...Sucks.
xD
Working at Sonic itself is pretty damn good. I work about six hours only twice a week and everyday I earn about twenty to thirty dollars in just tips. Pretteh nice. I just gotta smile and take out the food, yo. And of course do the chores. xD
My managers, however, can kiss my a**. ;D They just... suck. And I NEVER get any breaks. D:< I have more days without breaks than I do with. |: My General Manager, Louisa, is like... a retard. /: She's constantly yelling at us, in a really prissy-pissed off tone. Even if we're not BUSY. She just sucks at being a manager. The other day she went: "I want those burgers out ASAP! And what's up with those mozzerella sticks? Those were supposed to be out already! You guys are creating your own rush. Don't you get me started!" And mentally I went: 'Dude... you've ALREADY started. xDD' She's just always got this angry tone. I hate working with that woman. I get little images of my fist connecting HARD with her head. =_=
And then there's Moses, who's the third highest manager, I believe. He has control issues. Completely.
They NEVER let people who are sick go home. There was this one chick who was puking in the bathroom, having a migrane, and Moses WOULDN'T LET HER GO HOME. If I ever get sick and they don't let me go, I'm just leaving. ;D I ain't keeping my sick self out there for some low-level job like that. XD Besides, I've never asked to go home when I've been sick there. So if they denied me, it's on their sorry asses. =_=
And I'm always like an hour late getting off work. xD
Weirdest orders I have had to take out: A Dr. Pepper with jalapeños in it. (No, I am not joking.) The next was an iced tea with Reeses in it. :3 (Nor am I joking about that. <3)
Ooooh! I must share with you the four customers that I shall remember foreva'~
(Not in any particular order, btw.)
The first: There's this woman that comes occasionally, yeah? Well... her eyelashes... look like mutated spider legs. It's like... uuuugh. xD; And her makeup is like Mimi's from the Drew Carry Show. (Is that how the show is spelled? xD) If you haven't seen the makeup on that actress, see NOW. It's just.... -shudders- The colors match man. XD
The second: A drink accidentally dropped in this woman's car. It was partly my fault, because I let go when I thought that she had it and she didn't. Still, that woman just LECTURED me and didn't give me a chance to speak at all! I was so mad that finally I just went: "Have a nice day." In a clipped tone and just turned around and walked away. It took me like an hour to cool down. It's really difficult to get my switch turned on like that, but that woman... I don't give a damn about how old she is and how young I am. You don't talk to someone like that unless they've done something to seriously insult you and DESERVE it. I dropped a small DRINK. >< I realize that it's going to do some damage to her car, but the way that she railed me... that just wasn't correct. Shows what type of a character she has.
The third: I got this guy (today, in fact) that I was giving food to. He gave me the money and I was fixing his change. And y'know what he said? "Keep the change, little b***h." o____O;;; He wasn't mad... he just said it and kept on going with what he was doin'. That's what he said. At first I didn't know what he'd said. I understood to keep the coin change and I heard "b***h" somewhere in there, but I didn't realize what it was that he'd said. xD There was a coworker of mine passing by and I thought that he'd said that about her, and I went: 'Does her know her? @_@' It was only when I was walking away and began to think that I finally GOT what it was that he said. I went: 'WHAAA?' I'm still shocked, really. xD
The fourth: Okay... I got this dude like a month or so ago. He was well-cut, muscly kinda dude. He had thick eyeliner on and had a bandanna. He was also wearing a really tight shirt, sleeveless. But y'wanna know what stood out the most? Ha. AHAHA. MINISKIRT. He was wearing a MINISKIRT. >.O;; It was... one of those miniskirts that if you were to lean over just a teenee-tini-bit that your underwear would be available for the entire world to take pictures of. He was wearing that kind of a skirt. And y'know what? Ugh, nvm, I don't even want to give you the mental image. xDD
