this house. "come on candy we have to get going before sundown" Garret said gently closing the car door behind him takeing my suitcase he put it in the trunk. Leading me over to the car he opened the passenger door of the green 2005 neon. I climbed in and rolled down the merky window so i could see out tears started streaming out of my deep blue eyes even faster my hair started sticking to my face Garret got in the drivers seat put his arm around me and started to drive slowly away. looking out my window i saw the houses go by and hung my head down looking at the road i saw the bright golden stripes flying by i wanted to reach out and touch then the road looked like a black stream with golden fish.Looking through the back window i could barely see my family waving. Then they fanished. A couple hours went by with noone speaking.
So when Garret broke the silence it suprised me he said "i know your sad but you'll love our new place i also got something for you " My eyes looked up at his pitch black hair, his teal eyes with excitement he was smiling so large it looked like his face would brake. "what is it?" i asked taking my green hair tie off my wrist pulling my red hair into a ponytail. "here"he said telling me to take the wheel he reached into the backseat and took out a box with a blue ribbon on top.Handing it to me i nearly dropped it on how much it weighed. "remember when i told you that the car was making that wine noise?" he asked looking out the windshield. "yea"i said looking down at the package. "well open it" he said nudging me. Slowly i took the ribbon off and took off the lid "aww a puppy"i said seeing the little pup pop it's white head out blinking in the sun. The puppy had a black spot around it's eye and a black dot on his tail. "have you named it yet ? "i asked petting the puppy gently.
"nope thought you would want to"Garret answered. I though for a second but could'nt think of anything. "well is it a boy or a girl ?" i said taking the puppy out of the box i saw it was a girl. I took the box from my lap puttin it in the backseat i grabbed the blue ribbon wrote Valantine on it and tied it loosely around the puppy's neck in a bow. "her names valantine!" i said. "nice name" Garret smiled. Valentine barked softly agreeing that she liked the name as well. We both laughed at the silly pup in my lap sitting there like she owned the place but every time the car hit a bump she would fall back down. "may i ? " i asked pointing to the radio nob. "sure" Garret said taking his eyes of the road for a brief second. Turning the nob i got to a station that was'nt all static. "hard rock ?" garret asked. "no christian rock "i said enthusiasticly."awesome, so when are you going to bring me to church like you promised?" Garret asked his eyes lighting up his whole face. "soon don't worry" i said smiling."Garret went around a corner and started looking around. "yup thought so."Garret told himself going under a sighn that said Welcome to edgar. "were here" he said pulling up into a driveway of a white house with blue trimming and shuters. "wow this is the house?"i asked hopeing that i was'nt dreaming. "YUP!!"he said smiling at me he reached out a touched the pup on the head. Cutting off the engine he got out of the car ,and came around to open my door for me as soon as the door opened Valentine jumped out of my lap firmly onto the ground. "showoff!" i said giggling.Garret closed the door behind me softly. Taking my hand he lead me and Valentine at my heals to the warm brown door. Puttin the key in he took a deep breath and walked in. The cieling had a fan and the floors were pine. The hall on the left led to the bedroom and the restroom , straight ahead led to the kitchen and dining room. Were we were standing was the living room. The walls were a warm peachy color. Everything was so warm now not so depressing. "so you like it ?" Garret asked. "yea i love it " i said as his arm slippe slowly around my waist. "so i guess we should be getting the suitcases then we have to wait for the movers to get here." Garret said turning towards the door."yea" i nodded agreeing.
